TTC on the frontier of polite society . Shoot outs compulsory.

Fee I've done two cycles of Letrozole + immunosuppressants. About to start the third one. We've got our appointment at our IVF clinic later this month so I'll decide then whether or not to do one more after this or give my body a rest for a cycle before moving to IVF.

Northey · 12/02/2012 10:17

Is a rest meant to be a positive thing physically speaking, euro, or is it more a sort of emotional break for yourself?

I dreamt very vividly that I was having my next fertility appointment. Was really hacked off and let down to wake and realise that I sill haven't even got the damned appointment letter through.

OP posts:
eurochick · 12/02/2012 10:52

It's more a break for me. I hate all the side effects. And we plan to go on holiday that cycle and as I think I overstimulated a bit on the cycle just gone I am not convinced about the possibility of that happening again in a developing country. I will probably keep going with the immunosuppressants though, as I will need those through IVF and they have a cumulative effect I think so I might as well get as many into me as I can.

Norfy that must have been very frustrating. I rarely remember my dreams.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 12/02/2012 11:14

A holiday from treatment and life for one cycle sounds like a good plan euro.
norf I feel your frustration. I dreamt a got a bfp three times last night. Each time woke disappointed.

Northey · 12/02/2012 11:45

Sounds sensible, euro. It's all so emotionally draining it's bound to have a beneficial effect just to remove some of the stress from yourself.

Don't seem able to do anything this morning apart from daydream desperately about a win. I feel strangely post-menstrually tearful, and also seem to be cramming carbs into myself as hard as I can go. This bodes well for pre-Clomid weighing. Not to mention fitting into my interview suit.

FriendofDorothy · 12/02/2012 12:04

I have been dreaming about BFPs too. Very strange.

Northey · 12/02/2012 12:14

Everyone seems weirdly in sync at the moment. Hopefully that bodes well for one person to get a bfp and then everyone else to as well.

It's been a while hasn't it? Was it moley, was that the most recent? Anyone know how she is?
I persuaded MSB to take me shopping. Random purchases of a bird feeder and a new lap tray - with a retro VW camper on it. Been going through the unpacked boxes. Been reunited with some stuff like my hairspray and some jewellery. Always good!

Nah I couldn't wait any longer bugs. It's the darned FRER, now I know there's only a 2% chance it was wrong and I am diffed. Probably too soon anyways for all swimmers to have regenerated.
Stealth shagging can be fun to be fair! Wink

KatAndKit · 12/02/2012 16:54

bollocks to the piss stick phee that is most unfair. It is time for a big big clusterdiff about these parts indeed.

moley is doing fine, she has had a good scan and is now enjoying her holibobs.

alps is re-opening her sunroof tomorrow morning. Dunno what we call the CS version of cervix watch. Scalpel watch? V. exciting anyway.

CupOfBrownJoy · 12/02/2012 16:56

Yes, I've been fbing alpine this weekend (we live close by each other)

She seems to be doing well, DC2 arriving tomorrow as kat said Smile

Northey · 12/02/2012 18:11

Are you stick-frittering again tomorrow, phoenix? Or are you going to wait till Tuesday like a sensible non-menkul this time?

OP posts:
PhoenixFromTheFlames · 12/02/2012 18:22

How exciting! Glad to hear moley is well bless her. Can't believe pone is about to POP! Only seems like five minutes ago since her nuptials. I'm anticipating a busy day at work tomorrow but I'll check in whenever I can.
I won't poas again I don't think. The FRER is fairly accurate so if no Droid by Wednesday then I'll retest. Droid has fortunately become more predictable in the last few months as a general rule so I'll know if it's an unusual cycle. I'll be buying internet cheapies for next cycle. Makes life much easier!

FriendofDorothy · 12/02/2012 21:05

OK, this may be TMI but hey ho. I am having the most bizarre period ever. It's a day or so earlier than I expected it and it seems different to usual. Instead of lots of blood I seem to have more mucus than usual. Usually I know exactly how much blood I am losing because I use a mooncup but it just doesn't seem to be 'normal'. It's just bemusing me somewhat.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 12/02/2012 22:13

Er, do you usually have mucous? Might you consider poas - just since it's so unusual?

FriendofDorothy · 12/02/2012 22:42

Nope. Don't usually have it at all. POAS seems a little bizarre as it seems I am having a droidal visitation. Very odd.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 13/02/2012 06:43

As I say, I have a random habit of poas late. It's just I know it'a common for women not to realise they're diffed cos they had a 'weird' Droid when it was due...then find out their six weeks gone not two later down the line.
However, no mistaking Droid has arrived here. Great. Really busy day at work too. Impeccable timing.

FriendofDorothy · 13/02/2012 07:54

Well it's all your fault! I POAS and a BFN. No surprise really. I

also have a stinking cold and a stupidly busy day at work too!

Northey · 13/02/2012 08:10

Ah crap, faith and dorothy. Massive commiserations to you both.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 13/02/2012 08:21

Sorry guys. I'm still droidless, thanks to my nonexistent cycles. Currently day 35. Will give till 40 then crack out the provera. Again.

And next weekend (day40) has 3 of my lovely friends visiting. V excited. Only one has a 6 month old and other 2 diffed. Must not cry.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 13/02/2012 08:23

Just realised post a little me me me.

Self obsessed? Moi?

Please feel free to tell me to arse off...

sinkingflameofhilarity · 13/02/2012 08:29

Oh (are 3 post is a row bad form? Brain's a little slow this morning)

Dor, saw your replying on another thread near the top of te list... Have to say I agree entirely.

Northey · 13/02/2012 08:30

Don't worry flamelet. I am also being masochistic and having a friend with her tiny baybee round later. I made myself do it, as otherwise I avoid people until their children have gone to university and the friendship has effectively died altogether. But I sort of wish I hadn't.

OP posts:
sinkingflameofhilarity · 13/02/2012 08:37

Yup.. Really glad they're coming - I moved a few years back and we really don't see each other enough. But. The 2 diffed includes the one "who knows how I feel" and the other was meant to be coming for moral support, but has only gone and got diffed in meanwhile. Sigh.
