Right I'm going to be bold and start a new thread to drum up some energy for anyone ttc a Jan / Feb / Spring 2013 baby.

Does anyone want to join me on this flight?

OP posts:
SilentMammoth · 28/04/2012 00:08

Hi Lizard I'll join you here, as it's a bit sad to be lurking on an empty thread waiting to poas by oneself! Rubbish cycle timing of mine! But potential EDD is 8th Jan so reckon it's OK to pop on here.

brings in small pot of hyacinths and kindles fire

Tea?

MummyNickleby · 28/04/2012 07:32

Happy to join you on this flight. I think I'd have a good chance of getting a Valentines baby if we manage to conceive! That'd be fun... I'll do anything to get a decent set of roses from tesco a florist!!

blackcatsdancing · 28/04/2012 08:01

i'll join. February is a good time to have a birthday- not so great on the chances of having an outdoor party but everyone is around, and when you get older it breaks up the horrid long winter with something to celebrate (my birthday is mid feb). i'm cd3, just had some tests done and hoping all is ok.

blackcatsdancing · 28/04/2012 08:08

can i bring some books along? I have a stack of cookery books from the library i've yet to browse through- mostly baking ones to drool over.

SilentMammoth · 28/04/2012 09:50

Oooh yes, let's have a look
peers annoyingly over blackcats' shoulder

SilentMammoth · 28/04/2012 09:51

Anyone want to start a roll call?

SilentMammoth, 31, TTC#5. Cycle 1. 8dpo but with a 10 day LP.

LimeLeafLizard · 28/04/2012 09:59

Morning everyone! Good to see you.

Mammoth an 8 Jan EDD would be bang on January sales, so perfect. And you could be the first BFP of the thread. Success this cycle would give me an EDD of 16 Jan, so just a little later.

Hello blackcats, lovely to see you, a Feb baby bringing luck to us all, hopefully Smile. Please do bring your books and tell us if you find anything delicious that we should bake!

MummyNick, a Valentines birthday would be great... at least the DC would always be sure of getting cards that day!

CraftyGirly · 28/04/2012 10:00

I'll climb aboard too Smile
TTC1, cycle 2, testing 7th may if no AF, currently in 2ww which is killing me!! Only 9 sleeps to go Grin lol

LimeLeafLizard · 28/04/2012 10:01

Hey Crafty, ooh I could test a day early and waste another £5 be your POAS buddy.

OP posts:
LimeLeafLizard · 28/04/2012 10:12

MummyNick I've just read your post on the old thread. I can understand why those symptoms are, put together, making you both concerned and want to get checked out. I really hope for you both that the docs find something fixable and quickly fix it. Its very un-MN, but have a [hug].
I also understand about wanting to put a time limit on TTC... if I'm not pg by the end of the year I will want to re-evaluate becaus it does tend to dominate your life at times.

OP posts:
CraftyGirly · 28/04/2012 11:04

hi lime or I could try and restrain myself until the Tuesday! might be a better idea for me to try that as AF could arrive later in the day on monday and I'll be pissed (literally Grin) if I've wasted a test earlier that day! might wait till AF is ACTUALLY late rather than on the day Wink
it's bloody killing me this 2WW thing, its only my 2nd cycle of TTC so I know its unlikely to happen this quick but once I start a 'project' I like to get on with it and hate all this waiting around! lol
I've got internet cheapies ready for POAS, I'm a bit stingy and could think of better things to pee on that cost £5 lol

blackcatsdancing · 28/04/2012 13:16

hmm i haven't set a time limit as such but given my age its this year or never- unless a surprise comes along as you occasionally hear of , but i'd have to have officially said that's it and stopped charting and stopped taking the shedload of vitamins i currently am and found something else to act as a substitute . I find the fact that it does tend to dominate a bit of a problem. I keep it all from DP now as he was devastated by the MC and can't really cope with it all over again (the waiting mainly, its always the waiting, to see if you're pregnant, to get to at least 12 weeks, then relax a bit but never totally until after the birth). I may even start running again this month, I stopped when i got pregnant for various silly reasons and would like to start to help keep weight in check (and allow me to eat some more of those cakes without getting bigger). At work now or i'd browse through and tempt you all with some, there are savoury things too for those without a sweet tooth.

