Faith don't be miz. I know it's hard and anniversaries just serve as reminders. The only way I've got through 32 unsucessful cycles is to think about what I have got. You've had a very rough time recently. Don't be too hard on yourself.

Thanks sunny. The ttc thing has almost taken a back seat. I've got a history of depression. I'm trying to work out if I'm depressed enough to need to seek help - I'm loathe to take ends again. It don't want to slide into the depths I was at before....or am I actually just feeling how I should feel? Will I feel better once Christmas is done and we get into the rented house? And even just when the droid has gone, I should feel better, I really, really miss my Mum at times like this.

It's rough Faith. Don't leave it too long if you think you should talk to someone.

Faith I think anyone would feel a bit down after what you have been through. Only you can know if it is more than "a bit down".

I suppose what I'm holding on to is the fact that I can see light at the end of the tiunnel...I know we'll get through Christmas, we found a nice houe to rent though I'm terrified we chose the 'wrong' one and fact, MSB should be getting better in the next few weeks so the fertility issues should actually resolve. I think I'm just overwhelmed. MSB is out with the lads. I can't wait for him to come home but I don't want to drag him back.
I think I'll be ok. Can't see a GP for a while anyway...I'll see how I feel after Christmas.

You have been through a horrid ordeal - and it's also the first day of your period which is always the worst isn't it? Give yourself a mental check after Christmas and see if you are still feeling the same - and if you are then a trip to the GP for a chat can't hurt can it?

Yes. I did a depression score and I'm top of the chart as high anxiety and depression! I will review in the new year and see. There's just been so much upheaval all at once. Probably not surprising I'm feeling this way, they changed my boss as well the day I got back to work after the week off after the fire. Not easy at the best of times but just aftter my personal upheaval was the worst timing. Genius. In fact my new boss seems great. Today I went to see him to get all my leave signed off. I said my last boss had agreed to 2 1/2 days special leave and 2 1/2 days annual leave. I was a bit gutted cos I had one week left and we were planning a week's holiday in March and I thought we'd have to leave it til April. New boss essentially said 'while I see why she suggested that, I think it's reasonable to give you a week's leave when your house burns down!' so we can have that holiday sooner. I was so grateful I almost burst into tears. In fact that's basically set me off all day. Right I'm going to get in the bath and chill out. Thanks BESH, you lot are the best,

As others have said Faithy it's not surprising you're feeling a bit overwhelmed. It also wouldn't be surprising if what you've been through set off something more serious but you know that help and support are there for you, hopefully before it gets past a certain point. Anxiety/Depression is one of the reasons we didn't start ttc sooner and I understand how debilitating it can be. Sending you some special Christmas-unstresser

I have discovered the most awesome skin thing ever...Soap and glory mini face massager. It's a rubber massage that exfoliates your skin. Seriously, it's like a baybee's bum.

Poor faithy, it's been a rough time for you, and Christmas somehow makes everything worse. It's good though that you're keeping an eye on things with an eye to seeking professional help when you need it. And also good that you have a face like a baybee's bum, you gorgeous thing.
