May this thread bring us luck and lots of support through the journey of life after the death of our little ones.

too I did get through friday ok but I did get a bit upset as I went past a road accident and the paramedics were working on the persons chest on the side of the road, I ended up crying, then a helicopter came down and took the person to hospital, I said a little word to the person as the flew by that I hoped thay were well. Really shook me up, guess the hormones are kicking in. Just saw the aftermarth of a dog getting run over outside of our house, the dog died, any other time I would have gone and helped but I just couldn't handle my emotions at the moment.

Oh Fan, that sucks. I saw a dog get run over once and it was horrible - the dog ran out into the road straight under the wheels of the car in front of us. Sad That's the last thing you need to see atm. I'm sorry Bungle is making you so ill, but Grin at the sore boobs making you feel better!

Miasmum, how are you doing today? Hope you feel a bit more positive.

Have to go walk the dog now before M wakes up - will be back later. Love to all!

Bluetinkerbell · 15/04/2012 16:12

fan yes still sick! :) ah well trying not too whine about it too much, I guess lots of symptoms is good! Little bit on edge cause last year around this time I started to spot... so taking it easy!

Whatevertheweather · 15/04/2012 19:52

Oh please give me strength. Dp is attempting to give up smoking. Today is day 2 and he has been utterly bloody vile all day. I know he's trying to do a good thing thing but dear god do we really have to suffer this much too?! I know how hard it is I was a smoker when I found out I was pg with K. Gave up as soon as I saw the positive test (was unplanned!) yes it was hard but I managed it without being a complete pig and without any patches/tablets. Am hiding out in our bedroom for some peace from his bad tempered ranting!

Hope everyone else has had a better day! x

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 07:35

wtw I hope his quitting gets easier for you sake at least.

I'm freaking this morning, got some brownish pink discharge this morning. I can't handle if this turns out to be another cp! I think I'm going to have to take the day off, I'm not going to be able to work today.

OP posts:
Whatevertheweather · 16/04/2012 07:47

Oh no fan ((hugs)) not what you need at all. I know it's hard not to freak out but lots of women with perfectly healthy pregnancies have some early bleeding. Not going to stop you worrying though I know. Definitely a sofa day for you xx

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 08:00

wtw I had some bleeding with Ophelia so hopefully it will be fine, I've still got pg symptoms. So fx but yeah sofa day for me.

MiaAlexandrasmummy · 16/04/2012 08:18

fan have a quiet day today, thinking of you. x

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 09:08

Thanks ladies, I'm just going to have to wait it out I guess, hopefully its just a bit of spotting and will not come to anything. Last time my cp I spotted in the morning and miscarried in the evening so, just got to wait.

OP posts:
fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 09:15

Ok it seams to have stopped, but I think need hand holding today.

OP posts:
Whatevertheweather · 16/04/2012 09:32

Here for hand holding xx

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 09:34

Thank you. I havnt told DH yet, I don't want him to worry. He comes home at about 2 anyway so I thought it best to wait to tell him then.

I so want this pregnancy to go smoothly. Why do I have to be one who has all the drama!

OP posts:
MiaAlexandrasmummy · 16/04/2012 10:05

Here to hold your other hand too, fan. This uncertainty is so scary, isn't it? I don't feel pg at all, and beginning to think I imagined it...

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 10:19

miasmum when can u have a scan?

OP posts:
MiaAlexandrasmummy · 16/04/2012 10:41

fan With Mia, we had a private scan at 8 weeks, as I had a previous mc, but the doc at the time said that you could have a scan from 6 weeks onwards, as that is when the heart starts beating. He did say 8 weeks is a good time. I am 'technically' 6 weeks today (according to how doctors count from your last period), although I know I am only 4 weeks from my BFP. You are approx a week behind me, I think?

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 10:47

Yeah 5 weeks by doctors count tomorrow.

OP posts:
Whatevertheweather · 16/04/2012 10:50

I had a scan at 8 weeks by my lmp but the scan dated 6+5. We did see a heartbeat just about but I honestly wouldn't want one any earlier as I think it could cause more worry than it solves if you don't see a hb. By my 12 week scan the dates had all caught back up to the original ones going by my lmp

MiaAlexandrasmummy · 16/04/2012 10:50

Forgot to say that I intend to have a scan at 8 weeks again. Can't stand the wait. Also not sure how this pg will be dealt with locally, as I would like to be put under a consultant, given my age, my previous vasa previa, and Mia, but no idea how to influence this decision. Just rang GP for an appt so as to get into the system at least, not sure whether to also ring the community midwife too... they were all told about Mia, but being busy, might have forgotten...

TooImmatureTurtleDoves · 16/04/2012 12:26

Oh Fan, hoping and praying the spotting goes away! How are you feeling now, lovey?

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 12:34

I'm ok I think too no more spotting so far and a few cramps, I'm so hoping its just the baby is just burrowing into the womb more.
How's your Maia?

OP posts:
Bluetinkerbell · 16/04/2012 12:37

oh fan hope the spotting disappears soon! thinking of you!x

AngelGeorgie · 16/04/2012 16:03

Fan I had exactly the same with Phebs to give you hope. Looking back it was implantation & I thought it was all over at the time.
Don t loose hope xxxx bleeding in early pg is quite common xx

Whatevertheweather · 16/04/2012 16:05

How you doing Fan?

fanjodisfunction · 16/04/2012 16:19

angel that's good to know I'm really hoping it is.

wtw I'm ok, its just so uncertain as to if its cp or implatation only time will tell.
