mojangled and sunny not long to go now to test day. Hope it hasn't been too bad....

I got my immune test results back. Unfortunately I was out of the country when they phoned so just got a bad message. I've called them again for someone to call me back, but from what I picked up it seems that I have two elevated levels CD56 and CD90+5? Would need either intralipids or steroids - I think. Getting a bit cold feet about it so have spent quite a bit of time online searching. Let's see how I feel once I've spoken to them. On a good note, my body seems to behave as 'normal ' again and DH and I are busy SWI:ing this week Smile

italian how are you darling. Hope work is not too bad. Did you get your results back?

Welcome to stacy and lexie

Bugsy Bugsy sweetheart, I am so so sorry. Can?t believe it. Sending you hugest hugs. Be nice to yourself.

MoJangled · 24/01/2012 22:12

Sunny come on now, ain?t heard no fat lady yet?Did you watch 15 kids? I sobbed at Call the Midwife (on Sky+) today.

Lucy I know nothing, it just struck me that I was feeling less festive and more rattled and changed my name accordingly!

MalibuStacey welcome and good luck. I interpret any feeling anywhere as a good sign at this stage, although its hard to sort out the signs that you?re definitely pregnant, from the signs that the drugs are working (also good, of course).

Lexie good news that your records are coming together. Best of luck for the AMH results.

Scrummy I hope your immunes talk with the clinic goes well. How are you feeling now? There?s sometimes a perverse relief when they find something as then it can be treated, I find. Intralipids ? kerching ouch though! Better get shagging, you'll save ££££!

Mo Symptom of the Day: achey inner hips (hmm, maybe just sat wrong) and wanting to kill DH ( could be progesterone tablets, possibly, I suppose?)

Pocket1 · 24/01/2012 22:26

Just marking my space. Good luck to those testing this week - fingers especially crossed for Sunny and Mojangled xxx

Just wondering if I should change my name to Pocketed Grin

JosieSmith1 · 25/01/2012 08:26

Bugsy I?m so so sorry Sad I can?t imagine how you must be feeling, we?re here if you need to talk about it

Welcome to MalibuStacy, I would be interested to hear your experiences of IVF as we might be going down that route soon, I know roughly what it involves but would like to know what you actually experience iykwim

Lexie good news about your results, hopefully you won?t feel as up in the air as you did previously.

Not a lot going on here, very very busy at work, 2 people off, one planned one not, and I?ve been lumbered with everything because the one other admin here is pretty useless. Lovely, but useless Grin She pays so much attention she asked how my IVF was going (I wasn?t aware I was having IVF yet Hmm maybe she knows something I don?t)

Hello to everyone I?ve missed

Pocket1 · 25/01/2012 17:58

dear bugsy been thinking of you a lot today. Do you really have to wait another 3 weeks for your next appt? Is it a rescan? I only had to wait a week and that was so tough - its not fair to expect you to wait 3. Can you push for earlier appt?

MoJangled · 25/01/2012 23:03

Bugsy what's happening? Are you not getting answers? You def shouldnt be left in limbo at a time like this. Hugs hugs hugs...

Sunny not long now.

Mo Symptom of the Day: boobs starting to ache and not that hungry, all pre-AF signs for me, but I am claiming lower backache and stuffy ears again in the plus column. This could be the last evening ever that I can imagine that I might possibly be pregnant. If this one doesnt work we're done, I'm 44 and we've done 6 cycles, no financial or emotional resources left to carry on. So I think I might take a pregnancy book to bed and just enjoy it.

bugsylugs · 26/01/2012 02:46

Sorry I have not been clear. Definitely a missed m/ c appt in 3 weeks is just follow up to discuss what's happened next steps. Will be more tests as 3 m/ c. Have appt at epau in 6 hrs not happy about it dreadful place even though new build. Happy preg ladies and grieving ladies in same v small area. Will ask for sep room or wait outside. Ridiculous to go through it all again they cannot accept someone else's scan.
mojangled sunny I think today is test day fingers crossed am hoping lots of bfp

Pocket1 · 26/01/2012 07:59

Bugsy I'm so sorry. x

Pocket1 · 26/01/2012 08:00

Sunny and Mojanled good luck today. Everything is crossed for a pair of BFPs today xxx

MoJangled · 26/01/2012 09:54

((( Bugsy ))) I really wish the mechanics of the system were easier on those of us for whom this family stuff is not a breeze. The whole waiting for multiple miscarriages before investigating thing is cruel. Wishing you sensitive doctors and quick answers.

