That outdoor nativity sounds luffly too. My droid is making me sleepy. And I've also had a few glasses of mulled wine tonight (went to a gathering a a friend's house sunny).

Has anyone ever been to Taizé?

AriesWithBellsOn · 22/12/2011 00:06

I have had 2 pints of zoiderrrrr and a glass of mulled wine. I have been in a torchlit procession and danced round a fire but it wasn't as good at it sounded. Lots of pseudo hippy artistic types wearing evergreenery round their heads being spiritual.

MadameBoodolf · 22/12/2011 00:12

I'd like that but I'd swap the artistitc hippies for Steeleye Span doing Gaudete.

NortheyPole · 22/12/2011 00:53

My school was nuts on Taizé. I twitch at clapping in songs. Assembly liturgy mass things were not fun for me as a result.

I can't go to church properly since the ectopic. Well I can, but I basically walk in, think "what the fuck did you do that for, then?", and just flare my nostrils sarkily for the rest of the service, in top teenage stylee.

HaveUrselfAFaithyChristmasBaby · 22/12/2011 06:33

I was like that when my Mum died Northey. When I did get there I just sobbed all.the way through. I got back.in the end though I found a different church.
Not long til new Fred actually...

Itwasonastarrymole · 22/12/2011 07:08

I tried to post last night all about how I was up at quarter to one STILL waiting for my Mary Berry cake in a bag to cook, one of the delays being I grilled it for the first half hour, but my phone wouldn't send it-you missed a treat there...

Aibu to have fallen out of love with BBB a bit cos he showed me a letter he wrote to his boss and he'd spelt 'you're' wrong three times. I'm a bit repulsed.

A friend I once kind of loved who I then decided was gay is a brother at taize-talk about your barking up wrong tree,i really never stood a chance.

ta for your enquiries after my health-tis ok,mentally not so stable, but working the denial look quite well. haven't told anyone yet,but staying with a friend tonight who usually greets me with, "so, are you drinking today or are you you know what?"and not sure I can fake it with her, she's like a differ detective. august thread hilarious for those who like a sadi masochistic laugh. "i was in the bath last night,,and I put some extra.hot in and had to get out because I think I cooked my baybee" etc. Will NOT being hanging there.

riebitch get your tongue off of my man.

FrostytheSunshine · 22/12/2011 07:16

I luff you Mole. As you were.

I am up in order to do The Christmas Shop. Elbows out. Sainsburys here I come.

FrostytheSunshine · 22/12/2011 07:26

Cake in a bag?

SantasCave · 22/12/2011 08:05

I'm up. Last day of work today, finishing at lunchtime. We're braving Tesco this afternoon (aka seventh circle of hell), though we've already bought our size of a small elephant turkey in Waitrose [attempts to be posh]

FriendofDorothy · 22/12/2011 08:19

Oh I forgot about the franglais Fred. We already speak Franglais in Guernsey so it would be like speaking my mother tongue!

I am feeling much better today - although I have rampant backache but no sign of the droid yet. wish it would just get on with it. I still think it is going to be a rubbish birthday present tomorrow morning.

HaveUrselfAFaithyChristmasBaby · 22/12/2011 08:28

dottie I feel like we're cycle buddies. I too have the rampant back ache. Spotting stopped when I stopped poking around but I don't think it'll be long. Maybe 24th, that'd be cd28 and I do average 27 day cycle.
Best of British to all those shopping today. I need to shop but only for co-codamol preparing to do battle with the Droid and some Palmers cocoa butter. Seriously, I used some of my Nan on laws at the weekend on my oh so dry skin, it's uh-maz-ING!

KatAndKit · 22/12/2011 08:59

Cocoa butter is ace. It's even better when you delegate the task of smearing it all over you to someone else. I love the stuff and it smells nice too.

HaveUrselfAFaithyChristmasBaby · 22/12/2011 17:28

Bleurgh MSB has come home in a foul mood. I have left him blowing up stuff on his ps3. I will not entertain it. I am drinking tea and eating smarties instead. How is everyone?

FrostytheSunshine · 22/12/2011 17:47

I'm getting ready to go out. All the shopping is done, house is cleaned and I've trained & had a sports massage today so I'm feeling relaxed & festive Xmas Grin

KatAndKit · 22/12/2011 17:52

Amazon have delivered all my shopping before Xmas which is a nice surprise! Not feeling especially festive but never mind, there's time yet.

HaveUrselfAFaithyChristmasBaby · 22/12/2011 18:08

We survived Hell Tesco and managed not to buy enough food to feed a small army. We've also had a dance lesson tonight and HWHNN is feeling very proud as he's finally nailed his Waltz spin turns! Luring him for sechs should be easy tonight Wink

FriendofDorothy · 22/12/2011 21:26

God I have the worst period pain I have had in years today. It's like a double kicker - no you're not pregnant and here is lots of pain.
