The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

Menkul away! Is it too tubey to be implantation?

Sortig out my childhood junk at my parents', I have just found and binned some contraceptive pessaries from 1999. Blee.

Northey · 30/05/2012 22:19

Oh. And blood appears to be returning :( In browny red form. I really do think this is it now.

ShredniVashtar · 30/05/2012 22:41

Bah! Stoopid fecking droid. Well good news in a way if it means your cycles are getting shorter. And tomorrow will be cd1 so you can think of it as a fresh start

Northey · 30/05/2012 22:48

I don't want a fresh start! I want a baybee!

I just can't believe it. It's just taking so fucking long. What is even the point?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/05/2012 23:03

Point is, although the clomid didn't win you a baybee this time, it did make you lay an egg and you had a cycle under 200 days long. Which is good. Although rubbish that you're not diffed. I feel the same - like if all the fertility ishoos are fixed with us, why am I not diffed yet again?! Come on, let's snuggle in the corner and drink gin cocktails.
Blimey it's 11pm. I really should go to sleep.

Northey · 30/05/2012 23:22

That's exactly it! I ovulated. I had sex with a man with approved swimmers. How can the two not have resulted in a baybee?

Northey · 30/05/2012 23:23

Sorry fee, I drooled on your consoling buzzwam.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/05/2012 07:04

Well the buzzwams are still pretty magnificent at the moment. I feel like that especially using the opk. I do feel better for counting it as cycle 5 though. It sits quite well.
I'm so shattered now but I've got tomorrow off so 5 day weekend! Imagine a lie in at home together :)

Northey · 31/05/2012 07:18

I have today off as well. I shall use it to sleep and talk firmly to my ovaries. "this is not the sort of behaviour we expect from Rulvakian ovaries."

Northey · 31/05/2012 07:40

God, I'm sorry to be so me me me me me me at the moment, but I have a question for cavey / anyone else who has taken Clomid. Did it alter your periods? This is very light and weird this morning. More spotting than anything else. It's only on paper and not reaching knickers. Do I count this as a proper day of period for Clomid purposes?

Now I've said all that I daresay it will all start gushing uncontrollably within the next hour.

CaveMum · 31/05/2012 08:08

My periods were always very weird when I was on the Pill so I can't comment on whether or not the Clomid has made a difference! For me they are now heavier and last longer, but like I said that could be normal for me.

As far as counting days go I'd hang on a bit longer and see if it gets any heavier. Give it till lunchtime, if it hasn't got any heavier by then then don't count today as Day 1

Oh and don't worry about the me me me - we all do it and it's totally understandable.

Still getting a "high" on the shag dictator this morning and the cheapy OPK line is getting darker, though not as dark as the control line, so ov today looks unlikely. Just hoping tht I can hang on another 36 hours! [ties knot in tubes]

eurochick · 31/05/2012 10:54

Norfy my periods on Letrozole were normal. The drugs only messed with cycle length for me (and my moods).

I don't think spotting counts as day 1. It needs to be in full flow to count.

Northey · 31/05/2012 11:17

Oh well, it's immaterial now anyway, as things are in full and permanent flow.

Oh well. At least I ovulated. And 32 days is really a quite normal cycle, so, you know, it's not all bad.

At least you know the lowest dose of Clomid works for you Norf, though I know that's not very comforting.

My BF had her 20 week scan today and she's having a boy Grin

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/05/2012 18:47

Boo hoo not sleeping at home tonight, it's all got a bit much. I had to work on the ward today despite boss agreeing last week that he wouldn't ask me too! and I've come home exhausted. We've agreed there's massive rush. We'll do more tomorrow, I'll finish packing and cleaning over the weekend and we'll do the last push Monday when he gets back.
Currently in Asda Living where he is trying on clothes and we'll hopefully buy a fridge.
There's definitely a silver lining norf, it's just tough to see anything positive on cd1.

Right I have finally been proactive. After losing my mooncup and ICs in the fire, I never got round to ordering any more secretly hoping I wouldn't need them and tonight I have. This is it. I'm going to be more proactive from now on! Rah!

Internet cheapies, I think?

Northey · 31/05/2012 21:50

Am watching How I Met Your Mother to distract me from CD1 woe. Will see AMNH tomorrow, for soothing cuddles. In theory at least. In reality it will probably be him whinging about how tired he is and finally remembering to ask how I am about 4 hours later.
