Maple sweetie I can understand you're worried. Some women bleed during pregnancy and there is nothing wrong at all. if there is a lot of blood then go to the hospital and push for a scan. Don't let them fobb you off. Do you have a friend to go with you? Fx you'll be okay. Thinking of you. X

sunnyg · 22/05/2012 20:58

Maple I think if you are at all worried, even just to put your mind at ease go to the hospital. It's probably nothing, but I can imagine you are sick with worry. I'm sure it's just as pocket says, which I've also heard. Thinking of you and hope everything is okay oxo

bugsylugs · 22/05/2012 22:12

Maple hope it has all settled. It is so worrying but lots of ladies have bleeding in pregnancy and it all turns out ok. Not sure where you are but up this way cannot get a scan in the evening. You could always phone your nhs hospital in am but think you have a scan tomorrow. Rest and go to a and e if not settling or anything else. I had bleeding with ds all was fine. Hugs and thinking of you

sarlat · 23/05/2012 07:49

Morning

Maple - so sorry you are frightened. Hope you get a scan today, do push for one. Will be thinking of you.

Had ET transfer yesterday and it went well. They got 6 blasto's and so one was put back in and the other 5 have gone in to freezer. There is another one which they will watch a bit longer and if they thinks its ok, it will go in the freezer too.

I am relived but alos a bit overwhelmed - especially by the number of blastos.

Feeling very lucky to have got this far and looking forward to thinking about something else for a few days as I think IVF gets mentally exhausting. Thanks for all the support Ladies.

Enjoy the sunshine. x

BadgerFace · 23/05/2012 09:00

maple I hope that you are okay. Did you go to A&E in the end?

sarlat good work on getting five into the freezer as well as one on board! I hope that your 2ww zooms by - at least you've got some nice weather to take your mind off things!

wellerbabe · 23/05/2012 09:21

maple thinking of you hope all on
sarlat fab news you give me hope
Scan shows that 2nd follie has grown since Monday but still needs to be bigger and a third one has started to grow Grin

Lovely weather but v sweaty on tube!

maplecake · 23/05/2012 11:47

Thanks so much everyone - I went to A&E last night and they wouldn't scan me - I was too upset too push for it, and because they said it's my first pregnancy with no prior miscarriages it's their policy not to scan. They said the bleeding could be nothing to be worried about and it has stopped this morning which is a massive relief. The cramps have also stopped too which is good. I'm just aware I'm week 7-8 which is such a crucial time for Poppet's development and that if something will go wrong, then it feels like this is the likely week.

I've phoned in sick today though so am just going to take it easy and hope there's a h/b at the scan with ZW tomorrow. Apols for the melodrama yesterday - I did kind of freak out and assume the worst although I feel much calmer today.

Weller Go follies go!! good to hear things headed in the right direction. When's your next scan? I know what you mean about the tube - had a nightmare yesterday at Waterloo as massive delays and then packed like sardines in an over heated train going 0 miles an hour -grrr.

Sarlat 6 blastos is amazing - that must be a record! Enjoy being PUPO and the gorgeous weather :)

Bugsy thanks for the reassurance - how are you doing? Will be thinking of you on Friday.

Badger How's it going? Stopped prodding those Biscuit Biscuit yet? Did you manage to speak to your ACU?

Pocket Really pleased the ZW CD's are doing the trick. I always used to fall asleep to mine within the first 3 mins and also tried to listen to it on the tube but gave up - far too stressful! Hope all's good with you and thanks for the mantra - I don't see men beating themselves up about things in the same way we do!

Josie Good to hear from you and glad to hear you've still got that fighting spirit - I know it's tough but there is always hope. Good that you've got someone at work to talk things through with and also to be an inspiration to!

Sunny thank you lovely. How are you doing on the bench? Are you about halfway now?

Hi to everyone else and sending you all hugs and ice cream. xox

sunnyg · 23/05/2012 18:01

maple so glad you are feeling a bit better today. That must have been really worrying for you.Good luck for tomorrow's scan, am sure all will be fine, but still you'll be so happy to see that hb.

