I'm a regular in conception - kind of hoping old friends will come and hair stroke me. DH and I have been ttc for 22 months. DH has high prolactin levels which makes his sperm count low. Until we see a specialist next month we've been not trying but not, not trying iykwim.
My cycle is variable but typically 25-27 days. Today is cd29. I haven't had a 28 day cycle for over a year. Internet cheapies say bfn. Must assume it's only a matter of time before the witch comes. But I feel like crap. Anyone willing to sit and wait with me?

Oh my goodness, I can barely concentrate on anything now so goodness knows how you must be feeling!!!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 19:05

Ah. Doesn't seem like that long ago we were brooking for you!
[Tmi warning] wiping/surreptitiously checking cervix reveals faintest hint of pink but definitely not to be classed as spotting. I won't be testing again until tomorrow fmu. About 3pm I started going insane, dragged DH out of the house but the nausea cut the trip short. That and this thread are helping!

Well I think you are wise to test with FMU. I'll be checking every 5 seconds minutes or so for an update from the moment I get up! Hope you have something fun to distract yourself tonight and that you have no unwelcome visitors overnight.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 19:09

Tonight I will mostly be hiding from af under the duvet and posting on the d factor thread.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 19:51

Oh yes I've seen you when I've popped back in! I'm like a brooking veteran, I was there when aubers started it - and got her bfp! Thank you.

I feel like I am playing hide and seek.

Biscuitsandtea · 29/10/2011 21:44

Oh bless you Have.

I do hope you get some sleep Smile.

Failing that, my ds loves playing hide and seek if you want some company?

Catch you tomorrow xx

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 21:48

I'm gonna watch James Corden's life story, stop drinking liquid so I can hopefully not pee in the night and then take a kalms!

GenericDietCola · 29/10/2011 23:03

Fingers crossed for you Have and I would be thrilled if you got your ironic BFP!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 23:05

Thanks guys! Well I'm going to bed. Nu af at the end of cd29. Last time I had a 29 day cycle was August...2010!
I will try to sleep. Will piar and use the FR and let you know!

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 23:06

OP posts:
Northey · 29/10/2011 23:14

Ooh faith, you have dragged me back out of post EP lurking to say I really hope this is it for you at last! My fingers are crossed so tightly I can barely type. Sleep well, sweetie.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 29/10/2011 23:17

Hey you secretly had hoped you might delurk! thank you :) it's very strange. Something unusual is afoot.
How are you feeling?

OP posts:
Northey · 29/10/2011 23:21

I am only a pm away if you ever want to raise me, you know!

Am fine, thanks. Just finished what might have been a period, but if it was it was very similar to what I think was an implantation bleed from the cycle when I got pregnant (albeit ectopically). So I am currently obsessively googling everything I can find about post-salpingectomy/post ovarian drilling extra light three day periods...

Northey · 29/10/2011 23:23

Oh God, how nice would it be if we both managed it in the same month.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/10/2011 06:31

Northey is just a pm away
Ok tested this morning - BFN! what's going on? Still can't see signs of af...no spotting even. though maybe abdo cramps have increased a bit. So maybe later? Now wondering if it's an anovulatory cycle hence the late af..

OP posts:
Biscuitsandtea · 30/10/2011 06:41

I'm still brooking for you Have.

It ain't over til it's over...... Lots of people get bfn's for a few days before a BFP so I'm hoping that's you xxx

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/10/2011 06:45

Thanks biscuits. I'm rather Confused

OP posts:
Biscuitsandtea · 30/10/2011 06:48

It's such a shame there isn't a definite way to test so that if you get a bfn you know it is a bfn iyswim, and so that a bfn isn't a possible future BFP. It is very Confused indeed.

Northey · 30/10/2011 06:54

Don't worry, you know it isn't a definite no. Just a prolongation of uncertainty until either your period shows up, or you get a glorious bfp. It's rotten though when you have persuaded yourself that this is the morning you will see two lines...

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 30/10/2011 06:59

I dreamt about bfps too!! Grin
Well it ain't over til the evil witch arrives. Assuming she does though, that just means my cycles have gone squiffy again and I'd been quite regular Angry
Northey have you poas?
