The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

Try not to panic. You are still getting BFPs. Hang in there.

I am aching, a lot! But the rented house is almost empty and almost clean - no oomph for living room and kitchen so I'll get that done one evening. At least my kitchen and living room are home now :)

KatAndKit · 05/06/2012 18:53

put those sticks down!

Sensible plans bugs. I'm sure there's desire to keep seeing positive pee sticks but like you say, you are diffed. Hang tight til the scan.

I did indeed have a hot bath and hair wash. 'twas luffly. Early night on the cards for me!

FriendofDorothy · 05/06/2012 20:59

I have to admit that the tests I did were quite dark but the first test I did was 16DPO. I used the Boots own brand jobbies as I couldnt be bothered to wait for an internet cheapie to arrive and we don't have any other cheap shops over here.

Not sure that has been that helpful has it?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 06/06/2012 08:15

Early morning slap with a plaice for bugs. See that made you feel sick, proof you are diffed. The plan is sensible, so just beg for that early scan! And otherwise feel free to menkul, here or elsewhere.

Massive well done to faif for the moving. Did you sleep well last night? MSB back must have helped... You mentioned about feeling optimistic, so do I (for no good reason after 3 failed iuis - it might be the month off) so hurrah for that.

How are you doing laura? And dot how are things now?

FriendofDorothy · 06/06/2012 08:41

Things have settled down now (thankfully!). I just feel like I have been run over by a bus for the majority of the day and then I can't sleep at night.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 06/06/2012 08:48

Great that things have settled, dor. Although less great to feel so rough. Are you past 12-weeks yet? Hope you will feel better in a bit. And if not, I think I know you well enough that you'll cope with it ok. You've waited long enough for this win!

FriendofDorothy · 06/06/2012 08:51

I am 12+3 today. I feel ok... I could just sleep today and I seriously don't want to be at work in any way shape or form!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/06/2012 08:55

Yes sleeping well though I did dream I got a smiley on a opk, obsessed with ttc much?! Tis good to have MSB back. Lots of cleaning and furniture moving has made me physically tired too which I've not had much of since I was ill. Still got the pain but it's down to a dull ache I can manage with paracetamol.
Yes I think a break does the power of good Lems. When it's been month after month for a couple of years just having the sechs when you feel like it is luffly.
Glad to hear things have settled dor. Hopefully you'll start getting more energy soon and start enjoying being diffed rather than just feeling exhausted. My friend said she really enjoyed her second trimester for that reason.

Nothing since 8.55am?! Did everyone else have a really busy day at work too?!
My pant snot says go but no smiley yet. Reckon it might be tomorrow.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 06/06/2012 18:56

X posts bugs. Did you say yah a lot?!

eurochick · 06/06/2012 18:59

Yes, busy day here. Had new fertility woo (reflexology) at lunchtime and have spent the day dealing with the fallout from losing a HUGE case. It'll probably hit the legal press tonight so there will be even more fallout tomorrow. I wasn't leading it so I am not incurring the client's wrath but it's still not pleasant to lose. We thought this one was in the bag too and just a question of how much we won rather than whether or not we won, so this has come as a big shock to the whole team.

Sorry to hear you lost a case euro. I guess it's no fun dealing with the fallout. Not a world I know much about really, only ever done house paperwork.

I commenced the first part of the plan as suggest bugs! Otherwise been a productive night here. MSB Got the cupboard in the hall racked out and the freezer is in. I even labelled the drawers how sad but it is all neat and tidy which I like :) unpacked a few more boxes. Slow and steady! My lower back is very achey so I need to be careful!

Morning fellow Rulvakians!

Sorry about the rough day at work, euro. And good luck with coping today, glad you are not in the lead though... How is the ivf-ing going? Just the pill at the moment?

Well done faif on the insurance shag. Another one tonight and you'll be nicely covered. I am sure you have not christened all the rooms in the house yet Wink

How are the menkullers doing? Anyone needing more slaps? Thinking of you two/three.

Last night I managed a little run before amazing dinner cooking. Sadly SB was miserable about work, not sure how to deal with that. Had a long chat with my mum about ttc related worries, it took the parents 6 years to have their first baby. She swears by counselling - but then IVF etc had not yet been invented in their day and age. Not sure I am keen, I have no idea what I would talk to a counsellor about (except how to deal with lethargic miserable SB, but that thankfully is a rare occasion).

Myabe I should get my bottom out of the house and do some work...

HRHCavey · 07/06/2012 08:09

Greetings comrades! Apologies for absence, I have been checking in on you all but just haven't had time to post.

Faith, so glad you are back in the house. It must be a real weight off your shoulders.

Day 26 here and still no ov. Shag Dictator is still reading "high" and the OPKs are gradually getting darker. I'm hoping it'll be sometime this weekend, we've done the sechs every day since last Friday, so it is getting somewhat repetitive and sore Blush

How are our differs doing this morning?

ShredniVashtar · 07/06/2012 08:16

Morning all! Permission to slap me with a haddock granted. It's cd 31 here - cycles are normally 29 or 30 days. Have had brown spotting for last 3 days. Bfn every morning for last 5 days but temps still high. In fact I'm confused about the temping - took it at about 6.10, and then straight back to sleep; retook it an hour later, by which point it was .2 degrees higher! Which should I take don't say the first one ?

lemon sorry SB is feeling low. Like you, my mum suggested I talk to a counsellor - well, actually a vicar - after the ectopic, but I resisted fiercely. Don't quite know why, but it might be worth considering. It's good to have an outlet but maybe a professional can coach you through stuff?

euro, good luck with the work stuff, and faith, well done on the shagging!