Actually nearing the end here of my time on the bench. D-Day being Friday. It's been tough, and I've had a few wobbly days but feeling calm the past few days. I've had a few panic days, as I've literally not felt a thing. Maybe the odd twinge here and there, but then I think that's just my mind playing tricks on me. You know as if we are not all loopy enough during the 2 ww! But I know heaps of women hadn't felt a thing and still got their BFP. It'll be what it'll be!

Sorry for not name checking everyone else. I've been a bit absent trying to keep my fingers from wondering over to Mr Google - which I've also had a few wobbles with! But I'll play catch up over the next few days, there's been a lot going on.

Big waves to you all oxox

maplecake · 23/05/2012 18:44

Thanks Sunny Gosh where has the time gone!!! Well done for getting through the last couple of weeks with your sanity intact and great to hear you've been feeling calm. I have a friend who had zero symptoms and got a BFP - I so hope it works for you I really do.

Will be keeping everything crossed for you my dear! xox

maplecake · 23/05/2012 18:52

PS Just a quick update on work situation - I told my boss today over the phone and she was so sympathetic - turns out she had had 10 failed IUI & IVF cycles and was also a poor responder - who knew!

BadgerFace · 23/05/2012 19:40

maple glad to hear you're better today. Good luck with the scan tomorrow. I spoke to the ACU who said that they usually advise people to carry on taking cyclo until first scan so have ordered me some more to get me through til next friday. Don't really understand why they hadn't told me I should need more, they ordered the first lot and know all my dates. Feel a bit let down again, but thanks ladies for telling me to call them! Am waiting for a call from the drugs company but god knows how I am going to get them unless they can deliver on Saturday or put them through my letter box coz I have too many meetings to wait at home for a delivery like last time.

Sunny good luck tomorrow, I've got my fingers crossed. Don't worry about no symptoms, I only had a few butterflies which could just have easily been nerves about testing!

I've managed to stop poking my boobs which is good. Nearly weed on another stick this evening but then had a word with myself about not being crazy...

wellerbabe · 23/05/2012 20:19

badger I had mine delivered to work there is nothing on the box just 'refrigerated goods' so you can say its a birthday cake if anyone asks! Does come in a large box which is slightly unnecessary but lots if packaging. If you are getting tube home it's a bit awkward though!
maple glad you are feeling a bit better Grin

Pocket1 · 23/05/2012 21:19

Sarlat I am so pleased et went well. May you manage to relax over your 2ww. And great news on so many blastos on ice! Smile

Weller great news on follies 2 and 3. When is your next scan? I hear you with huge sweaty tube thing - yuk!

Maple I'm so sorry you've had to go through all of that. And it seems so harsh not to get a scan. But I am glad you're feeling calmer - taking today off was the right thing to do. Btw how lovely is your boss! Fx for your scan tmw, hope you see that hb and get the reassurance you need. Let us know how you get on. X

Bugsy how are you today?

Badger how are your BiscuitBiscuit? Btw I have some cyclogest that I won't need (can't remember how many offhand) - I don't know how pm works but I would be happy to send them to you if you get me your address! Or drop them at your office if it's near Piccadilly circus ish??!!

Dear Sunny fx for your otd Friday. I am praying for your bfp x

AFM am willing af so I can get onto the next phase. Confused

Pocket1 · 23/05/2012 22:07

Badger I have two cyclogest 40mg. They are yours if you want them. BiscuitBiscuit

Pocket1 · 23/05/2012 22:08

Pocket1 · 23/05/2012 22:10

Sorry, the cyclogest are 400mg. I have one eye on the apprentice!

bugsylugs · 23/05/2012 22:43

maple glad you had the day off and a lovely boss. Am not surprised they did not scan last pm but am really Shock they did not do one today. Sorry last night I thought it was Thurs and your scan was today!!! Will be thinking of you tomorrow.
badger so glad you got hold of the clinic. Check at scan if you need more until 12 weeks. Still prodding mine not looking so good!
weller good news re follicles. Little waggle dance for them.
sarlat great news here is for a peaceful 2 weeks with not to much mentaling. Brilliant having so many frosties.
sunny good luck for tomorrow will be thinking of you.

