I'm a regular in conception - kind of hoping old friends will come and hair stroke me. DH and I have been ttc for 22 months. DH has high prolactin levels which makes his sperm count low. Until we see a specialist next month we've been not trying but not, not trying iykwim.
My cycle is variable but typically 25-27 days. Today is cd29. I haven't had a 28 day cycle for over a year. Internet cheapies say bfn. Must assume it's only a matter of time before the witch comes. But I feel like crap. Anyone willing to sit and wait with me?

Oh Have you poor thing. I will stroke your hair and provide you with freshly baked goods. Have you any signs that AF is imminent? I am really hoping she isn't. There is nothing like an ironic BFP Smile

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 14:32

Not really! One tiny spot, lots of creamy cm. Last few months I've had loads of spotting for days before. Tempted to drag DH to boots for a FRER. He is current asleep. I am watching Gavin and Stacey.
Thanks for the hair stroke/response

I think that sounds like a plan. Will you be able to hold off weeing on it till the morning?!

notnowImreading · 29/10/2011 15:39

First response can be a bit rubbish but superdrug early response are v sensitive and 2 for the price of 1 FR. Good luck.

hayleysd · 29/10/2011 15:46

I used the superdrug ones and they are fine, also the cheapie ones from eBay/amazon I got a bfp early then got a superdrug one to check, good luck!

LimeFlower · 29/10/2011 15:49

My AF is quite regular,I was late in August so POAS on expected AF day-negative.4 days later got a very faint positive-both on tesco own brand.Next day got a superdrug own brand and watched the positive line appear straight away with the flow of urine(not even FMU).

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 16:28

I couldn't wag into town to the nearest superdrug. Also feeling very nauseous. Made it to Boots so went with an FR double pack. Nor decided if I'll test shortly or in the morning. Bet I'll find af next time I go to the lop after spending a tenner on FR!
Internet cheapies gave.me a bfn this morning. Will keep you posted!

OP posts:
carriedababi · 29/10/2011 16:32

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 16:37

carriedababi · 29/10/2011 16:50

feel seriously lazy Blush

Purplebuns · 29/10/2011 17:07

I have my fingers crossed for you! I remember you from when I was a regular on the conception boards. I got the faintest bfp in the world on an internet cheapy and got a decent line on FR so I wouldn't swear by the cheapies tbh
Really hope this is your month :)

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 17:14

Hi purple! How are you?
What's ridiculous is I wouldn't have expected it this month! Not been a fretful tww or anything.
I feel sick but emotionally fragile. DH has sent me to bed. I couldn't get the tv remote to work so I cried. Oh dear!

OP posts:
Purplebuns · 29/10/2011 17:24

I am fine thank you :)
The month I got pg I wasn't expecting it at all and was crying for a couple of days. Hmm I only tested as I was due on and wanted to make sure I could drink at the baby shower I was going to.
I had bought a CBFM to use the following month so it is still sat in my wardrobe in its box never used! + was going to be referred to the fertility clinic. So was definitely caught unawares!
The tears are definitely a good sign, I also had an odd taste in my mouth that I had never had with previous pg. Anything like this?

carriedababi · 29/10/2011 17:30

the tears are a good sign havealittlefaith

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 17:50

Odd cramping pain on left side which I thought was ov pain but has come and gone since cd12, metallic taste - again which I usually get around ovulation but again it's lingered.

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 17:52

And now I want to cry because I'm being all mememememe and you're all.being so nice to me! :)

OP posts:
carriedababi · 29/10/2011 18:10

your allowed to be all memememe we are all!

Liveinthepresent · 29/10/2011 18:11

So similar to my story... And thats when I got my BFP. :) It can and does happen just when you least expect it.
I so remember the rollercoaster.. just go with it as best you can.
Going to keep my fingers crossed for you.

Biscuitsandtea · 29/10/2011 18:21

Oh my golly goodness Have!!!!

I so so so so so so so hope that you are pg! I will be anxiously checking this thread to see how you get on.

And as for being mememe - well, I've never seen another MNer so obliging with helping others - it's people like you that make MN work at all.

louby86 · 29/10/2011 18:22

I took a FR test after I'd had a few days crying and feeling 'off', not sick as such but just not right. Fingers crossed for you!

Biscuitsandtea · 29/10/2011 18:23

You had a HSG too didn't you? You could join Ninja and my HSG club Grin

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 18:34
