arsing hell, this is a new one even for me...

okeydokey, my period was due on friday, sure enough it showed up friday morning. it was all average etc, but without any period pains. carried on bleeding saturday until about 6pm. then it stopped. nothing yesterday. nothing today. Ive had none of the normal stuff that goes with my period (headaches, backache, cramps, moodswings) and Im a bit worried. I dont feel pg and refuse to get my hopes up, but this is a bit weird tbh.

chocolate- congrats and all my wishes for a sticky one..

sorry to hijack a bit but weirdly- exactly the same as happened to you has happened to me this month.

"period" arrived on time but lasted one and a half days- started sat morning, completely finished by yesterday (sunday) evening. we are ttc and i had the same thing when I got pregnant with DS and also with last pregnancy (mmc 12 weeks) but the difference with those was that the 1-2 days of bleeding happened 5ish days before period due so easier to say it was implantation bleeding (which it obviously was).

So what do you think ladies? Is there is any chance i could possibly be pregnant then? if so, would a test pick it up tomorrow am? or silly wishful thinking?

Sorry I know about the IVF. I just mentioned that example because I know that sometimes Gps can get involved and proactive - and that has good results - not because IVF was an option I assumed you hadn't considered. Apologies if I gave that impression.

thank you all so much, i just wish I knew what was happening, even if it was bad news, then I could process it and move on.

on the plus side, 5+4 day has almost gone, temp is up a bit but taking para now. and have managed to keep down dinner and a cup of tea. and I havent pooed for AGES! backache has also eased, still no cramps or sign of blood. so all in all, am feeling a little brighter.

tis a veritable rollercoaster

hoping, give it a go.

NL, its me, I forget how many times Ive ranted about the shitness of my cons. he looks like a toad, has fingers like sausages and a god complex.

thank you, off to bed now, just waved dh off to work and am making sure we have everything for tomorrow. I feel pretty good now, shattered, but pretty good. Im going to bed pregnant, fingers crossed I wake up that way. cried at glee. so i am obviously a hormonal wreck!

Lissie - I hope you have a good day going to see your new house. I hope it is everything you want it to be. I had to laugh at the idea of you being an emotional wreck with glee, you have every right to cry at anything right now as you are pregnant!!!! Anyway, sweet dreams and nice low temperatures.

Morning Lissie - you have made it to 5+5 with hopefully no huge temp spike in the night. Have you been on the phone for your results yet? Fingers crossed for good day and onto your scan tomorrow :)

wish I had good news. HCG is too low to signify a viable pg, and had a temp spike/vomitting last night, along with cramping today.

fuck it. I give up.

thanks, you know what? I dont even think i care anymore.

im sick of trying, and trying, and trying and doing everything right, and hoping and praying and saying to dh, maybe this year it'll happen.

almost 6 years ago to the day I was neglected and butchered and then left to fester by people who should really know better.

and now I ask them to help me put right the damage that they did and I get fobbed off, told to go on fucking holiday, told not to complain, 5 weeks is still very early after all, told that theres nothing they can do, maybe theres something wrong with MY body, with MY eggs.

and now Ive got to ring up EPU myself and cancel the scan because I dont want to go through the humilliation of having a camera shoved between my legs only to see another empty, barren uterus.

I give up.
