May this thread bring us luck and lots of support through the journey of life after the death of our little ones.

Too it took us about 2.5 hours on the train to Edinburgh. We came up 2 years ago, actually at Easter now I think about it when I was pg with Georgie. Loved Edinburgh. Did all the touristy things: the castle, dungeons, tour bus & loved Haggis & Neeps in a great little pub. Oh also went to St Marys close is it?? Xx
Really liked the city. Hotel was great & we got a great deal from Superbreaks was only about £100 each for everything including train travel. Live little weekend breaks like that keeps you going!!! Xx

ciwi · 07/04/2012 12:08

quick check in from me, Cillian is stirring. shakey I am in Liverpool so not far from you x
I have often thought what it would be like to meet you all.
fan I am really praying that this is your month, you really deserve it x

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 07/04/2012 12:31

Mary King's Close, Angel. I've never actually been in there. It's supposed to be the most haunted place in Scotland - a whole street that got bricked up during the plague and all the inhabitants left to die, for those who don't know.

Rue, I can just about locate S London! Grin

Would Manchester be sort of in the middle of us all? Or somewhere further south? How receptive are people to travelling to meet? I could manage Manchester because PIL are in Preston and I could stay there and get the train down.

Fan, have just sent up a little prayer for you.

AngelGeorgie · 07/04/2012 13:53

Arh yes Too very interesting place excellant.,I can get to Manchester is about an hour by train from mine. Only problem I ve got now is time!!! Due to being back at work on Tuesday. However, don t let little old me stop you all from having fun....Confused woe is me!!!!

fanjodisfunction · 07/04/2012 14:55

Thanks girls, I felt funny earlier had a sharp pain in the uterus area, also it kinda went down below too. And now nothing, a little bit of cramping but not enough for me to say AF is on her way. Maybe that was implantation pain? I guess I will have to wait.

Manchester would be a long old trip from here maybe four or five hours by car. Not sure never driven there myself.
Maybe we could do a southern meet and a nothern meet and then when we are all together skype each group lol maybe it will be best to leave it a while what with some of us pregnant and that.

Hello you lovely ladies! I'M BACK!!! Missed you!
Wishing you all a very blessed Easter!
I managed to quick read through this new thread but will have to take some time to go through the previous ones...

How are you all doing?
I'm ok! Very tired, nauseous all day, hungry all the time but gagging at the thought of food... evening sickness Wink but very happy Grin We told DD1 we are having another baby and she know is convinced we are having twins Wink Should be 8 weeks on Monday according to my calculations... Of course DD1 couldn't keep it quiet, so we have told a fair few people already... everyone is very supportive!

blizy · 07/04/2012 22:21

Blue- fantastic news, twins eh? Are you having an early scan? GrinGrin

Bluetinkerbell · 07/04/2012 22:28

AngelGeorgie · 08/04/2012 00:01

Hi Blue fab news. Having a period of absence clearly did the trick!!! Though clearly not abstaining from EVERYTHING!! Brill news xxx
Happy Easter all xxx
Fan how u doing with the temptation of Easter eggs? I ve had 1 so quite happy with that. Wasn t going to deprive myself completely but not pigged out!! Xxx

fanjodisfunction · 08/04/2012 07:44

Yay blue welcome back and congratulations.

angel I've not had any, DH won't let me!

OP posts:
AngelGeorgie · 08/04/2012 08:32

Fan what do u mean he won t let you? Has he hidden some? If Ant tried to tell me what to do I'd tell him to stick it!!!Grin
Mind you I m barely talking to him at the moment ; he's lazy & selfish. Bloody MIL from he'll causing same old problems she's seen Phebs once since shes been born!! Yes once!!! I banned her from the house but 3 x ant has invited her to accompany us to the local park & 3 x she's made crappy excuses!!( dog was I'll, she was I'll & why couldn t we go in the morning when it's better for her!!!) on Friday Ant had another row with her as she told us " we were building a rod for our own backs as we were curtailing to Phoebe's routine & we should install discipline in her" FFS shes 6 months old !!! This is because we said today we ll take Phebs swimming after her 11 o clock bottle then go for a walk. She wanted us to take her for a walk this am instead!!! Bear in mind she doesn t work!!! Ant works full time & so will I next week!!! My mum & dad would travel to the end of the earth at any time to see Phebs . She lives 5 mins away & has a car!! So I told Ant " that's it 3 x she's blown Phebs out she doesn t get another chance" he agreed , then promptly rung her to offer a meet up today. So I ve told him no shes not seeing Phebs now she's had enough chances and he needs to put me & Phebs before his mother. Which he's now agreed. She is one nasty , bitter & twisted old cow. She never rings her son , wgen he rings her she talks about herself only but he jeeps giving her chance after chance saying " she's my mum!!"
However, my mum had a crap mum & she told him " at some point you need to detach yourself as she contributes nothing to your life. You wouldn t put up with this crap from anyone else. She may be your mum but she's crap & totally self obsessed."

