So settle into the mosh pit, we have special VIP area's for those on the 2WW, the new bumps metalling with segregated areas for the first/second/third trimesters and the club class cocktail bar for those who have just got AF and can get-pissed let loose for the first two weeks!

I don't think they'll scan, I only had one on Monday and at 5 weeks there wasn't a lot to see yet! :)

i think i will be going to the wedding as i won't be missing out just because dh is a misery guts!

what excuse am i going to give for him though? should i just say he doesn't like weddings so he will just come to the evening?

i suppose we have only been invited as an after thought anyway so i shouldn't get too hung up on offending my friend. i am going on the hen do as well.

he did this a couple of years ago and after i accepted an invitation was adament that he wouldn't come. even on the day of the wedding he was saying he wasn't going. he did come and really enjoyed himself grrrr.

i know there will be other girls going on their own as they are single but i feel like a tit going to a wedding without my husband.

pebs you could easily say that DH is busy during the day as you'd thought you wee just going in the evening which elaves you free to go for the day and he can join you later on?! Is the wedding soon? I have been to a couple of weddings on my own and it is a bit odd without DH...just make sure you have a good 'reason' for why he's not there as everyone will ask!!

IQ sorry about the lurgy...rest well and hope you're doing ok! I can't seem to work out whether I have it or not...or whether it's just 3rd trimester tiredness and stuffy nose which have caught up with me (I feel exhausted!!)

I had all manner of strange dreams (nothing too weird but a bit strange from what I can remember!) last night which seemed to feature a number of you from this thread that'll teach me for Mnetting just before bed!!

Right...now I'm full of yummy scone, jam and cream I'll do some more work and try and hide the jam stain on my top from where I dropped a piece - do'oh!

pebs i dragged took DH to a wedding he didnt want to go to year ago and he had a right miserable face on him. he is not usually like that but didnt know the couple and i wished i had gone on my own!

Well AF got me this morning its my own fault, we only DTD twice this month, we agreed that was a piss poor effort! Anyway, that means i can drink wine this weekend at the IL's

Scary positive woman has returned. Been to RMC at St Mary's. Scan still looking good, growing as it should. Strong little HB. They are all chirpy and positive so allowing myself to be too. They say as TEG detected and treated chances of success gone from 30% to about 80%. Still we know what it feels like to be in the unlucky 20% so trying to keep my feet on the ground.

I want to sleeeeep....just been for a walk around the block outside to try and wake myself up but the office is just sooo warm as they haven't switched the heating off yet I would be roasting hot without beany bump pumping extra heat into me!! It's only March and I have flip flops and a sleeveless top on which is just silly...and I'm still too hot!

I am only bloody 8+4. Being a metaller I knew from conception so seems like a life time.

the wedding is in about 6 weeks. it sounds more common than i realise then that dh's don't want to go to weddings.

mine always moans like hell about going to them esp. when he doesn't really know anyone. i suppose i can't really blame him in a way but i wish he would come for my benefit. i would put money on it that he is moaning on the day that he isn't coming and what is he going to do all day on his own - men!

i haven't replied to my friends text yet as i was hoping he might change his mind at work today. he rang me earlier but i didn't mention it.

it is weird to go on my own, but i will know people and probably have a better time to be honest!

i am getting very nervous for tomorrow. i keep secretly hoping that something good will happen and there will be a miracle heartbeat on the scan but i know that it a dangerous road to go down as we all know no heartbeat last week makes that very unlikely.

oh pebs i just dont know what to say. i shall hold your hand and have that little bit of hope for you too. x

Afternoon ladies

Long apt at the hospital, basically I have to be scanned at 8 weeks, if all is well I then have to be seen every 2 weeks and scanned every 2 weeks after 20 weeks and weekly bp checks. Apart from that I continue with heparin injections until 6 weeks post birth.
I am exhausted, now back to the hospital for DS1's cf clinic.

what are you taking heparin for tits?

do you take asprin as well?

Pebs I'd defo go alone and get dj to meet u for the evening

Sorry for the tmi but as you know af got me Monday but I've had next to nothing really compared to usual... I'm feeling really quite nauseous and norks are still beyond painful to touch these symps are Both v odd for me.. I've been off the pill since oct and each af had been very samey 3 days on day 1&3 medium with day 2 unbearable norks a little tender for couple of days before af.....This af very different am I panicking over nothing ??? All sorts of worries going on in my head ..... Sorry for the me me

I am taking Fragmin (was Clexain for the last 2) injection once a day because I had a pulmonary embolism in my first pregnancy. It's a preventative thing. Scanning is for growth because I had pre eclampsia

pebs hope it goes ok tomorrow and the docs and nurses are good. My DH is quite introverted but he doesn't get a choice about coming with me to social functions like weddings. (Confirmation I am a bossy boots!)

iq hope you're feeling better, I've had a lurgy and it's been a horrible one, just getting better now.

I had some acupuncture yesterday, and it helped me to sleep better, I do feel a bit more normal today. Hoping that just carrying on as normal will eventually have me feeling normal.

Thanks tas! Am dreading the hospital tomorrow. I have decided I am going to ask for a refferal to st marys and see what they say.

I have text my friend to say dh has taken on a job which will mean working saturdays so he can only come to evening. I think I could have bullied him into coming but what's the point? I am not in the mood for any sulking. My friend hasn't text me back though so maybe I have ruined her seating arrangments by coming alone. Lol.

Hopefully I will be asleep soon then it will be time for hospital. At least the pregnancy symptoms come in handy for something! I have spent 50% of the last week asleep.

When should I poas? How long do people wait after af is due?
