So, after almost turning myself inside out giving birth to DC1, we've decided to take the plunge and try for another. Thought this would be a good place to share excitement / terror / general state of knackeredness. Just watch your feet as you come in. I haven't had chance to tidy the lego away yet and you know how much it hurts when you stand on it.
Glass of Wine anyone?

numberjacker...it's dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Suffered 11+ months last time so if it doesn't settle down there will be no 2012 LO for us. Sad

Hello to new ladies fingers crossed for quick bfp's Smile

Had scan today I'm 11.2 due 4th July. Over the moon to have a healthy little baby all snuggled up in there Smile even if it is making my sick Grin had a stern word and said now I know your ok please stop with the sickness!!

Hi Wifey, that sounds awful, can the GP suggest a prevention or a cure? Or something to make it more manageable? Sad does it really rule out conception, or just make it harder (as if it wasn't hard enough!)? Fx for you.

Congrats Clandy on the scan, how exciting. at least the sickness is probably more bearable now.
Got my booking in appointment next week, but am guessing its unlikely I'll get scanned before Xmas.

numberjacker....no synthetic hormones worked at all in the 10months I took them. Definitely rules out conception as the bleeding can get very bad. Sad
Went back to my herbalist yesterday & am on a new combination which seems to be helping so FX. Confused

after waiting 3 months after a live inject,
threw away my pill on the 17th, so I suppose just a waiting game now lol.

Mind if I join??

Been married to my dh for 3 and a half years. Im 30, he's 46 and we are trying for a little brother or sister to our 14 month old son, Tyler.

Currently on cd11 of cycle 4. Took us a while to conceive our son but mostly just because we were taking the relaxed approach for about a year and we were obviously getting the timing all wrong haha.

DH and I recently started ttc for #2 - DD will be 22mths on Xmas Eve. I'm having a :( day as AF arrived today, bang on schedule and put an end to this month's hopes. I'd been wanting to start trying for DC2 much earlier in 2011, but didn't work out that way. Oh well. Feel I just need to get the disappointment out of my system before we start ttc again next cycle (3). Am finding it difficult to deal with the monthly bfn as we virtually sneezed and DD was with us. Makes me realise how lucky we were the first time.

On the +ve side, I can enjoy a nice Wine with Xmas lunch ...

Yep I shall go wild this Christmas with my sholer and nutfree Xmas pudding!! Smile enjoy having a glass (or few) and I will keep my fingers firmly crossed that it is the last glass of wine for 9 months Grin

Congrats Clandy, its amazing seeing your baby on the scan :) Enjoy your shloer and nut free Xmas pud. You having a wee glass of something alcoholic? I was a bit bad and had a glass of cava with oj most weekend when I was pg with my son..tut tut :)

Hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine didn't end too well when I was up all Sunday night with d&v, and now I've caught a cold. Not good when the house is a pigsty and we have everyone coming to us on Sunday and I'm back to work tomorrow pm (I only work part time). OK self pity moan is over lol xx

Hobnob, sorry been out of the way for a while...huge congrats on your BFP and Clandy great to hear about your scan. Mine is 2pm tomorrow, I wonder if out due dates will be the same? Is your sickness settling down at all?

Great news Clandy, and enjoy the scan tomorrow, Purple! Can I ask you both a question (as it's a while since I was expecting DD!) Do they do nuchal scan and blood test as routine at your 12 week scan? Or does it depend on your location? I know I can ask the midwife when I see her, but I'm an impatient old bird Smile
