Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

It's been a great day here too. After our morning out we have just been in the garden, either gardening or playing with DS. It's so nice to just relax and potter about. DS has gone to bed early to watch a DVD.
HOLB having a quick bath and I'm jumping in after him. Then we'll probably attempt to do a little late housework before chilling and listening to music before bed. HOLB has been buying records again

I'm all groomed now, just need to paint my toe nails. First time using new fake tan, hope it's not streaky! I know it's sunny out but after being ill I was white as a sheet and thought I could do with a head start!

Glad you're feeling happier, faith! A bit of sunshine and some pampering time sounds just the thing. Personally I'm sticking with the pale and interesting look for now - never been much of a tanner! Like rollo we've been mostly pottering outside in the garden, and celebrating a friend's 40th (gulp). And watching Eurovision, which should surely have been won by Rulvakia!

Morning all. Not much to report here, except fractionally more wetness than usual. And also, possibly, wetness of a slightly different tint on Friday. Boobs a bit sore, but no more than I've had in recent cycles, I suppose. CD28, innit?

Well last night's gig was disappointing. I was already pissed off as they didn't start until 9 when the tickets said 8.... and they didn't give a reason for it.

Also (and please bear in mind that I am no prude and I have a very, very high threshold for bad language) was it really necessary to have 2 1/2 hours f jokes about cocks, blow jobs, religion bashing and women hating. Rufus Hound just wasn't that funny, but he was quite offensive. The language was absolutely unnecessary... I think I don't mind when swearing is used properly, but when it is a fuck every other word I think it is a bit excessive.

What a shame dor. Did other people find it funny or was it just a bit awkward?

The fake tan has developed into a gentle bronze today so I am pleased with it. Minimal streaking. I don't look TOWIE, just don't look like an extra from Twilight any more!

I'm trying to muster the energy for a run before it gets too hot. I left it too late yesterday and couldn't face running in that heat! Then we need to get cooking for a bbq later.

Sorry the gig was a disappointment, Dor. We used to go and see a lot of stand up but have kind of fallen out of the habit. It can be very good but when it is bad it just makes the audience a bit uncomfortable.

We had a luffly catch up though I did have a wobbly moment and cry when we were talking about how things were going for me. It made her cry too, so I felt very guilty. Bless her she's so worried about upsetting me by talking too much about her pregnancy (20 weeks already , she even told me she wished she could swap places with me which made me cry even more! She has her 20 week scan (a bit late!) coming up this week, so I've made her promise to tell me how it goes.
They've decided to find out the sex, she has "girl vibes" but we'll see!

Right, I've got an assignment to finish and weeding to do in the garden so best crack on!

I've had a rather nice day. MSB has been feeling rather delicate. Woke and declared he 'drank the bar'! We did have a burst of energy where we moved some boxes home. I felt rather emotional about it! I did some gardening too - at the rented house, preparing to leave - so a bit more vitamin D and fresh air. Just chilling watching Soccer Aid now. Always reminds me of our honeymoon - MSB watched it the day after our wedding while I collapsed in bed, exhausted after 7 hours sleep in two days!

Boobs significantly ouchy on removal of bra just now. Also, I was sick in the middle of last night. But that was because I had drunk too much then eaten late and gone to bed on a full stomach. Still, a BESH can dream.

When did they think you ovulated again?
I've got intense womble cramps and more spotting so just waiting for the inevitable.

Fear not. After burning within 30min at 10am, the run idea was abandoned! When for a leasurely walk around 3pm and burnt a bit more. Maybe need to get something a bit stronger than factor 10...

I'm now 7days late. Poas yesterday bfn. So this is officially just my cycles being shit again. On a positive (sort of) note got to book my first ivf discussion appt yesterday. First available - mid August. Seems v far away..

I hadn't ovulated on 15th but had on 17th, so they are taking 16th as a nominal ovulation date, making today 12dpo. Will see what happens over the next couple of days. I'm not back home (where I have a spare stick) till Friday, so that seems a sensible sort of point to aim for.

Do you know if you ovulated or anything, hils? Or is this a blind sort of cycle. Bastard unpredictable systems.

Blind Norf. I've never really got on with ov sticks, but last few cycles have had appropriate pant snotage around cd21 then droid 14days later, so assumed all well post the op and drugs. this cycle, have to admit I'm not sure. Didn't get the usual ov pains, just occasional twinges, and didn't really have a day that I thought was a goer, but not to the extent that I rules myself out the running.

It's just frustrating. But. With the heat am wearing white knickers and a pale skirt today and just realised that I have a different bag with me and therefore no pads/tampons etc. if the droid is coming, surely she'll come today!

The weekend has passed in a sunny haze :) We went for the first proper cycle ride since broken bones yesterday. Made it to the seaside and it was lovely. Sun and ice cream (and plenty of factor fifty - stern look to sinky).

Hiss boo to missy, bugs. I hope you told her were to go. But yay for general boozyness this weekend.

Although no tassles, my boobs are big and sore enough without anything hanging off them. 12dpo now, no other symptoms, at all. How can I menkul this way? Just hanging in there, behind norf. Had an irrational urge to test this morning, but have sterny talked to myself. My unfaltering LF of 13 days will let me know whether anything has happened, and it is a waste (of nearly out of date cheapy sticks) anyway.

i've never been on a proper holiday before. What the hell do I pack? I don't actually own very many clothes anyway....i've packed two skirts (one long one short), three vest tops, one long sleeved, one t-shirt. Enough underwear for the week and some socks (just in case, I do get cold feet). My swimming cossie has gone in. Two long sleeve linen tops.
NO fancy dress. It feels odd packing and not putting in fancy dress.
I bought some linen trousers which I'm going to wear to travel in.
Am staying with a friend, so will have facilites to do laundry. I don't really want to overpack.
And do I pack a pee-stick or not? I will be due on second to last day of holiday. Do I take one to do while I'm there or wait until I get home?
