arsing hell, this is a new one even for me...

okeydokey, my period was due on friday, sure enough it showed up friday morning. it was all average etc, but without any period pains. carried on bleeding saturday until about 6pm. then it stopped. nothing yesterday. nothing today. Ive had none of the normal stuff that goes with my period (headaches, backache, cramps, moodswings) and Im a bit worried. I dont feel pg and refuse to get my hopes up, but this is a bit weird tbh.

thank you ladies, if good wishes made a difference, im sure this will be the "one" i was v sick last night after dinner (dh worked til 10) and retched at the brownies that i made (but fancied the mix) but other than that i feel ok. bad news is, my ribs hurt. but i cant take my meds.

I hope you dont mind me butting in but I read your thread and just wanted to wish you all the sticky glue in the world, I really cant imagine what its been like for you and you sound such a strong positive person, even if your not feeling like that just now understandably.

Very very good luck lissie darling. Very new to MN, but been searching old threads for miscarriage advice(which I'm going through at the mo)- and came across quite a few threads in which you've shared your losses. FX that this is a sticky one, and you have a happy healthy pregnancy Hun. Please try and get some medical advice regarding your painful ribs. There may be some safe alternative medication suitable for pregnancy. x

thank you all so much. some good news first, we have been offered a gorgeous 3 bed house in a small village. no more drug dealers in our front garden or junkies throwing needles in the back. i am also very sick. managed a quarter of a sweet and sour chicken with rice (mainly rice) and threw it all straight back up. i also have a headache. bad news, retested with boots basic and bfp is still v v faint. but i struggle with hpts anyway. just dont want to get an inconclusive tomorrow.

thank you puss. beginning or end of a pg, theres nothing i can do. and luckily i am now very vocal so i can insist on a scan no matter what if only to rule out an ep. i do feel dreadful, and it seems to be in the evening that im ill.

true, i keep telling myself that. its what keeps me sane as im leaning over the loo Grin tbh, i dont get on too well with hpts at the best of times, so either way theyll have to scan me. i have soooo much ironing to do before tomorrow when my neice and nephew come, and ive not got the energy (and tbh, dont trust myself not to vomit- from 0 to exorcist in 5 days)

bless you bex. im still only around 5w. but the escalation of the vomitting etc is bang on schedule. i still cant get excited though. its a long time til next week

throwing up is good lissie you know that right. Don't worry about the faintness of lines, you know that too.

Lissie - Huge (I know it's not very mn, but I wanted to give you a hug anyway). Please if there anyway you can get your hands on a nice consultant in the next couple of days to give you the meds you actually know you want to take (for the pregnancy rather than ribs I am sorry to say!!!!)

Anyway Brew cheers and congratulations on your pregnacy, my ernest wish for you is that this one starting out different leads to a good ending.

I am sorry I have not replied before, you always seem to announce your pregnancies while I am at work and unable to get on the internet to post without the boss seeing!!!!! But I will be watching out for your update tomorrow that is for sure!!!!
