Yes, kitchen hell is always hell. Given that it's new build, it's even more annoying Angry for you.

Marmite has loads of B vitamins and salt, boo, which is supposed to be good for hangovers. Maybe it's the carbs in the toast tbh.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 28/11/2011 22:10

cavey it's our Christmas present to each other but he's hogging it now so I'm back on my phone
Well I've just had 6 teenagers round playing COD and rock band, MSB and I are leading a youth group :)

InTheSunshine · 28/11/2011 22:32

Marmite is good for everything Boo. It's especially nice in toast with boiled eggs or on toast before you put cheese on for cheese on toast. Also good in a mushroom stroganoff or sauce. The list is endless.

I am reading 'when god was a rabbit'. I like it so far.

My Mum puts a teaspoonful in gravy. I must get some, it's been ages since we had any in this house. I like a very thin layer with cheese on toast.

CaveMum · 29/11/2011 10:08

Hurrah for modern medical science! The Clomid worked! Just had my Day 21 blood results back and they confirmed ovulation. Droid due approx 8th Dec - let the even more menkulling commence!

Oh yes, lovely plumber fixed my shower - thankfully not a pipe issue, which would have meant cutting holes in ceilings. Turned out to be a loose part in the shower tray thingy.

Ariesgirl · 29/11/2011 10:19

I thought you were going to say the plumber had fixed you plumbing then! An all round multi-skilled chap then?

Hurrah for Clomid!

cavey, could you remind me (I'd forgotten - sorry) what droids were like pre-clomid? Did you have any/many? This is something I should remember - sorry Blush

blonderedhead · 29/11/2011 10:32

That's great Cavey. Good to know your lovely little eggs are setting off in the right direction.

CaveMum · 29/11/2011 10:48

Ta ladies Grin

Rie [whispers] well he was rather cute Blush Ahem.

Don't worry, I don't expect you to remember details of my plumbing!
Droids were far and few between before and very light. Came off the Pill in May 2010, had a withdrawal bleed then a period about 21 days later.
After that, big fat nothing. They gave me northisterone to bring on a bleed in April 2010 before my HSG. I had another round of tablets in July before my Op and then finally had a genuine non-induced bleed in August, followed by another one earlier this month. I'm wondering if they found the "on" switch during my Op!

There will be a test on this Wink

Ariesgirl · 29/11/2011 11:06

(my joke would have been a little funnier if I have successfully differentiated "you" and "your"!)

Well, I'm glad things are moving in the right direction, Cavey. Maybe you'll get lucky first month, you young whippersnapper you.

Ariesgirl · 29/11/2011 11:12

Cave, I have made A Point on the SCD thread. You'll back me up, won't you? Won't you? Grin It's about something :( though.

Northey · 29/11/2011 11:38

Hurrah for Clomid and cute plumbers!

Was in the middle of booking train tickets to see boyfriend (I really must find a name for him. I am intimidated by the need to be witty) when my bank phoned to say my card had been cloned and they were cancelling it. So double argh. Firstly that i have minimal cash till the new card arrives. Secondly that I can't book my bloody tickets and now all the cheap ones will go.

eurochick · 29/11/2011 11:57

That's excellent news, Cavey.

CD15 here and I feel like I am laying an egg.

CaveMum · 29/11/2011 11:58

I got your back Rie [realises trying to be "cool" just looks daft]
I had been thinking the same thing myself.

North boo to cloned cards! Can you get to a branch of your bank to get cash out to tide you over?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/11/2011 12:09

Doubly brilliant news cavey. Do you think you hit the egg Target sechs wise?
Arse, am with MSB in a&e he came off his pushbike and bumper his head and isn't feeling to chipped. Waiting for doc review now....

CaveMum · 29/11/2011 12:20

Ouch Faith hope he gets seen quickly.

We might have got it right. I think I laid the egg last Wednesday and we previously did the sechs on Sunday evening. So in theory we might have nailed it (fnar). If not I've already worked out that next egg laying time will be 27 Dec, so lots of Chrimbo themed sechs for HWHNN Wink

Northey · 29/11/2011 12:26

Yeah, cavey, I can do that. It's just extra faff. And really it's the train tickets I'm pissed off about, as they'll get more expensive while I wait. Oh well.

Poor MSB! How did he manage that? Ouch! Hope there's nothing worse than a sore head going on.

Ariesgirl · 29/11/2011 13:58

Cave and Northey, you're darlings :)

But what a pisser about the cloned cards! Angry Cuntish wankers (nothing like a bit of gratuitous colourful language when the need arises)

I believe I am about to lay an egg either today or tomorrow. Tis most odd as I am only on CD 11, which is dead early for me. I may have to get Sechsy

Northey · 29/11/2011 14:06

Pot and syringe! You know you want to!

Am meant to be writing a covering letter for a job application, but instead have spent 3 hours staring out of the window and thinking about biscuits.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/11/2011 14:53

He's ok :) he skidded on a patch of diesel after coming over a bridge so speedy. Poor fella. Lots of face grazes and a cracking black eye. Day before a job interview! Still nowt broken. Doc agreed he had to come home and rest. Know he's feeling rough because he let me fetch the car from the staff car park and drive round to a&e to get him. And drive him home Hmm
He is now playing on the iPad resting while I sort him dinner.
Yes rie chose between pot and and lying back and thinking of England (better for his swimmers of course).

Northey · 29/11/2011 14:59

Aw, I'm glad he's ok, faith. Poor chap.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/11/2011 15:45

He's gone for a snooze. Have you got your day 21 test results back yet northandsouth?

Northey · 29/11/2011 15:55

Nope, but have got appointment with the inf. consultant on Monday, so we can go through them then, I expect. It's all so bloody pointless - she even admitted it was just to fill in time. I have no idea why I didn't blow an enormous raspberry at her right there and then. I'm just a bit worried that she will now say "the ovarian drilling clearly made you ovulate, as proved by the (failed) pregnancy and these day 21 results. So there's no need for clomid. Just go away and have more of the sechs."

Ariesgirl · 29/11/2011 16:01

Bum, I missed that. Glad he's ok, Faithy and I hope the black eye goes down soon.

Bah to consultant, northey. Their questions make you laugh grimly: "Now are you sure you're having sex? In the right hole and everything? And you do know your partner has to ejaculate don't you?"

Northey · 29/11/2011 16:03

God, I know, rie! I'm surprised we haven't been asked to demonstrate.

CaveMum · 29/11/2011 16:19

He he, reminds me of when we had to have our rubella vaccines at school and in response to the question "Are you sexually active?" one girl replied "What kind of girl do take me for?!" and another said "Oh yes, loads!" Girl B had a baby the following year at 14 Sad. The mind boggles that that baby is now 16. The thought of me with a 16yobin tow is frightening. Christ, that girl could (in theory) be a granny at 30 [faints]

Glad he's ok Faith, get yourself lots of brownie points Wink
