The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

Oh I have broadband by the way Grin

Question: should I drop the 'baby' form my NN and assuming I can, become HaveALittleFaith?

alwyn · 12/06/2012 19:23

It is v quiet in here.

And why not indeed?

Northey · 12/06/2012 20:11

I see no reason why you shouldn't.

I think I have pant snot for the first time in about 10 years.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 12/06/2012 20:24

Whoop whoop for the pant snot norf!

Think I might do it, if only for a while.

I have been in bed for half an hour already. Yum :)

Northey · 12/06/2012 20:29

You can always change it back again if you don't take to it.

Is my pant snot here too soon? I don't see AMNH till the weekend. I have nothing to measure this by.

HaveALittleFaith · 12/06/2012 20:47

I feel a little nekkid. Like I'm out in a bikini... Hmm

Difficult to say with the pant snot....mine varies. At times I don't see any pant snot. This cycle I've had 5 days, so on that time scale, you would be ok! All you can do is jump on a train Friday and have him on standby! Wink

queenrollo · 12/06/2012 22:02

I went and sat with HOLB for a cuddle a little while ago .......and burst into tears for absolutely no reason. Just sat and sobbed.

That'll be your hormones + anxiety = weepy queenie. Tis ok. Tis allowed luffly

alwyn · 12/06/2012 22:26

I've had my first reflexology session today. Apparently if I ovulate this month it will be from my right ovary 0.o

Northey · 12/06/2012 22:28

Is "0.o" meant to be your ovaries, al?

eurochick · 12/06/2012 22:56

That's exciting. My magic baby laydee doesn't tell me anything, but just does her thing.

Were you zonked afterwards? The first session totally knocked me out. The second one wasn't as bad.

alwyn · 12/06/2012 23:10

Just a confused face norf

And yes euro, am absolutely cream crackered!!!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/06/2012 07:17

Morning Rulvakians!

After a prolonged absence from our easter shores (does Rulvakia have a coastline - I vote for one like the Croatian one) in the land of Fooball, Clinics and Work, I have come back to rest and recuperate...

I missed another DIFF Shock congratulations rolly that is fab news. And massive cluster-diffing. Yay for new blood, we'd be very quiet soon, without it. Welcome al and sorry despite spending most of last night catching up I cannot recall more than you thinking we are normal and quite young for a BESH Envy

Sorry you keep on being poorly faif, you need to get seen and fixed. Very impressed with the SWI persistence. We're in not shagweek, with pant snot and everything, but SB is not here. Hold off egg... And yours too norf. Well done on first day at work!

I want a foot massage, even if it is woo. Glad it makes you feel so spaced and happy euro and wyn. Fingers crossed for last chance diffing, euro. Do you test before starting down-regging?

Contemplating pushing for a lap&dye to exclude endo and sneaky little adhesions, but not looking forward to it. Any ideas?

Northey · 13/06/2012 07:32

lemonista! You have been missed. I quite enjoyed my lap&dye. But then I was having ovarian drilling as well, so could get excited about something practical rather than something exploratory, of you see what I mean. It didn't hurt afterwards at all. The only thing I disliked wa having to clean the wounds (which is a melodramatic way of saying "dab the tiny, utterly non-gory cut with wet cotton wool"). I got AMNH to do it for me, because I was a massive nancy squeamish.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/06/2012 07:47

Thanks nance for your take on lap... I would be excited if there was something TO DO about something. But this is the thing with unexplained, they have no idea why we're not diffed. So the chances are, they'll have a look and say that looks lovely and dandy, like every other bit of my body they've had a look at. Except trombocytes (sp?) - apparently I have to many of them. But not so many we should be worried - so I worry about that. But dr Google only helpfully suggests nasty forms of leukemia if I had many, many more than I have

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/06/2012 07:48

Btw I missed you lot too. But over the weekend things were so fast moving here, every time I looked there was a whole new page of stuff to read and I never quite got to the end.

Home alone now, though, although officially working from home I shall be here on and off.

Northey · 13/06/2012 07:58

Some people say it cleans the tubes out. Though in my case considering I got diffed a couple of weeks later IN MY TUBE, I don't necessarily place much faith in that.

CaveMum · 13/06/2012 08:14

Morning fellow citizens. Welcome back lemony.

Day 32 and still no ov [wails]. Bloody bored of this now. Have to phone the clinic for my blood results today (we all know what they will say) so will ask for advice. My only glimmer of hope is that I ov'd on CD39 last cycle.

[sulks]

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/06/2012 08:22

SB places hopes on cleaning out of tubes, because we had a bit of a late droid after the HSG, which he still things was a chemical diff. I don't because I only tested after a few days, BFN and droidal invasion within 24 hours...

GRRR, cave shall I yell at your ovaries. It sounds like they could do with a kicking.

HaveALittleFaith · 13/06/2012 08:32

Welcome back lems, twas rather quiet without you. Glad you had a fun, if busy, weekend. Having had one suspected by me chemical pregnancy, I'd say it's rather a hollow victory and not really something to use a measure for useful investigations! But if a lap and dye reveals answers, it might be helpful.
Wish me luck, I'm about to call the GP.

FriendofDorothy · 13/06/2012 08:33

I got diffed the month after I had my tubes cleared. Could be coincidence. Could be the Clomid. I'll never know.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/06/2012 08:40

Good luck naked faith you can do it. They REALLY need to sort you out, it has been way too long. GRRR (I am in a bad mood, so errant GPs, droids, others, send them this way and I'll show them who is boss Wink)

Aha dor I forgot, you had a HSG and clomid? We're talking about superovulation IUI (with injectables) or IVF after the lap... Although I am not sure how much of a help it all will be. I am a bit down about the whole TTC thing. Maybe we could have a comedy win (SB is away and it is shagweek now+I have a new job=instadiff?)

HaveALittleFaith · 13/06/2012 09:01

Grr bloody GP only releasing pm appointments at 12, like you're meant to drop everything at 12 to call them again. I am between two meetings. May have outside chance if I call just before 12! Otherwise I'm off to the walk in centre. What a ridiculous system!
When is your next appointment to disusd options lemmypie?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/06/2012 09:18

Ready to come over now and knock some sense into that surgery, faith. That is STUPID. Did you mention that you're a) at work and b) have been in pain on and off for months now. GRRRRRRRRRRR

Appointment was on Monday, but it made me more unsure rather than happy. The problem with unexplained really is the unexplainedness of it all Wink. Must now decide what to do (sign up for lap or not, basically).

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/06/2012 09:19

PS I have made an important appointment for work, opened the relevant bits and pieces on the lap top and done the laundry. A typical home working start of today...
