Who's in?

I love love love this thread. My Dr said 'carry on as normal and don't do anything different'. Rather boring you might say ... as 'doing something different' much needed to convince DP to have another one!

WelshRabbit · 09/06/2011 22:33

Evening fellow pregnant or soon to be so ladies. POAS this evening - guess what - BFP! This no nonsense positive thinking approach clearly works - keep it up!

LoveInAColdClimate · 09/06/2011 22:39

Congratulations! Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh! So exciting!

Bumpatron · 09/06/2011 22:42

Huzzah!

Lintilla · 09/06/2011 23:10

The power of positive thinking - well done Rabbit!!

And I love the mug, Love!

allhailtheaubergine · 10/06/2011 05:44

Hello my fabulous fecund friends Grin.

Love your mug is AWESOME. Bloody love it.

Brilliant news Welsh Grin Grin Congratulations! Let it be the first of many BFPs on this thread!!

So we have one bfp and no new definite 'no's? We're all still in the running? And by that I mean 'definitely pregnant'? Good!

For my own part I still have the terrible skin. Am going to be more than slightly cheesed off if it transpires that I am spotty with no good reason. Had thought it was due to all the sexing (dh has been particularly snoggy this month) but we've had a break from the sexing and still the pus boils forth from my face. Delightful. No other symptoms. Must say that I don't feel remotely pregnant, but I expect that's just so that I get an extra lovely surprise when I see the bfp on the 20th.

Congratulations Welsh,.brilliant news! Clearly this thread is working!
aubergine my skin is terrible too, very dry around my nose, spotty on my chin.
My chart is officially triphasic. Oh yes, I am obviously pregnant!

LoveInAColdClimate · 10/06/2011 06:34

Everybody sounds so amazingly pregnant! So many great symptoms - Envy of triphasic chart, faith. Didn't get to use The Mug this morning as BFN but only 10DPO so being fairly optimistic in testing (although was a 10mlu test...). Temp still over cover line, though, although much lower than yesterday which I had managed to convince myself was the first day of a triphasic chart.

However, even if not up duff this month (although obviously I still am) the vitamin B6 has clearly done something at least as my last luteal phase was only 8 days and here I am at day 10 with temp still above line - fingers crossed.

MiniH · 10/06/2011 07:19

I know 'tis late in the thread, but can I please join? I am also, clearly, going to be updiffered is month (in fact, as I'm 9dpo I obviously am already) as my dh is about to quit his job and go back to being a student, and my job is in turmoil because new manager is coming in. Add to that a conference next week that will involve 48 hours of excessive drinking (right before my af would be due were I not so clearly preggers) and I think its a done deal.

However, am now stressing that after 13 months of ttc I still haven't decided how I will tell dh - what have I been doing with my time!

WelshRabbit · 10/06/2011 07:25

Thanks all. Must say I didn't have too many obvious symptoms, was just a bit more emotional than usual but that could have been PMT. If all goes to plan, this will be my 2nd DC - DS is 2.7. I was really spotty last time around, so for those of you suffering from that, this could be one of those rare instances where bad skin is a good thing. Sore boobs were a big problem too.

Do you think the hospital will do a scan anyway, if I turn up for my fertility clinic appointment on Monday and say "actually I think I'm pregnant!"?

Jebel · 10/06/2011 08:06

Congratulations rabbit! All this positive thinking definitely pays off.

I got very drunk last night with another TTC friend. So much so that I posted on the wrong board to tell them that I was drunk and therefore most definitely pregnant.

I am very queasy this morning but I fear it may just be due to the excesses of last night. Please reassure me and remind me again that the little shrimp wouldn't be sharing my blood stream yet.

MiniH welcome, you are in fine company.

Yours, Jebel of the no stop button

BlooferLady · 10/06/2011 08:14

ARGH! CONFABULATIONS Rabbit! Truly you are well-named Grin

Ariesgirl · 10/06/2011 08:56

Well done RabbitGirl, you kept the faith and proved that blind optimism positivity does indeed do the trick! The thread's first BFP!

This morning I peed on my first SDBC stick. It was very early in the morning and I also got wee all over my hands. No matter - I stuck it in the machine the the machine worked. It said no obviously, but that's because I am only on day 7. So in 20 days I will be pregnant too!

herethereandeverywhere · 10/06/2011 09:55

Rabbitgirl huge congratulations - you are scientific proof that calling fate's bluff with the 'ol fertility testing is the way to get upduffered. You are a shining example to us all. Good work old chapess

Cramps still on and off, this morning I cooked myself an omelette for breakfast for the first time ever, clearly PMT munchies my unborn child craving protein and I got very tearful yesterday at something stupid but can't remember what (due to baby brain obviously).

Loveinacoldclimate don't panic too much with the BFN, still early days and if it doesn't change, this month was obviously just a practice run Wink

We're all still definitely pg then? Good. Smile

herethereandeverywhere · 10/06/2011 09:58

Ooops! BabyBrain strike again! I meant WelshRabbit" not Rabbitgirl*! Blush

And as a PS: Think you should turn up to your appointment but you do need to tell them you're preggo. They have different protocols for scanning (DildoCam as I like to refer to it) if you are pg.

farfallarocks · 10/06/2011 12:23

Congrats Rabbit!!

We need to up the BFPs on this thread a bit.

I have woken up with a stinking cold and sore throat, am clearly already imunosupressed............

AmandaCooper · 10/06/2011 14:19

Congratulations Rabbit! I am letting the side down, I haven't even got AF yet. She is properly tardy. Could this thread be so potent that I am already pregnant from last month after an immaculate conception?

allhailtheaubergine · 10/06/2011 16:40

Is anyone else going about their lives looking like a normal and sane woman - wandering round the shops, chatting to friends, cleaning the bathroom - all the time with an internal monologue screaming "AM I PREGNANT? AM I?? HOW ABOUT NOW? AM I PREGNANT NOW? HOW ABOUT NOW? NOW AM I PREGNANT? I WONDER IF I'M PREGNANT??? AM I?? AM I???????"

I bet it's not just me.

OP posts:
LoveInAColdClimate · 10/06/2011 16:49

Aubergine - yyyyyyyyyyy! I start doing that the moment FF confirms ovulation (oh, ok, from the moment I think I might have ovulated no matter what FF says). Constant internal monologue describes it perfectly. I also practice speeches in my head for telling people Blush. While normally I get upset by heavily pregnant women flaunting their fecundity in my barren face (ok, pregnant women walking around being pregnant as they are perfectly entitled to do Blush), while in this stage I smile at them and imagine I am also pregnant, so presumably they think I'm some kind of pregnancy-fetish nutter.

10DPO - AM I PREGNANT AM I PREGNANT AM I PREGNANT AM I PREGNANT?

AmandaCooper · 10/06/2011 16:50

I'm not but this time next month I will be. I often look round at women when I'm out and about and think "are you TTC?" "are you?"

AmandaCooper · 10/06/2011 16:52

You are of course both pregnant now though, so you can stop.

LoveInAColdClimate · 10/06/2011 17:20

Ooops, keep forgetting am already pregnant! Thanks for the reminder, Amanda.

AmandaCooper · 10/06/2011 17:43

Hey you can't be expected to remember, what with babybrain and all. You better put a note on the drinks cabinet to remind you.

havealittlefaithbaby · 10/06/2011 17:54

Yes indeed. Usually I ask myself (especially alone in the office at work!) but clearly I'm already pregnant this month. Got the nausea and huge, tender boobs to prove it!

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 10/06/2011 18:22

Hurrah for rabbit! though of course we all knew you were pregnant so are not at all surprised Grin
