The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

Grin at the hamster for company faif. I'd prefer a cat! How are things dot? Are you growing a baby belly?

For your information I don't need war paint of any type if SB has been away for a few days...

Fingers crossed it is just a morning pee stick cave! And your stud will be home tonight. Norf Grin at Frankel.

Much as I hate it when people say it to me (24 months down the line), if you've not been TTC long I'd say relax alwyn. There is plenty of time for obsessing and peeing on sticks and temping and tracking scans if it would be needed. I got on okay with IC O-sticks but got v stressed by them. I clearly am not a stud Wink...

HaveALittleFaith · 15/06/2012 08:30

Yes hamster was a rubbish baybee substitute drizzly! No cats in our house. Think I'd really like a rabbit....
cavester I'd go by this aftternoon's test, if no temp bump I reckon it's prime mating season Grin
Is it home time yet?

FriendofDorothy · 15/06/2012 08:34

The cat in question was not in my good books when I walked downstairs to find a sacrificial offering - I think he has realised his food comes from me for the next fortnight. There were guts and feathers spread throughout the hallway and dining room.

I am not so much growing a baby belly yet as I am already quite fat. Instead of having a nice bump my fatness seems to be solidifying. I had a weird moment when I was poking my abdomen the other day and realised it wasn't soft and squidgy but it was firm like an over-inflated balloon. i was convinced I had a tumour until someone told me it was uterus poking of my pubic bone. Very weird feelign tho.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 15/06/2012 08:41

No cats here either faif. The house is too small and SB does not like them Confused but I'd settle for a baybee.

Btw dot [grin at your thought that your baby bump (even if well camouflaged!) was a tumour. But ugh for offerings in the morning. Out cats as kids always used to do that, and I distinctly remember threading on a dead mouse in the morning before school. Not my favourite part of the day. But maybe you can leave it for the Mister to deal with!

Ooh burny bugs! I'm not a fan of the fiery stuff like horseradish myself. Have a vivid memory my ex most significant relationship of my twenties buying me a three pack of sarnies - tuna mayo, beef and horseradish, ham and mustard. I only ate the tuna Confused. He did not know me well!
I'm a bit glum today. Pained and sad about missing the ball tomorrow. Right call though. Come round to my sisters to watch the footie, warm welcome from DNephew :) who is insisting he wants soup not fish fingers and chips!

Funnily enough when they were put in front of him he said I want chippies and fish fingers! :) We actually have them every so often. I can get free from at Tesco. Never ate them since I was a student but missed them when I couldn't have them!!

FriendofDorothy · 15/06/2012 19:58

Evening all. I have spent the afternoon being the Greatest Auntie in the World and looking after my niece and nephew whilst my sister and the twat go to a wedding. I don't know what they fuss about. The kids have been a piece of cake!

queenrollo · 15/06/2012 21:40

I have a scan on Monday. Little bit nervous.

HaveALittleFaith · 15/06/2012 22:02

Do you still feel diffed queenie?

queenrollo · 16/06/2012 09:35

I don't feel any more diffed but the symptoms I do have are still there. It's more that I'm really hoping this isn't ectopic....

HaveALittleFaith · 16/06/2012 13:56

I'm hoping too luffly! The think the fact you feel the same is encouraging
I'm well proud of myself. I was up early to get my eyebrows done (simply can't manage the unruly things myself), walked there and the long way home to get some exercise and have sorted my bedroom - friends on t'other place can see before and after pics! Unpacked about six boxes and it looks brilliant! Grin time for a sit down and a cuppa!

I'm nervous but potentially excited for you both!
I designed those wardrobes and had them made :) I was so happy when I knew they were ok! Nice to have that much space so it's not too cramped. I feel better for getting it done!
In TTC terms I'm about 7dpo and getting buckets of creamy pant snot. Unsure if that's significant?!

I'm not too menkul since using OPKs. Gives me a sense of control without fuelling obsession. Just keep seeing it when wiping and thinking gosh! I've had too many disappontments to get too hyped up. Does worry me that my pains might actually be gynae. Nothing showed on HSG but that's almost a year ago now and pain started in March. Ah well, will distract myself with ironing and '10 years younger'!

Northey · 17/06/2012 08:53

Sounds interesting, faith. I had excessive pant snot last time and all. Anything else going on, eg in the boob area?

Good luck to rolypoly and bugs for scans this week.

Based on last cycle, I should be ovulating this weekend, but I have no bastard symptoms of it at all! I have generally had sensitive nipples, but nothing at the moment. And AMNH has come down specially for emergency sechsing. Gah. I hope it wasn't earlier this cycle, with that random pant snot day. Will try to fit in another shag this morning, before he heads off.

What are we all up to today?

eurochick · 17/06/2012 09:12

Morning ladies BESH,

How are we all?

Faith we are cycle buddies. I'm also 8dpo today. I am also getting lots of creamy pant snot. And I have very swollen and tender buzzwams.

I had a really vivid dream last night that I got a surprise BFP. I tested this morning (super early but as I start the IVF drugs today I was planning to anyway) - BFN, of course. So I get injecting later.

I'd better stop MNing now and get baking. I'm making a cake for my dad for Father's Day.

HaveALittleFaith · 17/06/2012 09:14

Actually norf buzzwams feel a bit bigger and heavier but not very tender like normal. Ah well who knows?

Frustrating about the unclear signs norf. What day was the pant snot? Wednesday? Mine usually comes a couple of days before I lay my egg so maybe you hit the right time anyway?

Today DSis has booked a meal for Father's day so we're off for that. I can't get to my church service and back in that time so I'm going to see if I can go with Dad- his is opposite the pub we're going to. Then quiet afternoon before a meeting about the youth group we run to explain hue it's been a disaster with the fire and then me being ill!

Northey · 17/06/2012 09:53

How are you feeling about injections, euro? Good luck.

Also, what cake are you making?

HaveALittleFaith · 17/06/2012 10:02

Oh didn't realised we'd x-posts! Quite nice to have a cycle buddy good job we're online since I'm holding three hands now I did a quick squeeze of the buzzwams, they are tender.

Mmm save me a slice of cake euro!

Northey · 17/06/2012 10:35

And me. In fact, better just make two.
