I want reflexology Envy I love having my feet messed with. Does anyone know if they have to be a fertility expert? If I go in and say "Will this help me get diffed?" will they look at me funny?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/11/2011 22:11

rie I think you say you're after getting diffed and they'll tailor it to that.

InTheSunshine · 30/11/2011 22:13

Rie I think some reflexologists specialise. I couldn't handle someone touching my feet. No sirree. I'd end up kicking them.

I'm in bed already. Did Zumba tonight and am knackered. Chamomile tea anyone?

Fanks Faith

So what sort of MONEY are we talking here?

InTheSunshine · 30/11/2011 22:22

The Needles is expensive. £40 per session. I used to go weekly but now she's sorted my cycle ishoos out I go twice a month. Sessions coincide with ov-ing and just before droid is due.

Oh

Maybe not then. What with the manuka honey and fuckknowshowmanysupplements I think it actually would be cheaper to import a baby from China.

AuntieDoris · 30/11/2011 23:07

I have had reflexology too - bloody loved it!

My acupuncturist has said that she will only treat me in the two weeks before I ovulate... they seem to all do slightly different things. £47 a session - ouch!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 01/12/2011 06:21

Reflexology is around £25-30 a session.

Northey · 01/12/2011 10:22

Just think of all the Maltesers I could buy for that...

I don't feel I have much to say at the moment, what with the no-getting-pregnant-before-X-ray edict. Ho hum.

AuntieDoris · 01/12/2011 11:37

As I have to pay to see a GP, and blood tests and everything else over here, paying out for alternative theraies becomes just part of the process!

I am happy because I managed to lose another pound and have now lost 10% of my bodyweight! (Even though I ate half a massive bag of Maltesers last night!)

Northey · 01/12/2011 12:54

Oh wow, well done, doris! After a shocking day yesterday I wimped out of weighing myself this morning. And now I am eating baklava and resigning myself to writing off today.

KatAndKit · 01/12/2011 13:32

Nice work on the 10% doris well done!

I could never have reflexology due to extremely ticklish feet. I think if you enjoy it and can afford it then why not though. It may not get you diffed but if it helps you with the menkul and makes your life more pleasant while you are waiting that can only be a good thing. It would be a lot easier though if you could just get diffed by having your feet touched, no jizz required!

AuntieDoris · 01/12/2011 22:07

Where is everybody?

eurochick · 01/12/2011 22:22

I'm here!

After being laid up last week I have put on a pound or two. I really need to hit the gym again.

I've convinced myself that acu is a sensible investment. I've spent around £500 in 7 or 8 months. It's a lot of money but a drop in the ocean compared to IVF. (And that's without even taking into account all of the drug side effects.)

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 01/12/2011 23:07

I'm lurking. I'm wallowing a bit. Not sure I can post much inspiring.

Well done dor, 10% loss has a huge impact on your health :) I've been weighed and measured at the gym, not too bad but would like to lose a bit more before Christmas.

AlpinePony · 02/12/2011 06:06

aries you could always put your life in balance and rock up to pollypoo's with a sewing kit and a bottle of gin. Apparently her anatomy exam went well so she'll stick them in vaguely the right place, wiggle and "ommmmm". ;)

Ariesgirl · 02/12/2011 10:14

I'm not sure I'd inflict my feet on a friend, even one as all-round lovely as Pol. Maybe I will though. And yes, pay her in gin.

Are you lurking Polleeeeeeeee? Did you see my blatant creeping compliment?

MadameBoo · 02/12/2011 10:31

She's not allowed to use proper needles until the year after next I don't think though. But if I'm still undiffed and haven't given up by then I'll definitely get in the queue!

Ariesgirl · 02/12/2011 10:43

Pol's going to have a line of menacing BESHes outside her door demanding free needling!

BrownB · 02/12/2011 11:45

...they'll be demanding gin too I think...

CaveMum · 02/12/2011 16:45

I'm here, I'm still alive and more importantly so are my parents Wink
Had one hell of a week - a 2 hour marketing exam, 2 very important meetings, teaching my salsa class and putting my folks up for the weekend.

Just found out that, after assuming that there would only be 3 of us for Christmas at our house, there will now be 8 as HWHNN's brother and his girlfriend are coming and MIL has "invited" her brother and his 2 teenage daughters! A tad miffed that she didn't check with us before inviting them to our house, but it'll be nice to christen the new house with a big family Christmas.

Well, must he off, not sure when I'll get back over the next few days.

[leaves a case of Gin and a ton of malteasers] Grin

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/12/2011 22:48

Oh buggar. I've got some work I need to finish by Monday. Cos I left early today I saved it to a memory stick. The other bits are ok but the main policy didn't save. So I have to go into work tomorrow. Boo :(

InTheSunshine · 03/12/2011 09:25

Blimey Cave that's a few people more than you thought!! Who does the cooking? It is nice to have a full house at Christmas I think.

We should be doing The Sechs today..... SSG is currently snoring. Romantic.
