Anyone want to join me at the start of another 2 ww?

I am due on around the 11th/12th of May. This is our 4th cycle of TTC number 2, after a MC last Jan, and our 2nd cycle using a Clear Blue Fertility Monitor to keep track of things. We managed to DTD 5 times (a record for us!) in the days just before and while I was (hopefully) ovulating, so I have (despite my best efforts) got my hopes up that this month will be the month.

Anyone else out there got 2 weeks of waiting and symptom-checking looming and want some company?

I am still waiting for af i'm now 4 days late, boobs are still sore, veyr confusing now. I would just like to know either way really.

I keep thinking that AF is coming but then it doesn't. Got sore boobs now but not in the usual way, just a bit sensitive around the nipples. Was nearly sick again this morning but was after a coughing fit so could have just been that.
Hopefully will be able to see GP on Monday evening - not sure whether to try another test here first - on one hand I'm thinking it may be positive and then I would know, but if its another negative this late I will be even more worried about something being wrong with me so I don't really know what to do.

Does anyone know how accurate the internet cheapy preg tests are? Do they have a high rate of false positives?

I think they're all pretty accurate when you are late. I think false positives are fairly rare aren't they? More likely to be false negatives?

Ooooo I hope so! I took one last night and this morning and they both had a faint line!! I checked and it said the darkness of it didn't matter. I need to go and get a shop test to confirm I think. Tried a cb digital this morning but the silly thing failed.

Boobs are really sore this morning, not tender to the touch as normal but general soreness all the time and nipples look really odd. On one hand I'm convinced I must be pregnant due to having so many coincidental symptoms that I just can't be imagining, but because of the BFNs I'm also really worried that I might be really ill and all sorts of horrible things that could stop me getting pregnant in the future are going through my mind. I'm trying to keep thinking that even if I'm not pregnant, so long as there's nothing serious wrong with me I will be happy.

hop ou get some answers on monday milo I wouldnt worry about it tho, its rob a cyst releasing progesterone and giving you symptoms. (hopefully its a little baby tho!)

I tested with a cb this morning just to be sure and it's a definate BFP!!!

I'm still waiting - have thought maybe AF was coming due to sore breasts and don't want to go to GP and find AF comes the night after or something ridiculous like that. I just know that after all this time I will be so disappointed if I'm not pregnant - I've really felt as if I was since I had the "implantation" bleeding and however much I tell myself I'll be happy not to have anything seriously wrong with me I still feel that I'm pregnant and am just hoping it's true...

hoping I think i'll be due between the 16th-21st depending on when I ov'd. My last cycle was 33 days but the one before was 28 so it could be any time between those dates. My parents are going to love me my brothers birthday is the 16th and my niece is the 20th! Oh well!

I've not had a chance to properly catch up with all the messages - this thread is MASSIVE! But congrats to all the BFPs and commiserations to all the BFNs.

I'm now gearing up for the next phase of SWI. TMI alert... my CBFM has me on day 10 and low, but two nights ago I had an, ahem, dream about dtd and for the past two days have had EWCM (although, perhaps just CM and not EW, [sigh], I'm not very good at telling the difference).

Anyway, DH away til Thursday evening so it's immaterial really.

In other news, the results of my day 3 blood test came back normal. DH managed to get his sample to the hosp this morning before going to work and gets his results back tomorrow. So then just waiting for day 21 tests to be done and get results, and I suppose we'll have a bit more info than we do now.

Hey ho, onwards and upwards. Once we get to the next 2ww I might start another thread for those of us not updiffed who want company while waiting... again!
