Who's in?

InTheSunshine · 10/06/2011 18:43

Good work Welsh!! And even better for being just prior to a Fertility Clinic appointment. Bloody good show Grin.

I cried like a baby whilst watching 24 hours in A&E the other night. Deffo up the duff.

LoveInAColdClimate · 11/06/2011 06:29

Oh dear, temperature has dropped right down so fairly sure I am out. AF will be along later. This was clearly a practice month for next month when I will definitely be pregnant. It will also be the first month using the Magical Baby Creation Computer so I am utterly certain to get updiffed. I get my blood test results back on Tuesday as well so hopefully that will shed some light on the situation. Plus, if AF arrives today, I managed a ten day luteal phase which is an improvement. So lots of positives really in keeping with the Thread of Optimism!

Good luck everyone else! Loving this thread!

LoveInAColdClimate · 11/06/2011 06:31

PS cannot believe all that sexing was in vain!

allhailtheaubergine · 11/06/2011 09:22

It's not over until the Red Witch sings Love. My fingers remain crossed.

Similarly to your sexing in vain, if I get a BFN this month I shall be utterly furious about my zit situation. Honestly, I look like a teenager. The ONLY thing that is making this acceptable to me is the sure knowledge that it's a preggo thing.

OP posts:
Lintilla · 11/06/2011 09:27

I have just had to break my car window to rescue the dog from DD as I locked them both in the car along with my keys, phone, bag, anything useful that might have been able to help the situation. I couldn't even leave the car to go and get help as the alarm kept going off which was upsetting the dog, which made her run round in terror, which made the alarm go off, ad infinitum. DD was laughing and found it all very funny.

It was obviously a preggo brain moment and definite proof that I am with child (despite not actually having ovulated yet according to the annoying wee sticks).

Love Sorry, obviously a practice month to get the luteal phase to lengthen. Wine

maybebabyR · 11/06/2011 09:39

Congrats rabbit so so pleased for you Grin

Keep those spirits up love Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

LateToTheTTCParty · 11/06/2011 11:42

AF due today, will be surprised if she shows up, being that I'm pregnant and everything. Grin
No symptoms to report, very boring.

allhailtheaubergine · 11/06/2011 12:20

Gosh Lintilla. That sounds a bit dramatic. Did you smash the glass?

OP posts:
Jebel · 11/06/2011 12:23

I have been throwing up all night. Surely not stomach bug, surely early pregnancy symptom? I don't think I have anything left in my body except of course for a super strong embryo implanting itself.

maybebabyR · 11/06/2011 12:47

Oh jebel you poor thing. Obviously night sickness. Make sure you try and keep something down today x

herethereandeverywhere · 11/06/2011 13:05

Afternoon all. 10DPO for me and I'm resisting the urge to test after wasting about 6 weesticks last month I'm going to wait until AF it due (Tuesday) when I will test and it will prove a) I'm preggers and we knew it all along or b) I was practising this month but the luteal phase has got a bit longer (notwithstanding the period pains since 8DPO). Anyway, enough of the boring science, I'm off to get myself a cup of (decaffinated) tea and a cake.

Glad to see the thread brimming with pregnancy and pregnancy-related symptoms. Keep up the good work chapesses!

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 11/06/2011 13:09

Well ther appears to have been some terrible mistake as AF started this morning! Obviously I just didn't make my feelings clear enough from the start and there was some kind of mix up resulting in appearing not to be pregnant. Angry

obviously this month I shall just have to be much firmer in saying that I am damn well going to get pregnant this cycle. So there!

I have gone a bought a new temp stick to replace the one I threw out In a misguided attempt to relax and let it happen. Also it is now cycle 9 since my mc which is exactly the amount of time it took to get preg last time so it is bound to happen.

Jebel · 11/06/2011 13:14

sorry to hear that hiding, that blasted Aunt was so not invited. But I like your positive thinking for next month.

Thank you babyR, soda water is currently the only thing I am managing to keep down :(

Lintilla · 11/06/2011 15:16

Hiding it was a practice month, you will get pregnant this month.

Jebel sounds awful, hope you are feeling better soon.

