okeydokey, my period was due on friday, sure enough it showed up friday morning. it was all average etc, but without any period pains. carried on bleeding saturday until about 6pm. then it stopped. nothing yesterday. nothing today. Ive had none of the normal stuff that goes with my period (headaches, backache, cramps, moodswings) and Im a bit worried. I dont feel pg and refuse to get my hopes up, but this is a bit weird tbh.

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 15/04/2011 12:49

she went through the symptoms of an ep, starting with shoulder tip pain. i interrupted with "but by then the tube has erupted, if i get backache and diarroeha i will call you"

Lulumama · 15/04/2011 14:42

fingers crossed for a sticky bean xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

galwaygal · 15/04/2011 14:50

Smothering you in baby glue and telling this one to stay put. Are you chasing anyone for prednisolone or anything or just going with the flow?

Take care of yourself.

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 15/04/2011 15:08

thank you all, galway, just seeing what happens really. I am pretty resigned now to having no control at all. taking paracetamol if my temp rises, FA and asprin. bang on cue, my sickness has started, trying to keep down some water right now. have a little backache, but par for the course ime.

but christ, I feel dreadful. not in THAT way (thank god) but sooooo sick.

galwaygal · 15/04/2011 18:14

Sending nice even temperature thoughts your way! And hope the morning (ok evening!) sickness lasts another few weeks.

As a bit of distraction for you, I am starting as a volunteer on a fertility monitor study for 3 months, what's the betting I get a bfp on monday rather that the first day of the study?!!! It is not likely, but I like tempting fate!

I will be back to this thread frequently over the next few days, I will try to find some other things to keep you laughing and distracted.

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 15/04/2011 18:26

lol, how great would that be though?

who are you doing the study for?

OP posts:
galwaygal · 15/04/2011 22:41

It is with cambridge university, comparing Lady/babycomp and Duofertility and the boring clearblue ov sticks. But I get to play all for free for 3 months! At the moment I find that my normal cheapy internet ov sticks always come positive too late, and the temping is labourious and takes effort to do. I am not sure that babycomp will actually be much different from me temping normally, it just seems like a glorified alarm clock and thermometer to me. But the Duofertility gadget thing seems different. I will have to let you know how it all goes. I have stuck my duofertility sensor on this evening, I am waiting to see how long before it unsticks itself. I bet tonight while I am asleep!!!! If you weren't preggo I would send you the info to join in the fun as I think they are still looking for more women.

Hope you are having a peaceful nights sleep.

galwaygal · 16/04/2011 08:51
See if it makes you smile!
chocolatecoveredlissielou · 16/04/2011 09:14

hahahaha thats ace!

tests sound interesting though, did it come unstuck in the night?

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 16/04/2011 09:29

ps, 5+2 today. I did have a bit of a temp last night and backache, took some paracetomol and slept it off, but was very, VERY sick. just waiting now, see how it pans out. but everything looks better in the sunshine!

OP posts:
WorzselMummage · 16/04/2011 10:29

Which day does your temp usually spike on ?

Glad you're feeling ok, a bit of sunshine works wonders doesn't it :)

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 16/04/2011 10:51

my temp normally spikes at 5w4d, but follows a couple of days feeling off colour. I do feel pretty good today though, a little nausea, but pretty strong. my skin and hair look great too, which is always a good sign. I may be slightly green and puking in the bushes, but my locks are thick and shiny, and skin is spot-free Grin

OP posts:
galwaygal · 16/04/2011 12:45

Yea for gorgeous hear and blemish free skin!!!!!! More anti-temp-spike thoughts for you.

As for my little sticky device - yep it stayed stuck!!!! To see what it looks like see this utube video but you can see the device stuck on a man Hmm

Hope you are out relaxing and enjoying the glorious sunshine right now, I am going out as soon as I have finished cake-baking!

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 16/04/2011 16:14

that looks brilliant!

awful backache, no cramps. oddly, right at this minute am more worried about another ep than mc... although have just vommed up a cup of tea had a lovely morning with The Boy, shopping for his summer clothes, got him a scooter for his birthday and a dolly for my nieces birthday, going to see the new house on tuesday, Im so excited. there was a fight outside our front door yesterday AFTERNOON! and people smoking weed on our steps. we are taking that bloody house!

OP posts:
galwaygal · 16/04/2011 19:31

wow no wonder you want to move! How soon do you think you will be able to move?

I got my youngest ds a scooter for his birthday this year too! Must be the "in" thing this year.

At least you know you know the symptoms for ep and you will not hesitiate to go be checked out if necessary. It is early for ep symptoms but I know that there is a slightly higher risk for you, so understand your concerns.

Hope you have lovely plans for the evening. Since the next 48hours are your heating up risk time, I thought I would send you cooling thoughts with this:

Meanwhile my sticker is still stuck!

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 16/04/2011 20:55

lolol thank you. I do feel pretty crappy now. headachey and very sick. but not as sick as yesterday. ds picked the scooter himself. he didnt want a bike Grin it was only a tenner from smyths.

re the house, it was appalling. they are out there now, whistling for the resident dealer and leaning on our fence. i hate it, cant bloody wait to move.

good news about your monitorare you nearing SDay?

OP posts:
chocolatecoveredlissielou · 16/04/2011 21:29

scrap that, am as sick as yesterday. just later.

OP posts:
galwaygal · 17/04/2011 07:30

Currently picturing you as the dog with the fan in

I will be on start day tomorrow with the trial. I set up the babycomp alarm yesterday and it is very confusing, already too complicated for me!!!!! PMT and still equipment where you have to press this button for 5 seconds then another only once then back to the first for one second only..... arrrgggg!!!!! Then, just to annoy me, I woke up before the alarm this morning and had to try to remember which button to press to take a "before alarm temperature" Hmm PMT made worse in an instant Grin

But looking for the funny pic's for you has cheered me back up, so I hope you enjoy them too! Remember - keep cool Wink

Malvapoeding · 17/04/2011 08:14

Lissie, hoping you keep cool and no huge temp spikes today!

chocolatecoveredlissielou · 17/04/2011 09:18

thank you galway, those pics are ace!! it sounds like a pain in the arse though! still, if it works - great. they are pretty pricey arent they?

thank you malva Grin 5+3 today. shit, i just want this week over with.

scan on weds, i feel dreadful today though, i was really hot in the night and felt pretty unwell. managed to get my temp down and im not bleeding, but i did have very bad backache yesterday and diarrohea which is concerning.