Sunny any news? Thinking of you lots.

Pocket how's the health and beauty kick?

Blood test done, results this afternoon, have day off so am holed up in cafe with laptop attempting to write, guess how focussed I am...

lucylookout · 26/01/2012 13:20

Ah ha, found you all.

Just popping on to wish sunny and mo lots and lots of luck.

Scrummy, I agree with mo, it's kind of good argc have found a problem they can fix, and intralipids is much less expensive than IVIg, and also sounds like quite a safe and healthy product (isn't it soy based?) But then again maybe I'm just biased in favour of immune treatment because I know it can work.

Bugsy, still thinking of you lots

sunnyg · 26/01/2012 16:24

Hi all
It hasn't been the best day. Started with a BFN this morning, followed by locking myself out after work (and having to travel and hour to DH's work to get keys) and then just to seal the deal the arrival of AF. Yep pretty much over today.

So there's been a few tears. But no point dwelling. Hopefully it's onwards and upwards to egg sharing. Already got consultations booked in with 2 clinic and all in the next 2 weeks.

Mo cycle buddy are you there? I am desperate for your news. I am sending you millions of positive vibes for your results oxo

Thanks everyone for your support and good wishes through the cycle. It really helps.

Send you all hugs, and especially to bugsy at this very difficult time oxo

bugsylugs · 26/01/2012 17:12

sunnyg So sorry to hear your bfn. Have time for tears and be kind to yourself enjoy a few special / banned meals. Glad you are thinking positive and to the next step it gives you a focus. You are in my thoughts

Pocket1 · 26/01/2012 18:28

Sunny I'm so sorry. But wow you are being very positive. Lots of love to you xxx

Pocket1 · 26/01/2012 18:29

Mojangled any news from you???? Am praying for your BFP.

Pocket1 · 26/01/2012 18:32

Bugsy how are you and how was your appointment? Hope it wasn't as awful as anticipated and that you had a lovely and supportive dr. Did you get any answers? Btw what is epau? x

lucylookout · 26/01/2012 18:50

Sunny I'm really sorry to hear about your BFN Sad. Onwards and upwards with the egg sharing. Your turn will come.

Scrummybumb · 26/01/2012 18:54

Sad sunnyg sorry to hear about your BFN. But glad you have your egg sharing plans on the move

bugsy I'm all for patient voice. You should voice your views to the hospital PALS and write to the PCT. I think it's disgusting that you have to share the clinics - the least they could do is schedule different clinic times. Thinking of you.

mojangled what's the news?

lucy I know what you mean, but I still can't help but wonder. Have bought the book you recommended - is your body baby friendly - so will digest over the weekend.

As for name change - I hope I get to finally change mine to scrummybump one day....it's a bit of a joke between DH and I....mind you scrummybumped sounds pretty good too! Grin

A heartbroken BFN for me.

Sunny was really hoping for you - your attitude is amazing.

Thanks for all your lovely support ladies.

bugsylugs · 26/01/2012 21:29

mojangled am so very very heartbroken for you. There are no words you have had a long emotional road with no joy at the end of it. Hugs, love and thoughts from me. I know you said this was the end of the road for you if it is Hope you and dh can find some peace. A friend who has reached the end of her journey tells me acupuncture is really helping her . I wish you peace. Xx

Scrummybumb · 26/01/2012 21:38

Darling, I am so, so sorry to hear your news. I wish you and your family all the very best with what life brings you. pocket epau is early pregnancy assessment unit. As soon as I walked into the unit I burst into floods of tears. A nurse took me to consulting room so did not sit with others. She was the nurse who first saw me for MM/C in Sep. she was excellent again and apologised that I had to go through repeat scan . But today I had the strength to see longed for lo. Have a photo for of and when strong enough (CARE) have some for us if we want them. Mum [shocked] and Confused thinks all very odd and thought I should have gone to work on Wed. Op week on mon probably of nature does not intervene did last time. Not sure I want general anaesthetic .

Pocket1 · 26/01/2012 21:51

Oh Mojangled I don't know what to say other than I am so sorry for you and DP. This is such a harsh and unfair journey. Lots of love to you xxxSad
