May this thread bring us luck and lots of support through the journey of life after the death of our little ones.

Have been thinking about you all day, Fan. Has the spotting stopped?

Maia has been having a particularly sicky day today - threw up copiously all over us both this morning. Oh the glamour...She is now asleep in DH's arms looking angelic. Smile

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 19:15

too bless little Maia!
I have stopped spotting, but I'm still cramping and worried as AF starts with spotting. I'm still a bit on edge, so is DH. I suppose this is just the start of our worries for the next nine months. You lot are amazing that you got through it.

Whatevertheweather · 16/04/2012 19:25

Oh Fan it's so flipping hard isn't it. I'm feeling all crampy and paranoid tonight. Part of me knows it's most likely a pocket of trapped wind or something but it's scary! Fx for no more spotting. Perhaps another sofa day tomorrow?

Poor Maia too hope she's feeling a little less sicky now xx

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 19:33

wtw oh hun! I hope your ok? It is so hard, I might just have another sofa day tomorrow - shall see how I feel. I hope your cramping stops.

OP posts:
Whatevertheweather · 16/04/2012 19:40

Hmmm it's sort of a gurgly and twisty pain (hard to describe) - is that trapped wind? Feels like someones twisting my insides around, a bit like contraction pain where it peaks then falls away. Might go and have a bath and see if it eases.

MiaAlexandrasmummy · 16/04/2012 19:42

fan and whatever hope you are feeling better.

Also just feeling totally paranoid and totally un-pg here, despite little bouts of nausea. It is so hard - it is all just a waiting (and worrying) game. Waiting for right moment to ttc, then the tww, then waiting to see if you get a BFP, now waiting for a first scan... and I am not a naturally patient person. Think I might need to find distraction techniques. But it is obviously possible, I'm told that it has been managed perhaps just a few times before this Wink

too and despite your best efforts, do you still smell faintly of Maia's sick? Amazing stuff, how it gets into everything...

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 19:54

wtw I've been getting twisty pains like that, I think its trapped wind and bad bowels, womb or fibroids sitting on mine, could be that the baby is growing and pushing on your
Bowels? Have a bath it always helps to relax.

miasmum hugs to you, the waiting is hell isn't it, all we do is wait and pee on sticks or in bottles untill the baby is here.

fanjodisfunction · 17/04/2012 07:10

Well its started again and this time it was a bit heavier.

OP posts:
Bluetinkerbell · 17/04/2012 07:22

Take it easy! Sofa day again! X

Whatevertheweather · 17/04/2012 07:28

Ah no Fan is it worth ringing epu do you think? Got everything crossed that it's just an innocent bleed xxxx

fanjodisfunction · 17/04/2012 07:39

blue I'm wrapped up on the sofa watching bad american dramas!

wtw I think I hope its just implantation as its oldish blood, I will leave epu there's nothing anyone can do if it is a miscarry.

OP posts:
Whatevertheweather · 17/04/2012 07:58

Think sofa under a duvet might be the place to today Fan am not looking forward to going out in the wind and rain at all! x

Bluetinkerbell · 17/04/2012 08:20

I know how scary it is fan with Sterre I had bleeds between 9 and 12 weeks... I know yours are slightly earlier than that, but still it's terrifying! thinking of you x

I'm tired, it's my day off today so taking it easy too...

DH has left for a job interview! Fx crossed he gets it! we're also buying a new car today, so let's hope the finance for that one goes through smoothly...

RueDeWakening · 17/04/2012 09:36

Fan thinking of you, got everything crossed! If it helps, I had unexplained bleeding from 6-17 weeks when I was PG with my triplets, but they survived that (it was bloody TTTS that got two of them). So don't give up hope.

fanjodisfunction · 17/04/2012 09:42

DH has come home from work and has got the rest of the week off, so we are going to try and chill for the rest of the week, try and get ready for Ophelias birthday next friday. Oh its going to be so tough, I hope this spotting stops and we can have something less to worry about next week.

MiaAlexandrasmummy · 17/04/2012 13:11

fan thinking so much of you today, snuggling with your lovely DH. He is definitely a champion.

blue big congratulations for Mr Blue!!

Whatevertheweather · 17/04/2012 13:36

Yay MrBlue well done Thanks in lieu of anything more manly Smile What will he be doing Blue?

Good on your dh fan he seems so lovely. He must be feeling anxious too. Big hugs to both of you. How are you feeling now? Any more cramping? Mine seems to have gone away today.

Feeling very sad and blue and fed up today. I miss Erin and I want some sort of guarantee that it's all going to be okay this time which I know no-one can give me. And I'd like my friends and family in RL to realise just how bloody hard this is!! Rant over, off to kick myself up the bum and stick on a smile now. Smile

Bluetinkerbell · 17/04/2012 13:39

thanks all! he'll be a delivery driver for Sainsbury's Wink
wondering now whether I need to change suppliers for food shop Grin

Whatevertheweather · 17/04/2012 13:40

Ooh think you get a fair discount for being an employee at sainsburys. About 20% I think

MiaAlexandrasmummy · 17/04/2012 13:58

Blue whatever is right, there is a great discount system for employees, my SIL works there.

whatever you are being amazingly strong. Being pg isn't easy at the best of times, and for people like us, it's even harder. Can you ask your family / friends to stop talking about the baby unless you bring up the topic first, by simply explaining that you do feel very worried, and the pressure of their expectation and excitement is hard to deal with, on top of missing Erin? I am sure they mean well, but it doesn't always help... And yes, that guarantee idea would be a best-seller, I'm sure!!

AngelGeorgie · 17/04/2012 15:12

Congrats Blue & Mr blue xxx
