Thanks BESHes. Knowing I can come on here and have a rant really does help!

CaveMum · 10/02/2012 21:24

Sorry about the droid Dor

[kicks droid in the shins for good measure]

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 10/02/2012 21:39

Like just do a 'Am I pregnant?' Title and then say....I want to know!

CupOfBrownJoy · 10/02/2012 21:42

do it, do it!!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 10/02/2012 21:48

Yeah- we can follow and say all the things we ever wanted to say in reply to the usual "I had sex, my teeth itch, could I be pregnant?"

Oh wait. That's what I did on the last forum I used... Maybe you shouldn't listen to me...

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 10/02/2012 22:10

Ah it's tempting but I'd have to name change and there's a chance I might get accused of being a troll again

Northey · 10/02/2012 22:31

Aw you chicken, fifi. Disgrace to the name of cowgirl.

Well howdy northus
The pressure will be back enough come Wednesday if I am Droid)less without having an optimistic audience chanting at me to test! Wink

Well howdy northus
The pressure will be bad enough come Wednesday if I am Droid-less without having an optimistic audience chanting at me to test! Wink

CupOfBrownJoy · 11/02/2012 09:47

I am literally counting the days down for the 2ww. I haven't felt this hopeful or desperate to be updiffed before. No matter how many times I look at FF, the test date isn't changing! Grin

jewelsandbinoculars · 11/02/2012 10:55

s'up pardners. Scan went fine, thanks for asking. Good in fact because no obvious probs with endometrium. Am pretty polycystic in ovary department (but knew that anyway - was checked for suspected PCOS in late teens/early twennies) and did ovulate this month, at least (so fingers crossed).

euro they did want to do an internal, but (without wanting to be massively wussy and uncowgirl about it all) the MMC was diagnosed at a transvaginal, and I just such have horrible memories of that scan that I'm minded to avoid unless the only sensible clinical option. And ultimately she got what she needed from the external, though it took longer, so all well. Also [helpful] cycling actually a good mode of transport for a trop full bladder because feels a bit like really, really crossing your legs. Getting off a tad risky though.

Dor sorry re droid.

Fingers crossed Phoe and everyone else with pee activity looming. Sinky any news?

Cups - you're on for the 20th! Excellent. Have never had pee buddy before Might help me to hold off from the mad too-early testing to which I'm otherwise prone.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 11/02/2012 11:49

Bah. Broke this morning. Not even a ghost of a line. But thanks for asking jewels

I suppose, if I ov-ed late this might still only be 10dpo, but I'm not holding out much hope.

But since I tested so early this am got to go back for a snooze and then out for a run, so the negative seems like ages ago, not just this morning...

Am going oot tonight for early valentines day meal cos I'm on nights next week. Shall drink my weight in red wine. Tis full of antioxidants don't cha know.

How's everyone else? Still menkulling phoenix?

CupOfBrownJoy · 11/02/2012 12:09

Can you symptom spot at 5 DPO? I thought I had some twingey ovaries this morning spot the person without any medical knowledge but it might have been what others commonly call "hunger" Blush

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 11/02/2012 12:37

That's positive jewelly, at least you have more idea of what you're dealing with!
sinky it ain't over til the evil metaller comes to town...I'm stil menkullling. No more spotting. Boobs are sore and massive! Having a lazy day today. Started with a Cuppa in bed then bacon butty. Now watching the football (MSB is sadly a massive man u fan) round my sister's with dnephew running round literally in circles. Seems I'm designated driver!

FriendofDorothy · 11/02/2012 14:05

Great. Friends of The Mister got married in September and have just announced they are 21 weeks pregnant. I cried. Why is so so fucking hard to get fucking pregnant?

CupOfBrownJoy · 11/02/2012 14:11

Sad I don't know Dorothy, I really don't.

KatAndKit · 11/02/2012 14:16

There's no rhyme or reason to it. Friends of ours who have been umming and ahhing and delaying it for ages got a first time lucky instadiff recently. Decide to stop using condoms - get bfp four weeks later. Compared to my 18 months with two miscarriages. There's no point looking for fairness because there sure as fuck isn't any. Just try to keep faith that you will get there one way or the other in the end and it will be worth the wait.

dor you seem to be having an awfully hard time of it at the moment. Gin and hairstrokes to you. You have your appointment soon and you will surely get some answers, and hopefully some help.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 11/02/2012 14:17

With you there dor. Currently knitting baby blanket for friend who got married 2 years after me and "knows how I feel" because it took her 8 months.

I might as well self flegellate with a birch stick wrapped in barbed wire. But ye know, she my bessy n'all.

FriendofDorothy · 11/02/2012 14:20

I reckon this couple got pregnant the first time they ever had sex. Good little Christians and all that. I am so fucking bitter today it is untrue!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 11/02/2012 14:25

It's when super sperm is mention, with a glint in blokes eye, that gets me. I've 2 super fertile friends who said that.

CupOfBrownJoy · 11/02/2012 14:34

I have one friend who reckons she got diffed within 48 hours of trying.

Load of bollocks if you ask me - I think people buy into not admitting actually how fucking hard it is, which then doesn't help when you're having problems because you feel like the only person its ever happened to.

She was always one for "oh life's so fucking easy, you know, I'm just lucky, husband earns a fortune, kids are doing well, everything's hunky dory".

I think she's just oddly competitive.

PhoenixFromTheFlames · 11/02/2012 14:53

The longer it takes us, the longer I'm on MN, the less rhyme and reason there's seems to be...

Northey · 11/02/2012 15:43

Just spent day with dear and lovely friends and their beautiful children. Despite knowing my whole infertility history, the chap said "oh, you don't want children". Just ARGHH. I managed not to sob.

Oh, and also he said that it was hard from his side too, to see friends without children living a fun and I encumbered life. I love him dearly, but nearly clocked him one.

Northey · 11/02/2012 15:47

Sorry dor, that was a bit self-obsessed of me. I've just got on the train and was bursting to offload my woe. I'm so sorry about your friends. And yours, kat and hilarity.

It is so fucking unfair, and some people will just never understand exactly how lucky they are.

OP posts:
sinkingflameofhilarity · 11/02/2012 15:58

You did well Northey. I'd have loved to either clock him, or say something cutting and witty. I would, however, have been to the loo crying.
