The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia

Welcome to The BESH Republic Of Rulvakia. The national drink is of course gin, state funded to get you into a state. We have many traditions and customs, such as sechsing, swearing for the fun of it (optional) and urinating on little white sticks.
Enemy of the state is Droid, who must be heckled heartily should it put in an appearance. There is an ongoing lottery to win a baybee, being granted citizenship of The Republic is your ticket to the lottery.

As a democracy all members are entitled to put forward any customs or rules they would like and we can all adopt important but silly titles if we like. See the George Carlin sketch about hats and religion and make your own mind up about whether you would like a ceremonial hat to accompany whichever title/role you bestow upon yourself.

Newcomers should find and complete the BESHtionnaire so we can make sure you are cynical and non-fluffy enough to be granted Citizenship.

Don't say that, lem. If its not over for me, it's not over for you.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 30/05/2012 09:11

But it is brown, norf not pink... Never have had pink Envy

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/05/2012 09:35

Will you find out dor or have a surprise? I just looked at the pic and thought boy!
:( for lem. Then again brown can be old and not necessarily a bad thing?! Unlike my torrents of red Angry yuck. Time for a cuppa methinks,

eurochick · 30/05/2012 10:13

Well done on the job Norfy.

And well done on the run, Bugs. The first one after a break is always the hardest so the worst is over now.

How exciting to be announcing it dor.

Talking of dreams, I had the most bizarre dream last night. It was very vivid. I was arrested and questioned, but I can't remember what for now. I obviously have a guilty conscience about something!

FriendofDorothy · 30/05/2012 10:46

I think I will find out. I am not sure I will be able to be so patient!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 30/05/2012 11:30

Congrats on being out in the open dor - wonderful day dreams, indeed. I had weird dreams too euro, but I always do this part of the cycle. But what are you feeling guilty about?!?

Massive well done to bugs for running, I've had some time off recently, due to the lovely weather. But I shall get back into it. I have the join a gym (with summer discount) or not dilemma. I have it all the time, last time I considered I fell off my bike and broke bones, so I had the dilemma resolved for me. This time I am in two minds. I prefer outdoor exercise. But the weather ain't going to last...

Sorry about the bright red deluge faif. Onto proper cycle 5 (I messed up my formers and latters last night. Fingers crossed for you. We're having a month off if this is indeed the special driodal forces fore warning me of the imminent attack... Time to regroup, relax and have a natural go for a change.

I'd go Bugs. They might argue that the MC resets the clock, but I definitely think it is worth trying to get the ball rolling.

CaveMum · 30/05/2012 13:49

Second the trip to the Docs Bugs, if nothing else you get yourself on the system.

HWHNN can't come back tonight - boo! He has an early meeting tomorrow morning and can't risk not getting back in time [sulks]. Thankfully I'm not exhibiting any other egg laying signs yet, so here's hoping I can hang on till the weekend and go with the "carpet bombing" approach.

In good news, my free Royal Ascot tickets have arrived Grin I'm going on the first day as Frankel runs in the first race.
I'm sure I've said before, but I've promised myself I'll go wherever he runs in this country this year. Horse of a lifetime!

Northey · 30/05/2012 13:50

I would go back anyway, bugsy. I was told six months after ectopic, bearing in mind previous difficulties.

Northey · 30/05/2012 13:52

cavey lo-oves Frankel, cavey lo-oves Frankel.

CaveMum · 30/05/2012 14:49

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/05/2012 17:46

I'd go too bugs. What fanjo/swimming studies have you had so far?!

I am freaking out a bit. I'm sitting at home - proper home- the carpets are in, we're moving in boxes. Just waiting for MSB and last load of the night. It's so weird. It looks like home but then again it doesn't too clean I'm sure it'll be good with furniture. It's just very strange Confused

Ascot? Marvellous cavey --beastiality
aside--

Northey · 30/05/2012 18:41

Yay for being at home and alive and everything clean! It will feel better when your stuff is in, you are right.

Northey · 30/05/2012 18:53

In other news, I have had an instance of bright red blood and worse cramps. So I guess that is it. Now need to decide whether to count today or tomorrow CD1 for Clomid-popping purposes.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/05/2012 19:46

Remember cavey's rule - its not cd1 if it starts after 3pm. Sorry to hear it looks like its over for this cycle :( short though, yes?

I'm back at the rental house, bout to have tea and then finish stuffing crap in boxes packing. Very weird but exciting!

queenrollo · 30/05/2012 19:54

right girls. HOLB has bought me the most gorgeous shoes for night time outings in Barcelona. They were expensive I might never take them off.
Last minute packing here, and we're off about 9am tomorrow to catch the first of many trains. May be too busy to get on in the morning so will say ta-ra now! See you all in a week
xx

Tomorrow is Day 1 Norf, definitely Sad Sorry you are out.

Faith, exciting about the house! Do you have an official moving in date?

Enjoy the holiday Rollo, and the shoes Envy I bought some lovely wedges in M&S last week and wore them today - they've given me blisters [ouch]

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/05/2012 21:12

cavemeister the date is....31st May!!! Just packing up the last bits while watching Honey I shrunk the kids - retro classic! MSB needs to borrow the big van from work tomorrow night and bil will help with the heavy/bug stuff like washing machine, sofa, bed! MSB is off work tomorrow so he'll have time to put our bed (pine frame) and other stuff together.

queenie have a fabulous time and enjoy wearing your shoes!! :)

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/05/2012 21:15

X posts bugs. WW was just like Little Britain! Yes then definitely time for you to liaise with your doc. Here's hoping for an fufc bfp :)

Northey · 30/05/2012 21:30

Slimming World, bugs?! You are flaming sylph-like! Good luck with it, though. I really need to get to grips with my weight again. I am going to go properly PCOS-friendly this cycle -totally low GI/GL/whatever it's meant to be.

Woo for holidays and shoes, roly. It sounds a-may-zing!

Blood has retreated again. Nothing at all on last two wipes

CaveMum · 30/05/2012 21:36

Is it worth POASing in the morning Norf? Sounds very odd.

FriendofDorothy · 30/05/2012 21:38

The SW meeting I went to were quite like Little Britain's Fat Fighters. They were fucking hilarious. but I did meet an awesome bunch of people there!

ShredniVashtar · 30/05/2012 21:38

Oh northey, you poor menkul one! Deep breaths, and just think in a few days time you will know one way or the other.

faith good luck with the rest of the move. Will be lovely when you're settled in your own place again.

Arf at WW and SL being like sketch shows. I have just broken my low/ no sugar diet in spectacular fashion by eating a Magnum. Yum! Had a long time of being dairy intolerant so every ice cream feels like a massive treat. CD 22 here and although I don't feel diffed, I do keep having odd tubular pains - the sort I usually get around ov. Is this a new symptom to menkul about?
