Anyone want to join me at the start of another 2 ww?

I am due on around the 11th/12th of May. This is our 4th cycle of TTC number 2, after a MC last Jan, and our 2nd cycle using a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor to keep track of things. We managed to DTD 5 times (a record for us!) in the days just before and while I was (hopefully) ovulating, so I have (despite my best efforts) got my hopes up that this month will be the month.

Anyone else out there got 2 weeks of waiting and symptom-checking looming and want some company?

af due 5th may. feel sick all evening. hope its a sign. prob sign i have a vivid imagination ;) all will become clear in a few days!

AF due 10th may. Feeling nauseous and have sore boobs. Have tested BFN twice today...
Attempting to wait until weds now.

AF due 13th May, mc in March so 1st cycle since then. Not quite sure when ov was but guessing Fri just gone - just hoping the next 2 weeks go quickly!!

Still getting cramps and thinking AF might be starting but nothing and then they stop for a while. Not in the terribly stroppy mood I often get with PMS either. Still no sore boobs which I usually get every month just before AF.
Am absolutely bursting to talk to someone, just want to find out now so can either forget it for a while and concentrate on work or get all excited about having a baby! I am dwelling on this far too much!

gah! Very torturous to be kept dangling milo i hope things pan out soon. BUT, no af is a good thing- hopefully its a slow burner of a BFP.

Still no test but no AF either. Think I ought to do another test today as have a meeting at work tomorrow and really should know if I'm pregnant as it would affect the discussion. Missed fmu for testing today but I guess that since I must be late already it shouldn't matter.

I'm doing it again, I'm googling early pregnancy symptoms. Someone slap me. Feel asleep for an hour on the sofa this afternoon.

BFN Was a clearblue digital as well so likely to be accurate. Can't believe it - haven't had such a long cycle since August last year, understand why I would be a bit late but not this late. So disappointed....

I'm slowly driving myself mad on CD19 or a 28 or 29 day cycle, I had convinced myself I wouldn't test unless I got to the 13th May but have just had spotting which I never normally get mid cycle so am thinking about getting one of the early indicator tests.

I can just see me bankrupting us by obsessively buying pg tests, please can someone tell me to be patient??

Hi pinkponey I have always tested early and wasted so much money on tests - each time when I was pg I never got a bfp until 3 or 4 days before af was due even then it was very faint and that was with first response ones - think you would only end up driving yourself more mad by testing now as it would be sure to be a bfn - I'm on similiar timings to you - CD 17 now and I am going to try and wait until 9/10th May before I start to POAS.......sooo difficult though.....cant think about anything else!!

My GP is away this week anyway, so decided I'm going to wait until next weekend, test again then if no AF and then whatever the result I can see GP next week.
ALso going to start using OV sticks from next cycle if and when it starts!

Am at the start of the 2WW, but have "hit" all the relevant days this cycle, so should be due AF around 17th May, but.... cycle was only 25 days last month so could be earlier........

I've updated the list but could have missed someone. Don't know how the other MNers do those massive threads with loads of stats. Is v befuddling!

Anyhow, I am having no symptoms at all but have looked at calendar and although I would normally be due on the 11th or 12th, if my luteal phase is 14 days then I may well get AF a couple of days before that. Assuming that I ovd on the days that the CBFM showed a peak reading.

Is that right though? Or do you ov after the peak reading on the CBFM? In which case 11th/12th is probably about right.

imaginary symtom of the day, husband says i am very grumpy.

(I say this is probably because he is a lazy, messy git who does nothing around the house and needs to be nagged)

Also, I feel as though there is no reason why I shouldn't be pg this month as we did everything right. Which is plain stupid, given that i know it doesn't work like that.

Even though I have no symptoms I just want to test now so I can stop being hopeful if it's a BFN. Stupid logic. I plan to sit on my hands until the 11th/12th and test then if no AF.

Yep, the LH surge is 12-36 hours before ovulation, so at most if you tested at the beginning of that window and got the surge then you are at the very most 36 hours away from ovulation. With the CBFM that is from the first day of peak.

I had mild crampy type feelings during the afternoon of my first peak day - but suspect that was me obsessively symptom spotting before there are any real symptoms to spot!! Most stupid thing today - driving to work thought I had a metallic taste - then realised I had split my lip and it was in fact the tiny taste of my own blood - I know you can get symptoms early - but before sperm meets egg is a little ridiculous

I started my daily testing regime today.

8dpo and negative (unsurprisingly).

I have had v few symptoms to spot this month - only cramps. No sore boobs, no dizzyness, no nausea, no metallic taste.

Thanks ladies. Then my original estimate of 11th/12th May is probably right. It seems such a long way away...

I think I'm due on today but it could be tomorrow. I don't normally keep good track of exactly how long my cycles are but I'm pretty sure they're usually regular and about 28 days. Yesterday I was very crampy so was convinced I was about to start. Same thing today - keep checking and nothing there. About half seven I started to feel the ache I often get the first couple of days when I have a really heavy flow. Nothing there. I've just been to the loo and again nothing there!

If it's going to start I wish it would just hurry up so I can get on with looking forward to trying again next month as at the moment I can't help but have a bit of hope that actually it's not going to start!

CD22 today, AF due on or around 9th May. DH commented last night that my boobs looked "massive" but he had been on the beer all afternoon watching footy with the lads and was merry to say the least. Trying not to read too much into it.

Hi may I join you ladies? First month ttc since mc in Jan. Due on 11th May. Not done any ov testing, charting or anything technical. Just been shagging til we feared it might fall off. Now deluding myself I feel nauseas/boobs hurt/any other pg symptom I can think of.

If it's any help (its not, I know) I had zero symptoms of any kind with my DD. Nothing pre period or during pg. Nada.Except BFP. After a while a bump. And eventually a baby popped out. Needless to say was uber paranoid the whole time (previous mc) but it all worked out fine. So no symptoms might not be bad news.

Ovaries crossed for you all. Here's hoping for some blastocysts.

Who is testing early and who is waiting til AF is late?

I'm going to really really try to wait, although I'm itching to test so I don't have to have that horrible feeling when you realise AF has started. At least if you get a BFN you know it's coming and can stop feeling hopeful. But then I don't want to feel the disappointment of a BFN just yet...
