Morning everyone, and I hope lovely weekends were had by all!
Here commences another week of mentalling.... not quite sure how I'm going to get through to my scan on Weds, let alone the wait for the bloods after that. I have now become once again utterly symptomless, except for excessive greed hunger and a podgy tum.
Silverangel - nice to see you here again, and congrats on the twins!
Izzy - I hope you had a wonderful birthday. I love guinea pigs too! Don't have any though... we are unsure where we would keep them, as it seems a bit cruel to keep them in the garden all winter, we don't have a garage, and DH doesn't want them inside.
Dachs - envious of your scan, but very glad it went well. Very bizarre about the doublediffed manager too! I can feel some shopping coming on later this week if all is well. Mainly for new big-enough trousers for work!
Teacake - feeling any less fragile yet? Sorry, no idea how to stop the MC dreams. Mine were eventually replace by other anxiety dreams, e.g. last night dreamed both DD's front teeth (2nd teeth) fell out overnight into her bed, and I was chasing around for an emergency dentist who eventually just said get her to lick them clean and poke them back in! (I'm sure that's not dentally accurate...)
Collie - glad you found the service calming - hope you're doing okay now and enjoyed the lovely Lakes.
MamaP - have you surfaced yet? How did things go?
Nix - hip hip hoorayy for your triple good news!
Velvet - hope you are feeling better soon.
MummyA - loved the link - made me chuckle!
Knitter - glad you are doing well - countdown to the scan getting a bit closer now.
Orange - grrrr to your mum... and thank goodness for an understanding MIL. Spill the beans - who dared put a hand on your tum?
nina - good luck for your scan today.
Kat congratulations and welcome!! Here's hoping your little faint line gets darker nice and quickly!
Mattsmama - hope you are managing to stay calm... will have fingers firmly crossed for you also on Wednesday.
Hils - I think your MW will only book you a routine dating scan at 12ish weeks. If you are hoping for a dating scan asap, it depends on your area. Some places seem to do "reassurance" scans before the official dating scan if you ask your GP nicely, some only do earlier scans if you have symptoms like bleeding or pain.
Owl - glad it's not just me eating for Britain! My MW told me to "listen to my body!". My body says eat... but maybe I should show some restraint, as I don't want even more extra lbs to shift at the end of all this....
