They are a bit pointy but not much and the heel is 2". TBH I only bought them because I knew I would never last a whole day in pointy heels. You have met me Sunny. I am not a Shoe Person.

i'm debating going to my work Christmas party on Wednesday night but a) am concerned the free booze might send me mental as my last proper drinking session was in February and b) can I really be arsed to get the tube on a cold and possibly rainy night when I could stay snuggly warm at home? Meh.
