Sue amazing news - you must be chuffed to bits! I remember it all being a bit surreal and people at DD nursery are only now noticing my bump and asked how I could keep it hidden so long ;-) I think thats just what we do after having all these hiccups! Fab news though!

Ladies thanks for all your kind wishes - feel a little less raw today and have documented everything and going to see a lawyer tomorrow as have to have an agreement signed and drawn up anyway. FC I'll be able to negotiate a better settlement or at least know if that's the max I should be looking for. And onwards and upwards

Mercator Its a stressful situation which you could do without but it sounds as if you are organised and the legal people should make sure everything is above board.

To everyone who has got positive pregnancy tests when taking prednisolone, hope you don't mind me asking - how many days past ovulation/which cycle day did you get a positive, and did you use First Response as suggested by Mr S's clinic? Am worried I won't get a positive within 10 days of taking pred and also I'm very impatient and can't wait to test! x

Mollie - Ihad negatives until I missed my period. Only tested at 10 or 11'days and assumed wasn't until Af didn't arrive. Don't panic yet! Good luck.

Thanks mercator, so did you stop the pred at day 10 or 11 and then start again as soon as you knew you were pregnant?...

Massive congrats to Mr and Mrs Free and baby free! What an amazing end to the struggle you have been through. Mr S really is a miracle worker - that's all I have been saying all day as I was starting to give up hope. This really shows all of us that there can be light at the end of the tunnel. It's so reassuring that Mr S is looking at new drugs and different ways to treat the killer cells including the hydroxy. So all of you ladies TTC - don't give up!!!

Mollie I tend to get a faint BFP quite early on at 10DPO with the First Response test. Everyone is different so don't read too much into how many DPO you do get a positive. Its quite lucky I do get an early BFP as I was only taking the steroids for 10 days at a time due to them messing up my cycles. I would still test at 10DPO anyway if I were you just in case! I have got a photo showing my tests for this pregnancy from 10dpo until 16dpo if you want to see it as it shows the progression of the line? I understand if you dont but I spent ages trawling google for images of FRER tests at 10dpo to compare mine against! PM with your email address if you want me to send it.

Mollie I stopped taking Pred from ovulation as it made me feel rubbish but I tested positive at 12dpo with this pregnancy and started the drugs straight away then. I did use a FRER but I didnt test before 12 days so I dont know whether it would have showed up any earlier.

Update: I still have a baby with a beating heart! Dated at 8+5, next scan July 30th. I am so happy. I told the doctor that I was really nervous that something had gone wrong, so she was quick to reassure me. Now if I can just think the best from here on in....

merc that's such crap news. Glad you are getting the help from a solicitor-employers do try it on sometimes- jerks.

mollie yes I stopped and then restarted the 40mg on positive test. Was a bit panicked but all worked out in the end.
