okeydokey, my period was due on friday, sure enough it showed up friday morning. it was all average etc, but without any period pains. carried on bleeding saturday until about 6pm. then it stopped. nothing yesterday. nothing today. Ive had none of the normal stuff that goes with my period (headaches, backache, cramps, moodswings) and Im a bit worried. I dont feel pg and refuse to get my hopes up, but this is a bit weird tbh.

lissie I remember you from your advice when I last M/Carried.

I was going to post about Dr Shehata who I have just started seeing and cost cutting but I see you have good news...so everything crossed for you

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 13/04/2011 18:06

thank you bex. i think dh is trying to pretend it isnt happening. wish i had that luxury. so its time for drugs and crossed fingers. stayathome, thank you. how are you finding him?

all the best, chick xxx

artifarti · 13/04/2011 18:12

lissie, you were incredibly kind to me a couple of months ago when I posted about a 'Pregnancy of Unknown Location' that, rather predictably didn't end well. I have everything crossed for you and more besides. x

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 13/04/2011 19:27

lulu, thank you, just waiting now.

arti, i remember, how are you doing now? and thank you. its always nice to know that your posts have been helpful and a comfort x

I'm okay, thanks. Got subsequently diagnosed as having had a complete molar pg which was a bit of a shocker but results all coming back normal now so I just have to be followed up until July and then they release me back into the wild.

I'm sure all the waiting for results/scans/etc. over the next few days and weeks and months will be a torture so will be thinking of you lots and popping back to see how it's going. Really hope it goes well.

Keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you! I really hope this pregnancy turns out well for you. You've clearly been through so much and are an incredibly strong woman. I admire you. You deserve this to work x

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 13/04/2011 20:13

arti, how awful, im so sorry.
and thank you for your kind words
malva, cheese and muggle, thank you so much. i feel pretty rotten (thank god) and am trying desperately not to think about it. but its all im thinking about. i blubbed to the nurse today that i know that a bfp doesnt equal a baby and bleeding doesnt mean bad news. when i collected my FA the pharmacist (who i know) grinned at me and said "good news then?", got me all flustered. i wont believe it til i get a scan and see a bean.

Hey, your due date must be Christmas day of there abouts ?

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 13/04/2011 20:31

lol, i can actually blame hormones cant i?

and i think so. the nurse did ask if i wanted her to work it out, i declined. but def middle-end of december. we are on the shortlist for a really nice 3 bed house too. it would be so nice to get a bit of luck. we've paid our dues. dh was soooo funny. i wouldnt look. just put it on the side. he did a double take and said "thats a positive pregnancy test" in a bemused voice Grin

WorzselMummage · 13/04/2011 20:44

awwww, are you going to ask to see a different consultant ?

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 13/04/2011 20:59

i dont know tbh, i can use their antenatal clinic if i want to and will be classed as high risk. i may use a different hospital all together tbh. after all, they are to blame for a lot of what happened. thats if we get there

Hi lissie, I've not come across your story before, but I'm in Shropshire too so I thought I'd give you a friendly wave and think hopeful thoughts for you. You sound very strong and it sounds like you deserve something to go very nicely Smile

Read your thread. From the bottom of my heart, good luck.

Oops. Forgive my crapness with faces and names (esp fake internet ones) Blush Blush Blush

Bexamundo · 13/04/2011 22:24

On a slightly different note Lissielou, there was a "should I test early". I referred her to your previous thread!

stayathomegardener · 13/04/2011 22:30

I find him honest and realistic, which is just what I need after the narrow minded, financially motivated consultants we seem to have been subjected to up to now.

Ruggettee · 13/04/2011 22:42

Lissie - just caught up with the thread, and seen your BFP. Been thinking about you all day.

I want to say congratulations, but know that you don't feel that at the moment. So sticky thoughts and prayers coming your way. I really hope that this is the one that holds.

pussycatmomma · 13/04/2011 23:13