Pipbin · 28/04/2012 13:35

Hello ladies.
This is the flight for me now as AF is well and truly here.
Pipbin 37 ttc#1 cycle 10 AF due 31st May

LimeLeafLizard · 28/04/2012 13:57

Crafty that would be more sensible... but when the time comes, sensible tends to go out the window! Lets see how long we can hold out...

blackcats, its understandable that you're both hurt and need to be kind to yourselves and one another. I also try to avoid discussing too much with DH. He asks from time when it is shag week (!) but that is about it. He does want this, very much, probably like your DH, but doesn't want to hear me obsessing too much.

Pipbin always good to see you. I'm rooting for you this month, truly. [determined Pipbin will be pg by end of May]

lastboxoftampons · 28/04/2012 14:34

Hello everyone, I found you! Can we please make this sleigh an on-the-ground variety? I hate to fly! Grin

blackcat (aside:I mentally sing a little Janet Jackson every time I type that, can't help it! Blush) I totally understand how dominating ttc is - it affects so much in terms of making plans for future, ie what if I'm pregnant then? what if we have a baby then? Etc. but I think I've learned to live life as I would as if we weren't ttc and if we're fortunate enough then we'll work around said baby. Or that's what I'm telling myself I'm doing anyway Wink.

Pip so sorry she's finally here :(

mammoth we are truly 2ww buddies -also 8dpo here with a 10 day LP. Had an episode of really gloopy spotting yesterday -sorry tmi Blush but nothing yet this morning. Though have only been up for about an hour so I don't think it's had time to shimmy down yet Hmm

Hello lime think you are the voice of reason on this thread Smile

Nice high temp this morning but didn't sleep particularly well last night as my parents are away for the weekend and DS and I had to spend the night alone in their big (well, big for someone who lives in a 2 bed London flat!) detached suburban woodland house! So slept most of night with light and tv on! Blush

Pipbin · 28/04/2012 14:37

Thanks Lime. In the nicest way I was hoping not to be here.
My biggest problem is that I don't ov until about day 20 as a rule and DH is knackered by then. He doesn't like to know when it's fertile week as its too much pressure.

lastboxoftampons · 28/04/2012 14:41

Silentmammoth, 31, TTC#5, Cycle 1, 8dpo but with 10 day LP
Limeleaflizard, 36, TTC #4, Cycle 5, AF due 8 May
Pipbin, 37, TTC #1, Cycle 10, AF due 31 May
Lastboxoftampons, 35, TTC #2, Cycle 3, 8dpo with 10 day LP

LimeLeafLizard · 28/04/2012 14:55

Hopefully this month will be easier for you to chart, Pipbin, I'm sure your travel can't have helped last month.

That said I don't want to be discouraging to lastbox - are you still in the US? Don't blame you being nervous alone with LO in big country house. I hate it when DH is away overnight.

OP posts:
LimeLeafLizard · 28/04/2012 14:58

Fine then, no flying this month.

OP posts:
Pipbin · 28/04/2012 15:15

No Lime I don't think the travel helped at all. I was hoping that a relaxing holiday would help, but I think it just threw my cycle out.

Wiggy29 · 28/04/2012 19:46

Hello again, room for another one (lost 7lbs on slimming world of late so I don't need you to budge up quite so much)? Perhaps we could start on the PIMMs if we get some better weather?

Crafty- you soon identical to me, I'm not the most patient person and am not handling the lack of control over this very well.

Blackcat- so sorry to hear about MC and hopefully this is the month for you, I've got extra fingers and toes crossed for you in particular this month

Limeleaf- hello again, if memory serves we tested around the same time last month but like you I'm holding off (or will at least attempt to this month) until I'm late otherwise wait is just too long!

Sooooo

Wiggy 29 (but aged 30) TTC #2 cycle 3 no idea when I ovulate but due May 12th.

So far I've gave up on temping and using OPK this month although yet to have a positive so either they don;t work for me, it's yet to happen or I've been doing something horribly wrong with the them!

SilentMammoth · 28/04/2012 22:40

Oooh, lastbox when are you going to poas? I was quite twingey today whispers maybe implantation??

lastboxoftampons · 28/04/2012 23:49

Oh Mammoth, I won't be testing. I'm already spotting so I'm out this month. If I wasn't I'd probably hold out until 12dpo. What about you!

asianbabe · 29/04/2012 07:06

Hi can I also jump on got a little disheartened after af turned up Sad hoping this will be my month Smile feeling much more positive now and ready to crack on please can someone add me

Asianbabe TTC 3 Cycle 13, Af due 16th May