Aubergine yes, I had to smash the glass and made such a bad job of it! I tried to smash the little window next to the wing mirror, thinking it would be the cheapest to repair but only managed to dent it and chip the paint work where I missed. I ended up throwing a big lump of concrete at the driver's window and showering glass everywhere! Cars are actually really hard to break into. After we were all back inside I had a big cry! I've now got to ring round glass fitters to try and get it replaced. Feel like such an idiot!

havealittlefaithbaby · 11/06/2011 20:04

Lintilla that sounds awful! Glad you're all ok.
Jebel bless you, are you feeling any better?
hiding sorry the evil witch arrived but excellent progress re the luteal phase! Next month, definitely.
My boobs are so very sore I squealed in pain. And I cried when we had a minor car accident - both tried to overtake at the same time and lost a wing mirror each. Could have been a lot worse but of course I was worried about my tiny, tiny foetus! Obviously upduffed.

allhailtheaubergine · 12/06/2011 05:09

TOP TIP for breaking into a car: Use a blade and slice through the rubber holding the window in and remove the window whole.

I know this because I once locked my baby in a car in 48 degree heat (yes, 48 degree, you read that right) and was hysterically rooting through my handbag for something to break the window with when a nice chap opened his penknife and removed the window in seconds.

Not much use to you now Lint, sorry.

Well, preg-wise I'm on a bit of a downer. Turns out that an equally good reason for my terrible skin, low level nausea, sporadic appetite and lack of energy is the rancid cold I have just come down with. I am laid low, and not feeling very updiffed at all. Testing one week today if AF not arrived by then.

allhailtheaubergine · 12/06/2011 05:10

Bad luck Hiding, but I do like your resolve. You put your foot down and Brook No Arguments.

OP posts:
Lintilla · 12/06/2011 07:00

Thanks for the tip, I will remember that for next time! 48 degrees, I really would have been panicking if it was that hot!

Chin up, you are obviously pregnant AND fighting off a cold. A very good excuse to stay in bed and be brought nice things to eat and drink.

allhailtheaubergine · 12/06/2011 07:53

If by "stay in bed and be brought nice things to eat and drink" you mean crack on with the housework and then do a big shop, I'm all there!

OP posts:
AmandaCooper · 12/06/2011 07:56

Yes - make sure you ask for enough for two!

Jebel · 12/06/2011 07:59

faith definitely early pregnancy symptoms.

I am feeling a little better. Despite all the puking have put on a lb - definitely a good sign?

aubergine - a friend of mine did that in similar temperature and called the police who got totally the wrong end of the stick and tried to arrest her as by the time they arrived she had smashed the window. And you cannot be on a downer, we all spring our hope from the original positivity of the aubergine.

LoveInAColdClimate · 12/06/2011 10:13

Well, bastard AF got me yesterday but I am unbowed and will instead just absolutely definitely 100% get pregnant next month instead. Plus, much like hiding, this month I managed to up my luteal phase to 10 days (possibly due to taking 100mg of vitamin B6 if anyone else wants to try it) so this month was obviously just a practice to work on that.

Am going to try to have a booze-free month and see if that helps (aside from a wedding yesterday and two hen dos in coming weekends which I may not be able to manage without booze).

Aubergine and jebel - hope you feel better soon. Perhaps is early pregancy supressing your immune system?

pommedechocolat · 12/06/2011 11:04

cd9 here and started the every other day plan on Friday with episode 2 tonight. Lots of cm (tmi?) so all on plan. Wonder which one of the episodes will produce the little guy destined to meet and marry my golden egg?
Chin up after a bit of a wobble the end of last week. This is going to happen because I WANT IT TO .

pommedechocolat · 12/06/2011 11:05

Love - just a practice cycle to try out b6 for sure. Qualifying now over and the real deal is this cycle for you.

havealittlefaithbaby · 13/06/2011 07:03

Hello, anyone still in for this month? I'm cd23 now, 15dpo. So far longest luteal phase has been 15 but no temp drop so I'm not expecting the evil witch. Because clearly I am pregnant. Just need 3 more high temps to prove it. No point poas too early...
