Hello,

I would like to join as feel I can relate so much to a lot of what you are saying. My stats are:

Marshmallowqueen (35) TTC#1 UCL 28-33 CD 31

Have been ttc since May 2010 when i came off the pill after about 15 years. Have basically convinced myself that I am infertile and have also watched too many awful programmes/read stuff about women in their mid to late 30s. Spoken to doctor once who wants me to give it another 3 months before going back for investigation. Like others have never been in a position to ttc before now so not sure how it could have been any different. Am expecting AF any time now really...

Good luck to all of you :)

ColleenEatsVeg · 26/06/2011 13:19

AF arrived, just good to know either way even though it's not the result I was after. Oh hum next month will be the month!

ColleenEatsVeg (29) TTC#1, Cycle2 UCL38-45, AF due 4th Aug, CD1.

KikiRC · 26/06/2011 14:36

Hmm, another question (sorry!)

I thought I'd ovulated on CD13/ 14. EWCM since all cleared up, and several days of creamy/ wet CM followed. Now on CD 17 another big bit of EWCM- very stretchy appeared. And also can see a few spots appearing on my chin (skin was completely clear the last few weeks.) CP now very high & wet.

Do you think that actually I could be approaching O now, or that my cycle is just completely all over the place as it's my first month off the pill?

JosieSmith1 · 26/06/2011 15:26

Sorry Kiki I can't really help, I have read though that sometimes your body gears up for ov, but then doesn't for whatever reason, so then builds back up to it again, so if you have EWCM, go for it just in case

I kept waking up in the night wondering if I was having ERTD cramps, which I was convinced I was, woke up this morning very disappointed, had a furkle and found some discharge that I sometimes get before ERTD so had a bit of a mope, put in a tampax then went off for a ride. Now I'm home and have just taken it out, and nothing except the discharge (it's not blood or browny coloured, hard to explain really) [confused) My cycle is probably just running a bit late [fingers crossed desperately that it's not a funny cycle]

JosieSmith1 · 26/06/2011 15:27

PS sorry for all the ERTDs that have arrived Sad have some Wine and hope you alll feel better soon

weimy · 26/06/2011 15:39

Hi All

Thank you for your messages :) The age, the time, the getting obsessed and so many people being pg does take its toll doesn't it.

Had a chat with OH and we will stop 'trying', but not look into it if nothing happens. I feel much better for making this choice. I am thinking of all the stuff I can do because I am not upduffed eg drink Wink, horse riding, am dram etc

Sorry about AF all those who have been got, chocolate Wine and qvc/ebay are my prescription. Grin

JosieSmith1 · 26/06/2011 15:41

I'm sorry to hear you're going to stop trying Weimy but I'm glad you're feeling better. Fingers crossed it's what does the trick for you and please visit occasionally (hugs)

marshmallowqueen · 26/06/2011 16:10

Ok so i got carried away and just did a test as 2 days later than my average! BFN :(

Off for a Wine and hoping AF comes soon so we can start all over again!

JosieSmith1 · 26/06/2011 16:27

Sorry to hear that Marshmallow but some people have had BFNs before their BFPs so it's not over till the red lady sings Grin

cookiemoo · 27/06/2011 06:25

I'm feeling very sorry for myself as it appears my last lot of clomid has been unsuccessful and ertd is on it's way :(
I'm going to ring the hospital later for an appoIntment to see where we go from here but I'm not feeling hopeful at all. Keep thinking what if it never happens for us? Confused
why does it all have to be so difficult? I feel like a barren old hag and a complete failure!! :(
Sorry for the self indulgent post but needed to vent.
I hope to return in a more positive frame of mind later... Hmm

JosieSmith1 · 27/06/2011 09:29

So sorry Cookie Sad hope the hosp can give you more options and help you feel more optimistic

I've started spotting, which never happens, and I've had a 30 day cycle (technically I haven't started full ERTD yet so I'm assumin it'll start today) so I have no idea what's going on with my body this cycle, but I would like to thank it for being cruel and useless.

Cloclo15 · 27/06/2011 15:50

Sorry Cookie, how frustrating for you :( I have friends who had successful IUI after Clomid didn't work though so there is still lots to play for :)

TomboyWife · 27/06/2011 19:53

Gosh, it sounds like the thread is having a rotten few days.

So sorry to hear your news cookie. I hope the doctors can give you some more options. Sad

And sorry about the BFN Marshmallow and the presumed AF Josie. Sounds like it's time for Wine all round.

I've ordered a big batch of cheap internet tests as I need to keep POASing until I get a negative (or indeed a strong positive as we're being naughty and TTC this month -- though I'm not getting much in the way of symptoms so I don't think the second option is likely).

In other news, I'm contemplating whether it's possible to have ice cubes for dinner. Good grief but it's hot!

