I'm a regular in conception - kind of hoping old friends will come and hair stroke me. DH and I have been ttc for 22 months. DH has high prolactin levels which makes his sperm count low. Until we see a specialist next month we've been not trying but not, not trying iykwim.
My cycle is variable but typically 25-27 days. Today is cd29. I haven't had a 28 day cycle for over a year. Internet cheapies say bfn. Must assume it's only a matter of time before the witch comes. But I feel like crap. Anyone willing to sit and wait with me?

Oh bollocks. I'm really sorry. Are you ok?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 06:25

Yeah I'm ok. Disappointed. More annoyed than anything - why such an unusual cycle? So long? Why start today when I have to go to work when it could have come at the weekend when I could chill out?! Angry
Just think though, DH's appointment is within the cycle. I'm hopeful things will move forward from that.

I am sure they will. It's amazing how quickly things can happen once an underlying problem is solved.

Biscuitsandtea · 31/10/2011 06:43

Oh Have I'm so sorry SadSad

We're still all rooting for you and now at least you can get in with your dh's appt etc. We'd love to hear how you get on though - feel free to drop in to the brooking thread and update us.

Thinking if you Thanks xx

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 06:45

I'm confident I'll get upduffed once his hormone levels are sorted. Once he's on treatment I'll rejoin the brooking thread biscuits! That's a promise! :)

OP posts:
Biscuitsandtea · 31/10/2011 06:46

I have that in writing now Smile

Good luck xx

possiblemaybebaby · 31/10/2011 06:49

So sorry to hear that Have

Can't wait to see you back rat smacking soon x

flixy102 · 31/10/2011 07:51

Sorry to hear af got you have. Like your DH I'm waiting on an appointment to get my prolactin levels sorted and I'm obviously going to get well and truly upduffed once that's sorted so we can join the (normal prolactin level) brooking threads together!! Grin

LauraPalmer · 31/10/2011 13:16

hello luffly FaithBaybee I just wanted to send you an un-BESHly big hug. (and give an extra hard jab in the gut to that stoopid droid)

GenericDietCola · 31/10/2011 15:52

Oh bugger, sorry AF arrived Have but glad your DH has his appointment soon and I'm sure things will happen after that.

farfallarocks · 31/10/2011 16:46

have I am so sorry I have just seen this, trying to keep off mumsnet at the weekend and actually have a life

It really sucks and I have nothing more to add than that, sending you huge hugs and hope the time goes quickly to your appointment!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/10/2011 20:37

Thanks everyone. This afternoon I was a bit boo hoo when the usual pain kicked in. But I'm curled up with my wheat bag catching up with Downton, stuck with my diet - and lost a lb despite the tide of doom- so I'm getting there.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/11/2011 07:41

If anyone is still lurking.....
So af lasted one day. Very unusual. Pretty light, minimal pain. So I decided to poas this morning. Didn't leave it long bfn. Then I rechecked it. Faintest of faint lines in the light. Could be evaporation line yes? But would appreciate hand holding for next 22 hours til I can test again. Thank you :)

Wow how exciting sounds very hopeful!!!
Was it an internet cheapy?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/11/2011 08:26

Yes purple, I think I've added a pic of it to my profile now.

Oh sweets, how exciting!

(ps...losing signal on train and we're out of fred! Yikes!)

PieMistress · 02/11/2011 08:32

I would nip out and get a different type of test (if you can) and hold your wee for a couple of hours. If you are late then it shouldn't need FMU? :)

Purplebuns · 02/11/2011 08:32

I think I see it!!!
My first line was very faint, saved my wee whilst my friend picked me up a test, did a fr and it was so much clearer.

:o :o You will have to come on the no brooking antenatal thread you know.

LauraPalmer · 02/11/2011 08:34

I see the line.

Biscuitsandtea · 02/11/2011 08:36

I think I see it too.

Am I right in thinking you have a FRER still? Are you keeping that until tomorrow? xxx

fannybaws · 02/11/2011 08:40
