So, after almost turning myself inside out giving birth to DC1, we've decided to take the plunge and try for another. Thought this would be a good place to share excitement / terror / general state of knackeredness. Just watch your feet as you come in. I haven't had chance to tidy the lego away yet and you know how much it hurts when you stand on it.

Think it is more the fact that I know I am not but had such bad pains and no af got me dreaming.... Even tho would not be best timing would still love to be pregnant (Wouldn't we all ) and have very little to compare as this is first time off pill in around 9 years so not sure of cycles and they will all be messed up any way so just sit tight wait for af then resume swi sounds like an action plan to me!!

Tested on Fri just to be sure as I wanted wine - it was a really shitty week.
I thort id OV'd 2 wks ago. But surely I would'v had a visit from AF by now?

Clandy where do you get the will power not to test! Im convinced im not but I just cant help myself.

Ive got my gynae appt tomorrow aft. Ive had 3 lots of breakthrough bleeding this month, im bloating like a house end on a night. Ive got PCOS and only conceived by accident after a hysteroscopy.

What do I ask the Dr? Can I have new bits please cos mine are cleraly faulty! I would be all for transplanted innerds!!

I'm off to see my best friend's newborn baby now, 5 days old. I held him a couple of days ago- my brood-ometer went through the roof. Being at the ttc stage is even harder now!

Hiya, it's Yank in my Halloween costume.

CD13 here, and my friend has given me about 20 ovulation test sticks to use. She said the best time was in the early evening, so I've picked 5:45pm and stuck a reminder on my phone.

No worries about it going off at work, I'm a SAHM at the moment! Doing my application for childminding now and also applying to retrain as a nurse (if I get in and get pregnant I can defer entry or take a year out).

The SWI reminder alarm is about to go off now actually. I really can't be arsed. I bet DH fell asleep upstairs too.

Bugger McBugger, Just did a FR - 6 days earlier test - hahaha, and got BFN. So come on, tell me I tested too early and it will all come good....?

I've had friends go on about how quickly it can happen after a MC - they lie! Am currently about 2 or 3 days off AF. How very annoying.

Mpt 2-3 days is quite far away still so don't give up hope. Do you know when you ov'd or could it have been a little later due to mc? When you got last bfp's what day you test?

With DD I got a bfp at 10dpo and with the MC it was when I was 2 days late.

I can't be sure when I Ov'd I did OV sticks and got a positive on cd 16 and 17, and I don;t know how long after the smiley face you actually OV?? So if it was on day 16, the most I could be is 11dpo and if it is later then few days less i guess.

I am bringing in the chocolate cake though, no reason, I just think we deserve a big slice - don't worry, I didn't bake it myself.

MPT fingers crossed for you. You may well have tested too early (seems that's waht happens quite a bit from reading other posts). Maybe wait and test sat. Will be hard to wait I know.

Out of interest how long have you all been ttc#2 fo? and how long did it take ttc#1?

Me: ttc#1 6 months, ttc#2 I'm on cycle 2 (and pretty sure I'm not pg)

DD1, 2 months and then first time but that didn't work, so this is cycle 2. I was so less uptight first time around, it is like I don't trust that my body knows what to do!!

MPT I've just ordered 15 cheapie ones from Amazon. I can already tell I'm going to get addicted to them! I am going to try to hold out till cd28 for me, and if AF hasn't arrived I'll test, though it feels like she's imminent.

I was uptight the first time round, and uptight but in a different way this time round. I think in many ways before i started ttc I thought I'd fall pg in first month, but obviously didn't. Now I've gone the opposite way and convinced it's not going to happen for me.

That's the problem, they are so cheap, I got the dipstick ones, but have no idea how sensitive they are, and because they were cheap I sometimes do two.... why, I have no idea. The 4 CB digis I have are remaining in their sealed packets until I at least get a hint from a cheapy!

We got DD on the first attempt, and have been ttc2 for 6 months without a sniff of a pg. We have tried SWI every 3rd day, every other day, and now every day (in the egg zone). On the 2ww now.... Ho hum

Does that mean it's twice a day next month if you don't get a bfp this month...? fingers crossed you do. Have a slice of cake as a wee baby could be growing away inside and def needs cake for an energy boost!!

Fingers x'd for you in a couple of days MPT

Had my gynae appt but guy was ridiculously foreign - I couldnt understand what he was saying, it was so bad the nurse had to keep interpretating for me. He didnt listen to anything i said (prob couldnt understand me either, my accents a shocker) but had some blood tests and go back in a month for clomid.
HOWEVER, thought id just just POAS as well as the bottle....
... I got a faint but visible LINE OMFG!!
Tried again half hour b4 appt. Same line. Surely cant be 2 faulty tests?

Think im 15 days past ovulation.

Could this be my BFP??? I darent believe it yet. If it is will it be a stronger line if i test 1st thing 2mor?
No wine for me tonight!!!

I am good Ta had a stressful week and no sign of af, some stomach pains still but not as bad as last week. So when af turns up I am joining in the swi with avengence maybe even twice a day... (wishful thinking )

OMG Ribs, that is amazing, same thing happened to a mate of mine she decided to poas in the loo at the ivf clinic! We've been overdue some good news.

Still not convinced its real yet. Test this morning was still ridiculously faint. Got a digital one for the morn to see how that looks. Off for dirty wkend away with DP in morn so would rather know for sure or not b4 i go.

Sorry, I've been away for a while because I've been trying to keep busy and not think about TTC because it drives me a bit potty. Anyway, AF is due tomorrow, my temp is still high so I'm going to test tomorrow morning.
We managed to DTD on days 11, 14 and 15 and according to my temps I ov'ed on day 17 so we might have caught it. DH has been away abroad since day 16
I'll let you know tomorrow.

Dh ill and I am catching it too. On cd16 and still no signs I'll ovulate any time soon. Our houseguest leaves sun morning so hopefully we'll both be feeling up to a shag by then.