JosieSmith1 · 27/06/2011 19:58

ERTD arrived here too. Luckily I had an appt with counsellor so I haven't killed anyone, though I'm extremely upset and disappointed Sad but at least now I suppose we can look into what might be holding us up.

I blame DH, my cycles are regular so it must be him Grin I of course haven't approached DH with this theory Grin

Cloclo15 · 27/06/2011 22:25

Sorry about AF arrival Josie - go and see what your GP says, perhaps they will refer you on now.

I have become a little paranoid after posting on another thread about the difference between spotting and light bleeding. Someone on there said spotting is only what you get when you wipe, you wouldn't need a pad for it. Whereas I've been classing days when I need a pad and get about 2 50p piece worth of very dark brown blood loss in a day as spotting - I count AF as the day when proper red blood flow starts with clots, cramps and the whole shebang! There is a definite difference in the blood. However I'm now concerned I'm wrong, which means my luteal phase is even shorter than I first thought, and that I may have had my bloods done on the wrong day :/

What do you guys think? Starting to panic that I may get bad results for FSH etc because had it taken too late if I am wrong about this.

Imps7 · 28/06/2011 15:54

Arrg hello everyone!!! I've been AWOL for a while thanks to excess busy-ness at work followed by holiday (which is now over - BOOOO). My absence was clearly a good thing as there are so many new names on the list!!!

Late and Fingers - WOOOOO BLOODY HOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Very very many congratulations for your BFPs!!

Tomboy - was so sorry to read about your MC. Hope you're keeping your spirits up and have been well supported on here and in RL.

I am on day 30 of Cycle 6. Have had some intriguing symptoms this cycle (which includes some potentially exciting brown/beige pant snot on 8 or 9 or 10 DPO (have been rubbish with temps this month thanks to being so busy at work so no clear idea when I ov'd). Baby or no baby, symptoms make the 2WW so much more interesting!

I shall try to update the list with my stats....please bear with me...

Hello gals, joining you again after an early miscarraige :(

Cloclo15 · 28/06/2011 16:44

Oh no farfalla, really sorry to hear that :( hoping you get another BFP again very soon

JosieSmith1 · 28/06/2011 19:17

Sorry to hear that farfalla Sad

I'm off work next week (thank fook) so me and DH are off to docs. Can anyone give me a heads up on what sort of bloods they'll do? Last time I spoke to the doc she only mentioned bloods so I'm hoping that's all they'll do at first. In the meantime I've bought that Emma Cannon book, which is so far making no sense Confused and more ovulation prediction stick thingys seeing as my last cycle was messed up I don't really know how I stand for this cycle

marshmallowqueen · 28/06/2011 19:29

Thanks everyone for your supportive messages! I felt much better after several Wines!!

Still no AF so I am thinking I am going to do another test on Friday morning by which time I will be a week late and then if another BFN I will ring the doctor as I want to know what's going on.

Off to see Take That at Wembley on Thursday which will prove to be a nice diversion Smile

Good luck everyone, hope we get some more BFPs soon

TomboyWife · 28/06/2011 20:14

Nice to see you back Imps!

farfalla I'm so sorry. Sad Been there, done that, bought the crap T-shirt. Here's hoping for some better news soon.

LateToTheTTCParty · 28/06/2011 22:09

Just popping back to check up on y'all (and a bit reticent to move fully onto the grads thread, this pg thing still doesn't feel quite real...)

farfalla, really sorry to hear about your mc, it pulled me up short I can tell you 'cause you got your bfp shortly after me...Sad
Really hope you fall again soon, you and tomboy

Sorry to read about the ERTD getting so many of you, fx this will lead to a clutch of bfps in approx 1 month's time Wink

Nice to see you back Imps, I have my fx for you with this cycle, it's sounding 'interesting' don't you think?! Wink

If anyone's interested, I only had one pg symptom, and it's still going on - cramps, proper ERTD-like cramps. Apparently it's completely normal & may well last for months. I was sure ERTD was on it's way and then it never came, so just thought I'd throw that into the confusing mix of symptom spotting! Grin

Good luck all, I'll be lurking Wink

farfallarocks · 29/06/2011 08:50

Thanks gals, am waiting to stop bleeding :( so we can crack on.
We both feel like trying again as soon as possible, won't be counting days or POAS this month though.

At the EPU they said it was fine to crack on if we felt ready.

Tomboywife - big hugs to you, it is so crushing isn;t it?

Sn0wGoose · 29/06/2011 11:31

Me me me! :D

I'm kinda new to all this -- what're UCL & CD?

TTC no.1 since March (currently in my 4th cycle), but was on cerazette for several years prior, and also have an underactive thyroid, all of which may cause me problems. I have 5 week cycles, too, so waiting to find out if I've missed one is a long and painful process!!
