Wishing everyone a happy BFP!!!!!

OP posts:

It's 12 weeks today, mum, so there is time to wait.

But...a) I don't want to leave it until the last minute and b) they've had the invites for 3 months now, plenty of time to respond. Which is why I'll be telling them it's retracted this time next week.

If they don't care about upsetting me by ignoring the invitation, I don't care about upsetting them by telling them they're no longer invited.

I've got too much shit / stress in my life already to care about their feelings, to be honest! And I also offered everyone extra time to respond, but only if they told me they needed it, and nobody has.

Anyway...CD6 today. On with the DTD!

MumOfTwoCats · 21/07/2012 10:34

It is very annoying. I had to chase some people. When i asked them they said 'of course we're coming. How could we miss it! '

How was I to know? Esp as we got married on a Friday.

Can't you call them from DH phone? Or make a loud fake call to the planner saying 'Take x and y off as they aren't coming. Must be too busy .... '

annabegins24 · 21/07/2012 10:50

I feel really really ill. for 3 days now I've had severe stomach cramps. The thought and smell of food makes me want to gag. I feel like I'm going to be sick but haven't been yet and I have bad diarrhea (sorry tmi). Apparently there's a bug going about but these cramps aren't anything like I've felt before. I took a preg test first thing yesterday morning and one this morning but both negative. I had my implant removed last month and blead for a few days after, if I counted that as an af I should've afd last weekend. No bleeding at all since last month.
Is it possible to have morning sickness without a positive test? I bought a load of cheap test on ebay, however they're ment to be highly sensitive..?
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated x

NicolaHazel · 21/07/2012 11:03

Strange, isn't it?

The people I'm waiting for have already had a couple of reminders and haven't responded to any of them. Despite saying how excited they were when we got engaged. I find it very bloody odd / rude. If you can't come, you can't come, but it's kind of polite to tell us!

I wouldn't dream of touching H2B's phone though (not that I haven't considered it!).

Oh well, it's their loss, not mine (though I feel sorry for Bri having such shit friends and family).

Anna, sorry, I have no idea...it may be worth asking in a thread where they're on their second or more child, as they have experience they can share.

MumOfTwoCats · 21/07/2012 11:42

Hi Anna. Sorry you feel unwell. As Nicola says, we haven't had the experience of morning sickness yet!

We use each other phone all the time. Which ever is closest! Have about 70% same numbers in them. I did mean you could ask H2B to give you the numbers to calm (may stir him into action to do it himself! )

annabegins24 · 21/07/2012 11:45

Ok thanks girls x

NicolaHazel · 21/07/2012 11:50

Ah, I could do, but I've kind of given up!

I've sent everyone Facebook messages, so if they don't respond today it is tough :-)

I'm now more interested in planning my DTD action! I think CD6, 7, 10, 13 and 14 should cover it. Will then cover OV time nicely, I think. Good that it is the weekend this month really, so no extra DTD required (I'm seriously too lazy for this TTC lark!).

MumOfTwoCats · 21/07/2012 12:17

Sounds as if you've made up your mind!

We plan to dtd as much as possible. Last month was cd 7, 11, 13, 14, 16, 22. Month before was 11, 13, 16,.17, 18, 30. Obv not enough for us!

NicolaHazel · 21/07/2012 12:41

It isn't like I haven't tried and I haven't contacted everyone at least 3 times about it! Above and beyond, I feel. I've offered everyone a few extra weeks too, if needed. I've had NO response from anyone still outstanding. So, I know when I'm being ignored / am beaten!

We've DTD regularly too, but haven't caught it...but I think we just didn't quite time it right last month. And when you look at the percentages, you could do it every day and still not get up duffed (as some on here have found) so I just think it will happen at some point and cycle 3 isn't the time to worry. Especially when I don't think I ovulated during cycle 1 anyway!

mumbaisapphire · 21/07/2012 12:47

Tested this morning and no baby. But woke up having had a really vivid dream where I went to see the nurse and tested there and I was pregnant in fact the test was immediatley clear. The opposite happened in real life! Oh well onto cycle 2. AF is showing signs of arrival so now my totally average cycles are extending to 36 or even 37 days! I'm going to read up on EPO.

