LisaC2611 · 19/07/2012 07:36

Ooh a shiny new thread Grin

Baby dust to everyone. Let's hope this is the lucky one Smile

Maclairey · 19/07/2012 08:21

Hi just wanted to say hello on the shiny new thread and wish you all the best of luck for this one! Sorry to hear your bfn dulcet but still very early days. My BFP at 13dpo was very faint.

Just wanted to say Newbie that when I got my smiley we dtd that morning but not the next day as we were at a wedding all day. We caught from that :)

Anyway I am still lurking and keeping an eye on you all.

DulcetMoans · 19/07/2012 08:30

Thanks all. I am away this weekend so will see if she arrives. If not, test again next week! Otherwise, it's onto mumbai and alwyn.

Had a slight panic when I saw the other thread was full. Phew!

purplefairies · 19/07/2012 08:56

Hello all!!
I'd dipped out of the thread last month as I had such horrendous thrush (really swollen, sorry if TMI) that we only managed to DTD once :( I was really down about that. I'm now on CD 33 and no sign of AF but I've already POAS and BFN - don't know why I'm feeling sad as I can't really have expected anything else.

Now I just have to wait for AF to turn up so that I can get going on cycle no. 3!! I see quite a few of us are on cycle no. 3 so hope it's a lucky one!

Newbie2 · 19/07/2012 09:22

Dear ClearBlue workers, please please please send Nicola a giant parcel of tempting sticks so that we have our POAS buddy back :) oh and we could also do with a jumbo box of digital tests for when we get our BFPs :)

Mclairey oh sorry I got confused about your DTD days! I will deffinately take a leaf out your book and DTD in the morning rather then the evening like last time. Perhaps that's why I missed it!

NicolaHazel · 19/07/2012 09:52

Noooo...don't add morning sex into it. I've no bloody chance on a weekday!

Though I should ovulate on a weekend this time, so it will be possible.

And, my BFP is due when my sister is visiting, so I think that would be nicely timed :-)

Newbie2 · 19/07/2012 11:33

Hah hah I know! Weekday Morning DTD feels like stepping it up a gear...ridiculous :) I am so intrigued to find out when I OV this week. ooooh Nicola that would be very good timing indeed :)

DulcetMoans · 19/07/2012 12:00

Testing for me in August would be around my birthday too so that's something to look forward to.

Hi purple! Welcome back. We are similar now then, BFN, waiting for AF and cycle 3!

Thank you for the hope maclairey. I know its not over yet but I am just not feeling it. It's weird though as I don't have any AF feelings either really. I am feeling-less! The more I pay attention to this body of mine the more unpredictable it is.

Newbie2 · 19/07/2012 13:44

Ok opinions please. I've just read this. Hmm is this why I bloat?

females bodies bloat during ovulation as it is the body's way of preparing to nurture a baby should one successfully develop in the womb. think of it as your body is beginning to stretch out for the new baby and is in the process of rolling out the "welcome mat".

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 19/07/2012 13:54

OK so I'm reading that it's normal to feel so bloated during ovulation times and it's the hormones causing me discomfort. I've also just read that the pill takes that all away...oh great :/

OP posts:
purplefairies · 19/07/2012 14:21

I've been feeling really bloated since I stopped taking the pill, too. I read something about progesterone in the 2nd half of your cycle (is that right?) slowing down the digestive system, which makes you bloat.

No AF feelings for me either, Dulcet. I'm worried I'll never have AF again and last month was my only chance of conceiving ever!! Ok, slightly dramatic, but still. I'd expect to be getting at least a few cramps by now (and a few more spots!). So frustrating because it just makes next month's cycle more difficult to predict.

RuckAndRoll · 19/07/2012 14:33

Hi, Can I join you all here?
Fairly new to TTC our first baby. DH has only just decided he's ready or come to terms with the fact he'll never be ready!
Looking forward to lots of BFPs Smile

DulcetMoans · 19/07/2012 14:42

Hi ruckandroll. We are trying to get some BFP but it's not been a very successful morning!

Newbie, I would largely agree with that statement. As someone that hasn't been on the pill and is constantly on the scales, I would say I weigh most between about OV. I've always wondered why I felt at my fattest after AF as well, that makes sense now.

I'm sure it wasn't your only chance purple. We just have to wait now. More waiting! How annoying!

NicolaHazel · 19/07/2012 18:01

Hi ruckandroll :-)

My god...utterly shite day at work. Just SO bloody busy I can't keep up with everything at all. It wouldn't be so bad if things didn't keep cropping up that are urgent!

I can see a full weekend of work ahead of me :-(

Oh, and I was just considering how bloated I look / feel on CD4. Now I know!

letsdothisthing · 19/07/2012 18:25

evening all and welcome to the thread rockandroll :)

Nicola you have just described my day, so glad to be home but know I am about to be hounded again tomorrow!

Managed to escape the office for a bit this afternoon and bought the pg tests from Superdrug, didnt know if the offer would still be on but cant fault £8 for 4 tests! Bought some more OPK ones in tesco too as only had one left and am getting addicted to the things!

Newbie2 · 19/07/2012 20:09

Ugh just got home from work and it's 8pm. To cheer myself up I cracked open a CB OV stick...living it up in my household! Anyway, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't ovulating because I've been so so bloated and crampy today. No smiley face so I am not. Good to hear you ladies also feel bloated around OV time, it was starting to worry me.