He's so weak it's pathetic. So as I m sick to death of this subject seeing as I told her I never wanted to see her again 18 months ago & still it rumbles on I ve told him whatever he does with her us up to her but she no part of Phebs life & I don t want to hear her name mentioned in our house.
Hopefully that's the end of all her crap... The nasty old witch!!!
Anyhow ; happy Easter. Thanks for the rant!!!
Enjoy your eggs all xxxxxxGrinGrin

fanjodisfunction · 08/04/2012 09:31

Lol he has said I made him sound like a twat there. I give myself one chocolate treat a week and I've had it so no easter eggs for me.

angel relationships with mums is a difficult thing, they brought you up you have a bond, so it can be very hard to break that bond. In their relationship ant is obviously the one who has always gone to her and not the other way round. I would not cut her out but I wouldn't ring her any more, she needs to ring you and make an effort. Don't get worked up over it, just leave heram and ant needs to do the same. And when she rants about child care just nod say oh really and then do it your own way. Its hard.
I hope it works out.

No AF as of this morning still going to wait till tomorrow to test.

OP posts:
AngelGeorgie · 08/04/2012 11:35

Arh I see ...1 chocolate treat a week??? How do u survive??? Guess you haven t got a sweet tooth? I ve got a terrible sweet tooth give me chocolate over crisps any day!!!
With regards to MIL from he'll. I never ring her anyhow ... Ants relationship with her us up to him.quite often he ll go & see her & come home raging as he's spent 2 hours being moaned/ whinged or having a go at!!! She's not pleasant to spend time with . She constantly Slavs everyone off including her mum & daughter & she's always falling out with one if not all of them.
She's totally obese, diabetic ( due to being so overweight, cardiac problems etc... ) so all I ll say is she's not in the greatest of health & 65!! So.....
Anyhow , as far as I m concerned she doesn t exsist but just pissed off at Ant as he's bought the subject up again today!!
Right, I ll shut up now!!!
Xxxx

fanjodisfunction · 08/04/2012 11:41

fanjodisfunction · 08/04/2012 17:11

Im scared about testing tomorrow, what if its a BFP! how am I going to cope, and what if its a BFN,

I do feel different, I have been cramping on and off for two days now, and I usually dont start AFs like this, usually its spotting then cramping. The cramping is sometimes a tugging feeling. I feel tired I feel under the weather.

Ok Im going to hide untill tomorrow morning, and then I shall come on here and tell you the result.

CheeseandGherkins · 08/04/2012 20:13

fan fingers crossed, maybe my dream was right! I really hope so x

Mia hugs x

blizy kittens are adorable! We have 3 cats, 2 are only about 9 months and the other nearly 2 years.

angel that sounds incredibly difficult for you and I understand the frustration. Not much advice as things can be strained here at times but hey ho xx

Had to go to hospital with Ella at 11pm last night on the advice of nhs direct. They were going to send an ambulance but we didn't feel that was necessary and so drove there dropping the kids at my parents on the way. She's had a cold for ages and seemed to be struggling with her breathing. Her skin was sucking in under her ribs a bit, not as bad as when she was in scbu but it was noticeable.

Hospital were amazing, saw us as soon as we got there. The receptionist got a nurse right away, we explained the problem and they took us straight through and started assessing her. After the initial obs we waited a little for a dr but that was ok.

Thankfully she was fine, calmed down a lot by then, and they were happy with her. They've said she has silent reflux now though, which has been causing a lot of the coughing and gagging apparently so she's back on the infant gaviscon.

So relieved that she was ok and the dr was lovely, she spoke to a pediatrician to double check and they agreed with her about the reflux. She said it was definitely the right thing to do by taking her in to be seen due to her age and prematurity and that if anything changes or gets worse then to take her right back.

Got back home around 2am when she fed and settled quite quickly, she was exhausted by then! She slept from 2.30 until 9am! Shock so surprised as she usually goes 2-3 hours. I'm thinking that was a one off from being so tired though.

Hope you're all having a good Easter x

Bluetinkerbell · 08/04/2012 20:23

cheese I would like to yes, could make appointment with MW who is lovely btw and ask if she could get me one... the hospital didn't seem to think I needed one...
glad Ella is fine, it is always worrying when they are not well!

CheeseandGherkins · 08/04/2012 20:31

blue could gp refer you or do you have an early pregnancy unit that you could try? Definitely! Was quite scary x
