All inclusive holiday! Now that's sounding like a plan. I would love a nice trip like that with sun and sand etc. Sadly it isn't going to happen in a hurry. But it is very high up my list.

NortheyPole · 07/12/2011 17:37

The walking trip sounds good as well. Oddly enough, my boyfriend (I must find a witty name for him) and I arranged a walking holiday after the ectopic and it was absolutely the best thing. Fresh air, the feeling of having accomplished skmething at the end of each day, exhausted and pint drinking... We'll ignore the snowstorm and the time I lost my balance and sat down in a puddle... It was a massive massive help.

maja15 · 07/12/2011 17:38

I have to go back to the hospital next Wednesday to check that things are going ok (incidentally, that's the date I was meant to go for my first scan).

I am also normally a positive, optimistic person. It's just that I can't carry out my usual coping techniques (doing yoga, going out to seeing my friends, going shopping, going out for a meal spending money ) because I'm stuck in the house holding my tummy, wearing nappies & feeling shite.

bugsy I am sure that once we start physically ourselves we'll find we can cope that bit easier.

maja15 · 07/12/2011 17:41

once we start feeling physically ourselves. Jeez, can't even type anymore

maja15 · 07/12/2011 17:47

Northey This is my first pregnancy/mc but I think I know what they mean. When I got pregnant it was all whowwowhowhwo, cheery, happiness & celebrations.

If it happens again, I think I'll be too scared to celebrate too much, in case I'm jinxing it. It's also a bit embarrassing, having everyone get all excited and then nothing.

KatAndKit · 07/12/2011 18:18

feeling physically ourselves, eh?

In keeping with the lezzing theme of the Fred, I think you should be physically feeling each other :)

maja15 · 07/12/2011 18:19

KatAndKit Totally! :)

Itwasonastarrymole · 07/12/2011 18:20

I think there's a silent divide across women of every nation between those who get diffed and therefore expect a baby and those that don't. Sad I get Really mad with people who go for scans, let you know they're going, and then don't get in touch until hours later- because it doesn't occur to them that anything could go wrong, and so why would anyone be concerned to hear the results. I have a few friends who have said to me 'Of course' when I ask if it went well, with surprise in their voices. Sadly you've joined the other side now, and one of the bastard lingering effects is a loss of innocence about pregnancy.

And yet we still have our Harry so all is not lost.

Hey frosty, thanks for asking, but I won't be staying. I think that despite having 3 mc's and working oh so hard to get mini FC, I think trying for number 3 and being over 40 takes me out of the BESH club. But I'll continue to lurk...

And buggerbaubles, I have to say, that, I HONESTLY know how hard this is for you. But the bitterness at fellow ESH has to stop.

HaveYourselfAFaithyChristmas · 07/12/2011 20:07

damjam stay for one wee drinkie tis the season.
I have had a desperate housewive bit of a thing for Harry for many, many years. Almost since it was indecent.

Oh g'won then, I loves mulled wine I do. Thanks!
I was a bit concerned you meant Harry from Spooks for a while there faith!

Casserole · 07/12/2011 20:30

Hey Euro, can you see above - MNHQ won't delete until you report your own post. I think Kat had it right about the mixup.

I have always, always been so humbled and amazed by how ESH who have been in depths of despair still manage to congratulate those who have their wins. Often of course it's accompanied by weeping and swearing and gnashing of teeth in private, we've all been there, but it has always been such an amazing thing here. I hope that never changes. And my heart simultaneously aches for each of you in pain tonight. This is a shitty road and no mistake.

Riebie my luvver I can haz contacted you elsewhere x

Boo I do luffs you I think.

Maja welcome! The BESH are amaze. Unlike your "friend", who sounds like a knob.

and last but not least, ............

Moley dropped the butter dish! Moley dropped the butter dish!

eurochick · 07/12/2011 20:55

Moley Congratulations too!

Cass yep, as someone else deduced, that wasn't a real name that was a reference to our newbie (whose name was on an earlier page so I misspelled it).

Bugs it's about being supportive, appreciating others situations and listening to what others are saying (sometimes this means picking up on what they are not saying). I hope you feel that ESH have done this for you.

There is a good deal of me me me posts on here at the moment, I'm not directing this just at you. Personally I feel like people are using the Palais to offload but not to support others. That's all.

Cass & Eurochick Thanks!

DammitJanit · 07/12/2011 21:36

Oh, this is awful, because I know how dreadful things are fight now for you lugs, but statements like

'Morning ESH, nice to see everyone coming out for a win i'm just jealousd as fuck its not mine'

Don't help. Trust me, I know. I've recently lost a very very dear friend over this sort of issue.

But I truly know how shite it is right now. I came out of hospital having spent the night pretty much awash in my own blood, to the FC saying, 'you seem upset, ways wrong?'

So I DO know. Honestly.
