So, after almost turning myself inside out giving birth to DC1, we've decided to take the plunge and try for another. Thought this would be a good place to share excitement / terror / general state of knackeredness. Just watch your feet as you come in. I haven't had chance to tidy the lego away yet and you know how much it hurts when you stand on it.

A very faint but definitely there BFP! So relieved and excited! Didn't sleep much last night!

Thing that's brilliant!! Congrats!! We were certainly due a BFP!!

So this morning I did an internet dip stick and got nothing. Got up, skulked around and threw DH and DD out to the park. Felt rubbish and thought bugger it, AF is due today, I am going to do a superdrug test because I have no idea how early these internet things work. Got the faintest line ever, couldn't believe it. I was on a role, so I went for one of the coveted CB digitals and bugger me, it said Pregnant 1-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG

Cannot believe it. Am really rather shocked, had written it all off, I guess we did get it right. Now I just pray to god that this one sticks around longer than the last one. Am actually terrified of it happening again and so need to bone up on what not to do, so I can be extra cautious.

Knew it was odd that I cried at someone winning a cake competition!!! Congratulations to thing too!!

I will however be hanging around here for somewhat longer, am too scared to go to the other side yet, just in case. Just remembered I had 2 glasses of red last night... [hblush]

MPT and don't stress over the 2 glasses of wine last night. It is only 2 glasses of wine!!!! Just look after yourself from now on and bask in that glow of someone who's just got their BFP! x

Oooh how exciting two bfp's! Congratulations just been to do adsa big shop so treats and goodies galore to share! And incidentally I bought shloer so you preggers can have a glass of bubbly to share too. Oh I am so happy for you (not at all even a little jealous!!)

I decided to do a test this morning and was bfn but since no af has arrived yet I am setting up a swhi (shagging with hopeless intent ) just incase I missed a month for some reason and are by any chance ov'ing..... Hmmm....!? Hopefully I can scooch over to the swi bench asap!

Hope you are not worrying too much and I have fingers, ties and everything else crossed that you have a stress free, healthy and happy pregnancy. Now please work out possible due date, guess the sex ect so I can brood!!! x

Thanks for all the congratulations! I did another test this morning and got a clear positive so have booked an appointment with the midwife on 15th November! So exciting. Good luck to everyone else! Here's to October/November being everyone's lucky months! X

Hello ladies, am watching with interest. I think I am ignoring the fact that I am pregnant because I don't trust that it will stick. I know there is no reason to think that, but anyway.

Just wanted to add for any of you testing - if you have those internet dipstick things, do not trust them. Although I got my bfp on saturday on a superdrug test, only today did I get the faintest line on the internet one, even though a cb digi was still going strong. Wierd huh?

Oh mpt i don't envy your position must be a huge worry after last time but hopefully it was just a one off and this little one is gonna stay put stay here tho for as long as you want.... The whole 9months is fine I'll prob still be sat here waiting for af to show up!!

DP said to me today "oh when are you going to get pregnant I want a baby" haha wish it was as easy as he appears to think...

Hi sorry I arrived with my ice cream and then left - (although all the best house guests do that). We have been on a very nice little holiday and just got back this morning.

Congrats to you two preg people since I last read this, that's fab....My period is due tomorrow and I have such sore boobs that I went and got one of those first response tests on the way back this morning and tested as soon as I got home...and guess what?! BFP!!!

I have sunk about 2 whole bottles of wine to myself this week so feeling awfully guilty, I was sure we'd missed the boat this month.

So I am really chuffed but also very nervous as I guess everyone is in the early days.

I've been temping, just confirmed I am 3DPO today and we managed to SWI the day before I ovulated, so I'm moving myself over to the Waiting-To-Pee-On-A-Stick Bench. Test date is 7th November according to Fertility Friend but I might wait a bit longer after last month's 'Yank can't stop peeing on sticks even though it's far too early' debacle. I think I might have used all my internet strips up!

My god, my nipples are sore! Feeding DS is agony. If I AM pregnant, I don't think I could carry on feeding him through this!

Hey all! Well after a ov testing frenzy this week i finally got a line on the stick so was SWI for few days after that, now on day 20 and boobs are sore, but was the same last month too and then af showed up! Just going to wait and see, have glass of wine in hand in moment as moved house a week ago and have been mega stressed!!!

Anyway, congrats to the 2 newly pregnant ladies, really hope everything works out ok, will be thinking of you xx
