The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

Blush I read "pubbage" as "pube-age" to start with [sniggers in juvenile fashion]

Queeny if you want to waste time on You Tube I can highly recommend "Simon's Cat", and, if you are so inclined search for "Benedict Cumberbatch for your entertainment". It's one of my "go to" videos Wink

see now...Benedict is not my usual taste, but there is just something about him that makes my ovaries twitch.

Simon's Cat is hysterical and much watched in this household.

So happy and delighted for ya Dor!

Enjoy the sunny weekend BESHs one and all. Gin/not gin as appropriate.

queenrollo · 25/05/2012 17:22

yay! for dor i know i'm a latecomer as far as your news is concerned but have been thinking about you.

HOLB came home bearing the ingredients for Pimms and a desire to listen to Test Match Special.
Pimms before dinner has made me wobbly. About to have a glass of water to try and sober up, because otherwise i'm going to be putting DS to dinner half cut. Note to self. Do not let HOLB mix the first batch of Pimms....

I understood all of the first post, the second one confused me bugs! Sorry to hear about your bad hair cut. Can you find a good hat to hide under?!
GP has given me more pain killers, just wish he could give me a chirpy husband. He's a mardy so and so tonight. He's tired. He has three mental weekends in a row and we're in the middle of it. Trouble is, hes saying he didn't sleep well last night. From my perspective, I was writhing in agony while he snored away so I think I got less sleep Hmm not feeling overly sympathetic! At least next weekend he's away :) nah but he's got the bank holiday Monday at home to recover.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/05/2012 18:26

Oh duh you were referring to the spelling! Didn't even realise Blush

queenrollo · 25/05/2012 18:38

no news on bunny. not likely to hear anything, don't fancy phoning the RSPCA to find out - it was hard enough negotiating their phone system.

Sobered up now, DS is going to bed early because he is poorly and therefore grotty and really winding me up....

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/05/2012 13:51

Yes I feel much better for it. Have even managed to do some cleaning! Am leaving the vaccing since MSB has promised ha ha to help tomorrow. He worked this morning, came home for an hour, complained he had no clean pants he did stated he had been busy when I pointed out I've been ill and he knew where the washing machine was, shaved in my nice clean sink Angry and buggered off out til God knows what time. And my friend has cancelled so now I have no plans for today :( boo hoo.
I am a bit mizz. please euro?

eurochick · 26/05/2012 14:03

Can you sit outside in the sunshine, Faith. Sunshine makes almost everything better. And vit D has a role in fertility, so you can tell yourself it is all for a good cause.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/05/2012 15:05

I have got some tools and am going to do a bit of gardening. Something productive in the sunshine. MSB forgot to put his wedding ring on. We have had words! I said I need him to help more. He says he will do stuff tomorrow. will pop some good music on and relax!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/05/2012 18:25

Hooray I have snapped out of it! MSB came home in a taxi just to get his ring so I gave him a lift back into town and went shopping! Bought some nice basic vests and a tres bonne set of undies. The undies are awesome because it had matching pants and thong. I bought the knickers for me and the thong for MSB! Grin I now intend to pamper myself, full works - skin, nails, hair! Then pizza and juice in front of Eurovision!
So what's everyone been up to? Are we actually watching Eurovision?!

FriendofDorothy · 26/05/2012 19:31

Do you think the thong will fit MSB?

I have had a lush day. Photos at a friends house and then fish and chips for lunch and then to the beach with The Mister, the sister and the ankle-biters.

Just on our way out to see the comedian Rufus Hound. A perfect end to a perfect day. Oh, and my cousin and his wife have announced they are expecting too - 6 days before us!
