Hello again, I managed to go through the thread as far as a few pages before Grin?

Maplecake? sorry to hear of your previous bleeding and scare; but congrats on hearing the symphony of heartbeat Wink. Btw, I also caught myself poking my bbs in public lol? Thank you for reassurance. I feel better today.

Sarlat? Congrats on ET and 6 frosties (mine r 6 now after ET 2); hope u r having not so crazy 2ww? Is your test soon? (sorry if obvious or mentioned)
Wellerbabe? happy your follies growing! Congrats and GL!
Bugsy? GL for your scan tomorrow! Thanks for your reply; yes, I got positive but I sounded so crazy and upset like I got negative, sorry for such negative expression. I know I should be more grateful :)? I started getting HPT + on 5dp5dt and my 1st beta was 406, but frankly still catching myself worried as hell every now and then Confused!
Badger? GL on coming scan! My bbs too were very extremely sore immediately after ET, started softening 8dp5dt? (i like ur symbol Biscuit Biscuit) so I also got worried and searched online where I found reassuring info that it is normal. I am a POASolic, I tested this cycle 8 times and counting? Also, thanks for replying and reassurance.

Sunny? Is your beta test tmw? GL and sticky vibes for a BFP?

Pocket and Josie? GL in your processes!

I am sorry this is what I could make out of my reading. Apologoes for forgetting some names or misunderstanding where others are in their procedures. (Is there a feature for having a signature line for our procedure that comes in every time one sends?). I wish all peacuful times waiting and fruitful results.

Today, I feel a bit more relieved especially that I am back to my normal cramps, not yesterday?s strange ones. And there is no spotting (which I was almost anticipating). Btw, I am also symptoms' detiction addict; I documented all my tiniest syptoms since 1dp5dt! And googled several symptoms sites lol... I can?t wait till my next beta on Sunday! Why do they have them that far apart 4 days? Anyways, thanks again for your nice community and support. You guys look like a great group Thanks

wellerbabe · 25/05/2012 12:34

I hope that you aren't too sore and rest up well today. Keep us posted on when ET will be!

GardeniasD · 25/05/2012 15:06

Great Weller! Congrats!

sunnyg · 25/05/2012 17:43

firstly a big apology about this 'me' email. But ladies, I think I may have gotten my BFP! Up very early to test, and nearly fell off the bed (where I was hiding) when DH (as I made him look) came in to tell me. So the line is faint, but I used a clear blue non-digital as clinic instructed, and according to the instructions (which I have read at least a billion times by now) even if faint it's positive. I can definitely see the line, and have been quite bonkers holding it up to all kinds of light.

Obviously am a bit cautious, as it is quite faint. Not hugely impressed with clinic who didn't even call me back after 2 messages. I had to call them again. They told me I could test again in a few days but I didn't need a blood test to confirm? Is that right?

Not sure if I can wait a few days. Shall I just go and buy a heap of tests and test again tomorrow? Or do I just go see my gp?

Will catch up with everyone's news over the weekend. There is a lot going on here!

oxox

Keziahhopes · 25/05/2012 18:42

Hi - just been reading and so many bfp's - congrats to all who are in the early first few weeks after your bfp!! Smile - huge congrats!

sunnyg- a gp is very unlikely to test you, as they say home tests are reliable and they accept that! So looks like you may be joining the people who have multiple tests at home (I bought cheap sticks from Amazon in the end, to feed my habit - oops!!) I have a photo of them all lined up in date order, getting darker Blush

Pocket1 · 25/05/2012 18:48

Woo hoo Sunny that's such brilliant news. Congratulations. My consultant did my blood test for me last time. It was £50 an I got the result same day. Is that an option for you? I'd not Kezia has some good advice re more test sticks!?! Grin

BadgerFace · 25/05/2012 19:23

Sunny that's. So exciting! Yeah! I was just told to test at home by my clinic so yours may be the same. They don't test bloods just an early scan 2 weeks after the home test.

a line is a line even if faint!faint

GardeniasD · 25/05/2012 19:45

Congrats Sunny! Great news... I got v v faint line on d5p5dt and it kept getting darker later days. I can assure u v faint is not like negative at all. Happy for you!

lucylookout · 25/05/2012 20:06

Yeah Sunny! Fab news, congratulations!

