Need some advice - how long was your cycle after mc? Day 40 (40 days since losing the baby) & feel like its never coming back!!!

Thanks mad I'm not quite past my point of mmc yet - Thats tuesday, but I didn't want to book the scan too soon, so I went for 9 weeks, that takes me past my 'danger point' but not so far past that I'm a gibbering wreck by the time I get there!
Glad to hear it's getting easier for you - I imagine getting past the 12 week scan must be a bit of a turning point?

fairy mine was 29 days last time, but 42 the first time - so I guess it varies hugely?

Thanks Kirrin. My cycle was/is irregular untill Metformin kicked in. Stopped taking the met when I found out I was PG. Started retaking Met last week in an effort to kick start my cycle. Just feel very sick today, yesterday felt like period pain but nothing happening!

Frustrating isn't? I used opks in an effort to predict when af would come, but I didn't ov that cycle, and af just rocked up unannounced. It seems there is no pattern to it. Fx'd it turns up soon.

Yes Kirrin, the 12wk scan was a relief, i was dated as 13+2 with mine so a bit further along again. This baby is particularly active i think , didn't stop on scan and I can feel movements alread when I'm lying down quietly. This all helps me feel more settled but I'm convinced I'll jinx myself by telling people (which i have to now), or by thinking about names. that's all nonsense of course but the its the way our brains work unfortunately.

I know what you mean about jinxing things - it gets to the point of obsessive doesn't it? I expect once you've told a few people it'll feel more normal and you'll stop worrying about it so much.

I gave up OPks after day 25 I think. Oh well wait & see! Thank you!

Ugh. I went to the loo earlier and when I wiped there was a small clotty blob, about the size of a 5p piece. No further bleeding, but we're less hopeful. I'm so bored of feeling like this.

Fairy mine came back about 8 weeks after erpc. Had bleeding for two weeks then af came another 6 weeks after that. After my late mc it took twelve long weeks.

I have become a compulsive knicker checker since the very infrequent pains, a couple tonight so far, no sign of bleeding or anything else yet. Still waiting and seeing.

Titsalina I've some infrequent pains too - sort of stabbing pain right in the middle. I'm hoping it's digestive, but it does scare me every time it happens. Frequent knickers checking going on here too :(

GPB & Tits Hope you are managing the metalling. I freak every time any thing like that happens and I send you both huge hugs. I am currently low level mettaling as had some cramps (think more pooh related but then than freaked me out sorry for the TMI!). So many reasons for cramps and spotting lets just hope none of them are sinnister ones. We will ever stop knicker checking do you think? I still freak at every damp patch which as you all know when up duffed is a pretty constant state of affairs!

I was on complete knicker watch last night, and because pregnancy makes me damp I was in the edge of my seat for ages. BUT... No further bleeding, at all. No cramps, at all. And I've finally started to actually feel pregnant; my boobs are really sore, I'm ridiculously thirsty and I felt a bit lightheaded earlier while I was changing a lampshade. So, I've decided to class the blob as 'nothing until proven otherwise'. We have a scan at 7 weeks (and possibly next week as I appear to be under the care of the RMC AND a consultant for high-risk pregnancies in two separate PCTs?) and we won't know anything definitive until then.

GBP, "nothing until proven otherwise" is I think the only way to manage! Great that you have two sources of care at the moment!

I think I have slight mania at the moment. Bleeding seems to be coming to an end, today's day 17 since starting on the rollercoaster of hell. I can't stop poas the ovulation tests and started taking my temp two days ago only to watch it going haywire. Clearly too soon to be hoping to ttc again. But I've been on the net nonstop looking for clues as to how to read my body so I can start again and get back to the nirvana/hell of another pregnancy. I loved being tired and having stupidly sore boobs and waking a gazillion times to wee in the night. Who is this woman who up until last summer wasn't hoping to have a family?

Hi ladies, id like to join you please. Never thought I would find myself on here and not sure I 'belong' on this particular thread as its been 19months since my last mc. I haven't been on mn for such a long time but always prayed I'd get to join a thread like this again. My history is I have pcos and endometriosis, have been on clomid on and off for 7months, have a ds of 6yrs old, been trying for %232 for 5 years now, had 2 miscarriages and have found out I am ph this morning . In total shock, am scared shitless and so happy at the same time. Here's to the next 8 months of knicker checking. Fingers crossed.

I can't sleep, an hours break is all I ask.

I also feel like pants, low level metalling as not constipated anymore. I know this can happen but it is freaking me out as not normal for me. Paranoid midget thinks this is a hormonal shift and therefore bad news. I have been two or three times already today (sorry way TMI). I don't have a stomach upset just before this I was going maybe every 3 days. Anyone else had this and it been ok? For me changes like this have normally been a bad sign Thank god I have a scan on Wednesday as even I can contain my madness for 2 more sleeps. The closer I get to 12 weeks the higher my metalling rate is getting. Not sure it will ever stop to be honest. I could be driving you all mental for the next 7 months (if I am lucky).

I mc the middle of February at 7 weeks, fell pregnant straight after and have just mc again at 4.5 -5 weeks. Bleeding has now stopped and hpt negative again. Feeling totally drained. We have decided to try again this month and see what happens... Don't know if we're being ridiculous or not but fingers crossed!