Found out 8 weeks after having bloods taken that hospital sent them onto the wrong hospital and so need to repeat again grrr

GardeniasD · 24/05/2012 17:45

Hello there... I just joined this community today. I like its inclusiveness and variety of groups (e.g., not just moms, not just IVf, etc.). I would like to share with you and be part of the gang :) ... I am still skimming through this thread so I know all/most stories hopefully soon. For now, good luck to you all who have 2ww, u/s, or tests tomorrow or soon.

I have a small history of ttc (abt 4 years) and I included it in my profile. For now though, I am 10dp5dt of 2 frozen embryos. I got my first blood work yesterday, beta 406. waiting second one on 27 May.

Excuse me for jumping in with a long question right away! As I was so emotionally mixed up for weeks, especially yesterday, I was so getting crazy and happy, but at the same time I was also extremely sensitive and poor DH was the place of pouring my anger and crying and weeping waves on. I cried alot for the silliest reasons or anything he says. Shortly, I felt cramps that are a little bit different than the ones I felt before (like AF). Could being so emotional and crying hard affect the pregnancy in this v early stage? 10dp5dt... Am I being paranoid? I will get totally insane till May 27 test!

P.s: DH and I are now fine (just like kids), but both are worried from those cramps!

Gardenia

MiniH · 24/05/2012 18:52

Just wanted to poke my head in and say good luck sunnyg for testing tomorrow.

maple hope the scan goes well as well and that you have no more scans.

Waves and hugs to everyone else and sorry for not name checking everyone. Am off to have a glass of Wine in the sun - one of the perks of not being pregnant I guess!

BadgerFace · 24/05/2012 19:02

pocket thanks for your kind offer, have arranged delivery for saturday so all is good. Am just so annoyed at the clinic not telling me I would need more/to carry on - thank god for for you lot , otherwise I would have not thought to check, just assumed that was the end of that part!!

Hi gardenia welcome welcome! I am sure that being emotional and crying would not affect the pregnancy in any way. I think that any sort of cramps are pretty normal so don't worry. The two week wait is tough but you have not got too long to go now! The hormones will make you cry at anything - I nearly cried when I knocked my glass of squash over with the hoover during mine a couple of weeks ago so you're not alone!

maple I hope your scan is reassuring tomorrow.

bugsy sorry to hear about your hospital cock up - things get so frustrating don't they. I hope that they get their act together.

and good luck to sunny!!

mini enjoy the Wine can you also have a pint for me? Am so missing a pint in the sunshine in a beer garden....

Waves to everyone else!

maplecake · 24/05/2012 19:27

Mini Enjoy your lovely evening and your glass of vino - like Badger, please have one for me too Grin

Badger Good news about the delivery!

Pocket It was a good Apprentice wasn't it? Who's your money on for the final?

Gardenia welcome - from everything you've said I think it all sounds entirely normally and just the madness that is IVF and the 2WW The last few days are the worst (well they were for me) - hang on in there and let us know how you get on.

Bugsy Double grrr to your hospital -that's so poor. Have you got your scan tomorrow or am I getting confused? If you have, good luck, will be thinking of you.

And thinking of you too Mini - everything crossed for you my dear. Let's hope the sunshine is a good omen :)

Thanks very much for all the good wishes re the scan. DH and I were really nervous but all is okay. We actually heard little Poppet's heartbeat!! 160 beats per minute and she's grown in to a little 1cm jelly tot :)

On holiday for 10 days from next Thursday so hopefully that will stop me stressing and worrying. Am now celebrating with B&J's cherry garcia frozen yoghurt!

Have lovely sunny evenings all. xox

bugsylugs · 24/05/2012 19:45