Scrummybump · 25/05/2012 20:11

sunnyg that is fantastic news! So, so happy for you Grin Grin Grin

maplecake · 25/05/2012 20:34

Sunny a line is a line! So thrilled for you - that is such good news. Was having a lovely day but your news has made it the best :) xx

bugsylugs · 25/05/2012 21:03

sunny brilliant news am so happy for you. If the line can be seen in the time is positive.

Scan today went ok lo still v small heart beat normal haemorrhage clotted of. Am feeling calmer now on holiday so not sure how much I will check in

Keziahhopes · 25/05/2012 21:33

bugsy that is so encouraging .... my little one had a heartbeat when only 2.8mm - that was classed as small by one dr, and I found out at 12 weeks that I got a heartbeat at less than 6 weeks as dates were changed! Hope good holiday for you.

wellerbabe · 26/05/2012 07:42

sunny brilliant lovely news so happy for you GrinGrinGrin

sarlat · 27/05/2012 07:22

Morning

Weller - great news on the number of eggs. Just goes to show what our bodies can do. So pleased for you as I have been in your shoes.

Sunny - wow, wow and wow. I am delighted for you. Congratulations. Enjoy the next few weeks and months. Will you get some early scans? xx

Garden - Good luck.

Hello to everyone else.

My 2ww is going nice and slowly (how else?). Not much symtpom wise, had far more going on at this stage (5d5dpt) with my natural conception which ended in miscarriage.

Ah well, trying to stay positive.

x

sunnyg · 27/05/2012 12:15

Hope everyone is enjoying this amazing weather!

Thanks heaps for your good wishes. I really, really hope this is my sticky bean. Tested again yesterday and another faint positive, pretty much the same. Spoke to my acupuncturist and a few other people who all agreed a blood test is the only way to know for sure. So if my clinic won't do it I think I'll go to my gp on Tuesday and ask her to send me for one. Am going to hold off testing again myself (am personally keeping Boots in profit!) till at least Tuesday morning.

Couple of quick questions:

  1. can AF arrive if you are still on progesterone pessaries (it hasn't, in fact no sign of anything) but just wondering ?

  2. Am fighting off a cold. Can I take paracetamol, vitamin c and Zinc?

oxoxo

sunnyg · 27/05/2012 12:27

Sarlet am so glad your journey has made such a turn around. You've done so well! Don't worry if you haven't felt anything. I think I've felt barely anything. Maybe the odd twinge but that could just be my mind playing nasty tricks on me. The clinic booked me in for a scan at 6.5 weeks, but that's why I think I'll go for a blood test this week. I can't wait that long!

bugsy great news about hb. Hope you are having a relaxing holiday!

Weller fantastic news about your EC. You must be sooo happy! When is ET?

Scrummy and Maple how are you two going? Hope you are both feeling well?

And welcome GardeniasD Hope you are feeling a wee bit more calm? Feels like we are always worried about something with this fertility business eh? Do you listen to a relaxing CD or anything. I can recommend Zita West. I know some find her voice annoying but puts me to sleep and really calms me down every time!

Pocket how are things with you my dear?

And big, big waves to everyone else! oxox

maplecake · 27/05/2012 13:56

Hey Sunny Isn't it gorgeous? Am just about to go in to the garden with some strawberries and cream and ginger beer - would be amazing if we could count on it being like this until end August!

My AF arrived (on OTD) when I was still on progesterone pessaries from my March cycle and yes, fine to take paracetamol, zinc and vit C. Hope you feel better soon.

Sarlat keep positive! I know how the days drag and remember minutes feeling like hours! Don't worry about the lack of symptoms - there's no set pattern for BFP's or BFN's. Keeping everything crossed for you.

AFM - all is good really. Love being pregnant despite all the side effects and on holiday from Weds - woop woop! Am banishing negative thoughts as they appear and taking each day as it comes.

Right sunshine calling!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Sunday. xoxo

Keziahhopes · 27/05/2012 16:59

Sunny yes to paracetamol if neeeded, with vitamin C and zinc yes - but if you taking a preganancy vitamin already check you not having too much of anything. Fresh citrus fruit, honey and lemon with hot water all helped me when ill and pregnant.

GardeniasD · 27/05/2012 19:59

Hello all... It is a lovely Sunday, for sure!

Thanks sarlat and sunny... I am better now but will keep this cd in mind :)

In fact, I have gd news, my 2nd beta was done today and justbgot result. They said itbrose nicely from 406 om 9dp5dt to 2093 on 13dp5dt... I am more relieved at least knowing it is fine. Will only be totally relaxed seeing that scan on June 13...

Hope everyone else is doing fine....
