oh help, I'm going quietly mad

I'm a regular in conception - kind of hoping old friends will come and hair stroke me. DH and I have been ttc for 22 months. DH has high prolactin levels which makes his sperm count low. Until we see a specialist next month we've been not trying but not, not trying iykwim.
My cycle is variable but typically 25-27 days. Today is cd29. I haven't had a 28 day cycle for over a year. Internet cheapies say bfn. Must assume it's only a matter of time before the witch comes. But I feel like crap. Anyone willing to sit and wait with me?

Oh my goodness Faith I can't believe I missed this thread. How exciting. I've got everything crossed for you. You deserve it!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/11/2011 22:13

You are all so luffly :) thank you
I am exhausted like so tired I want to cry. Feel like I am going mad. Am everything I mocked when I joined MN - poas after af arrived, fished old pee stick out of bin, took photo of pee stick, posted photo online, asked everyone if they thought there was a line, poas when concentration would be rubbish.
So to sleep I go hopefully not full of poas dreams! and will test in morning with fmu. And then we'll see.

sleep well have x

Purplebuns · 02/11/2011 22:22

I have everything crossed, I hope you sleep well.
Lots of us have been where you are and are here for you now :)

HeadsRollingInTheAisles · 02/11/2011 22:40

Spots in weird places has been an early sign in both of my pregnancies, oh the glamour :)

Amonstercooper · 02/11/2011 23:39

Goodnight!

Ishouldknowsoon · 02/11/2011 23:49

Good luck OP the stop/start bleed sounds promising but (and I hate to say it) you CANNOT read a line after half an hour, it means nothing but a short ride into TTC hell. I have done my time re TTC for extended period and swear that I have seen evap lines after the time period on almost every brand of test known to womankind. However when I got a super faint BFP with DC2 very early days my super faint line was clearly not an evap line as it appeared within the time limit even though it could barely be seen (sainsburys own brand)
the amount of time I have spent getting worked up over evap lines after the time limit god it was soul destroying. I found I got an evap line on EVERY Boots test for example.

I know this won't stop any of us looking at tests after the time limit (including me I am sure!) but just felt I had to warn you.
I really really really hope you get the news you want tomorrow xx

Ishouldknowsoon · 03/11/2011 00:04

Sorry didn't want to sound condescending I am sure you know it already re reading tests in time limt.

The "implantation" type bleed and lack of AF is super super promising. Agree with whoever said that, if you have just had implantation, you probably won't get a BFP yet anyway.

So even if you don't get a BFP tomorrow as long as you are not bleeding I would keep being hopeful.

Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 05:33

Morning.

Reporting for duty Have. Am ready for all outcomes - let's do this!!!

And make sure you time your test this morning -we're not having any loopholes Smile

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 06:15

Ok Boots test with fmu was negative. Think I've come to the end of the road :(
Only 19 days til DH's appointment now though so that's something.

DizzyKipper · 03/11/2011 06:18

Sad What CD are you on?

Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 06:21

I'm so sorry to hear that Sad

If that little bleed was implantation it may be that there's still not enough HCG? Or (sadly) maybe it was anovulatory (sp?) hence the short period Sad

Really feeling for you today xxx

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 06:30

Cd200? Ok if I wasn't af, cd 35. But I'm thinking it's cd4.
I'm starting to wonder if it was anovulatory. I need to stock up on cheapies so I'll humour the implantation biscuits by retesting with a cheapo with fmu when they arrive.

OP posts:
Biscuitsandtea · 03/11/2011 06:35

That sounds like a plan Have - can't hurt to just check that box.

I find it a cruel trick of nature that anovulatory cycles even exist? I mean wtf? What a stupid idea for a body!

Do let us know how your dh's appt goes - I really hope everything can be resolved for you xxxx

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 06:36

Thanks :) for all your support. I hadn't realised how many lovely friends I have on MN.

OP posts:
Northey · 03/11/2011 06:39

Bah.I'm sorry.

Not that I want to give false hope, but that really didn't sound like a period to me though, so good idea about testing again when the cheapies arrive. In the meantime, don't forget to shag, just in case you actually are on a fresh cycle.

Lots of love.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 06:51

Well only the cheapies agreed if it is very early stages so I've ordered more. Since there was only the faintest of lines on those and they're 10muil I'll wait to retest when they arrive.
I still have a nigglimg abdo pain on my hefty which started when I thought I was ovulating but went on too long. Stopped for a bit but it's still lurking. Stupid, confusing body!

Oh Have Sad

You won't recognise me, as I'm a serial namechanger, but we used to hang out on the same thread and I have been following this and rooting for you. I'm sorry matey - am stroking your hair through the screen AND I am going to keep on clinging to that shred of hope for you, even though we all know that way madness lies!

Good luck with your DH's appointment. Hope you get some real solid progress SOOON x

Amonstercooper · 03/11/2011 07:23

I'm sorry to hear it, have.

possiblemaybebaby · 03/11/2011 07:58

Oh Have I am so sorry to hear that, I am still keeping everything crossed and brooking like a crazy lady that you get the outcome you deserve x

TheLittleFriend · 03/11/2011 08:04

sorry have. don't let it get you down though, you're on track with your dh's appointments etc, so it's onwards and upwards hey?

Jemimapuddleduk · 03/11/2011 08:05

Morning faith, sorry to hear about that. As ever you are being such a strong and positive lady, I have much respect and admiration for you! I hope your appointment in a few weeks go's well (we can exchange notes, we have ours a week on Friday). Hopefully you will get some answers then. Take care.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/11/2011 08:15

Yes once DH is sorted I'll be back to brooking! Jemima feel free to PM to swap more details!

Purplebuns · 03/11/2011 08:51

Sorry Have :(
Hopefully this is a sneak preview of things to come, I had my bfp a couple of cycles after a chem preg (after months of nothing) so I think your body is at least gearing up. Best of luck :)