MumOfTwoCats · 21/07/2012 12:52

Hi mumbaisapphire. I'm on day 2 of epo. I have high hopes! Cd8 cycle 6. I read that you take it for the first two weeks but not during 2ww as it can increase risk of mc?

MumOfTwoCats · 21/07/2012 12:53

And I`m sorry for your bfn.

Roxyjade · 21/07/2012 14:22

Hi Newbie2

Yep mine is showing 2 bars as well. It asked for another test today and that also showed High, But I am hearing it can take a cycle or 2 to understand your body. Has any one on here used the CBFM and conceived?

Hi NicolaHazel, Hi Letsdothisthing, HiMumoftwocats, hope you are all ok :)

NicolaHazel · 21/07/2012 14:23

Hi Roxy :-)

Sorry for the BFN Mumbai :-(

Roxyjade · 21/07/2012 14:33

Hi Nicola,

thats ok, do you use the CBFM at all and if so what are your thoguths on it. ?

NicolaHazel · 21/07/2012 14:41

I don't...a bit expensive for me, and it is still so early TTC that I probably won't bother, unless it has taken 6 - 12 months without result.

I'll be using the CB smilie sticks next month as I'll be doing the trial, but I'm trying to not get too obsessed yet!

Roxyjade · 21/07/2012 14:50

I have heard of the CB smily sticks, i brought some ov test on Amazon ( I got about 100 for £7) but after months of not getting a positive reading at all, i decided to buy the CBFM and used it first time this month.

Same as me,. i didnt wasnt to get obsessed but because it hasnt happend and its been over a year...Im now obsessed....the CBFM Seems really good. I have got more positive feed back then negative which is good.

I hope you get a BFP soon, will be so nice to hear :)

NicolaHazel · 21/07/2012 14:58

Ah, yes, I'm sure I'll get one after that length of time!

I think you deserve a BFP sooner than me...you've been waiting ages.

mumbaisapphire · 21/07/2012 16:35

It's ok, was only the first attempt so didn't really think it would catch but you never know. Onto August, and I have the OV sticks this time so will start using them early on and see what happens. If I'm in for another 35-36 day cycle then I am thinking that ovulation will be around 13 Aug which is slightly annoying as we'll be together on the 10th, but DP's off on the 11th, and then I will see him again on the 13th. Blooming annoying. We'll just have to make sure we DTD on the 11th before he goes and again when back. I have no clue why my perfectly straightforward cycles have extended to 35/36 days when they were nice 28-29 days earlier in the year. All I can think is I started a new job in April and maybe it is the stress of that plus they do say when you spend time with a group of women regularly your cycles start to fall into sync....maybe it is that? Whatever, it is bloody annoying.

NicolaHazel · 21/07/2012 16:41

I work on a 6 woman team and 4 of us that I know of are thereabouts in sync! Odd really.

Onto next month...fx for August for all of us.

DulcetMoans · 21/07/2012 16:59

As my natural home thread on mumsnet I don't mind telling you I am currently at the top of a big hill in the sun, drinking champagne on my 10 year anniversary at risk of falling into the COD.

Although I didn't think I was pg, there's always that hope. Now she's turned up in the worst day as if to punish me for having hope. All being as I think it will go, I will start the cb trial tomorrow morning but even that isn't giving me the same enthusiasm it was yesterday.

Feeling sorry for myself!! Sad

DulcetMoans · 21/07/2012 17:02

Ps. Sorry of I am missing any big announcements or new joiners. Crap signal in Wales, it only shows me what it wants me to see!

Poor Dulcet :-(

But enjoy your anniversary...ten years is something to celebrate.

letsdothisthing · 21/07/2012 17:47

Happy anniversary Dulcet, nice sunny day to be out on a hill - especially with the champagne :o so sorry about AF, that sucks:(
