Newly pregnant after miscarriage? Here is a nice place to hang out and swap symptoms and worries until you are brave enough to sign up to the grads thread.

Owl I'm loving your list. It's so good because it's so true.

Daisy You're sounding in better spirits today. I'm glad your mw has signed you off for a few more weeks.

Collie & Izzy good luck with the CB tests. I would use FMU to make sure it's concentrated enough. Don't worry too much if it doesn't read as accurately as you want it to (easier said then done).

Velvet I hope you're feeling better tonight.

Thanks for the good wishes this morning ladies. The dating scan was more reassuring than I expected. I saw lil sweet pea's heart fluttering away, which was fabulous. I had mentally prepared myself that I wouldn't see anything. The dating scan put me at 6 weeks exactly. I've since been googling the risk of mc after seeing a hb- and I'm glad to see that it drops significantly, although I realise people have suffered a loss after seeing a hb.

So less mentalling for me today. Symptom spotting was satisfied today. I woke up to my worst ms yet! I've felt dreadful for most of the day (especially before & after meals). I don't know how I'll cope at work if it gets any worse! What if I need to throw up in the middle of a meeting, or worse...whilst I'm presenting!!! Not a great day for our MD to be glued to my hip.

P.S PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT FISH!!! My friend told me that mackerel was really good for you...so I tried it a few weeks ago. I couldn't even swallow it- ran straight to the loo. YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!!

I'm ready to go on the list now:

lol glad to see we have other fish haters here too :) However, I am thinking about peppered mackerel now.

Ninu glad you had a good scan and that you have ms (must be horrible but symptoms are reassuring!)

arrghh tunnocks 10th April isnt too far away.

It's all getting exciting around here after to much bad news over the past few weeks Grin

I still feel shite so I'm having another day off tomorrow. Funny how your perspective changes when pg, usually I would drag my arse in however bad I felt.

Collie2 · 28/03/2011 20:32

ohh ninu i am sooooo Envy of your fluttering hb. But really pleased for you, you must be on cloud 9 today. Congratulations hun.

Exciting tunnocks on your 12 week scan date. Sorry about your ds though x

IreneHeron · 28/03/2011 20:42

Orange Vbac is vaginal birth after c-section. I shouldn't even be thinking that far ahead yet I know, but I can't help dreaming. I'm only mentalling about not feeling sick and am feeling pretty positive about this pregnancy. I hope it doesn't hit me in the arse though when I have my scan. I'm not even checking my pants.

I second what Wombat said. Would everyone please stop talking about fish. Makes me retch.

Daisy Hope getting signed off helps you feel less stressed out.

mattsmama · 28/03/2011 21:53

Ninu lovely news on your scan. You must be feeling so much more relaxed now Smile

Hello everyone else! Grin Laughed out loud when I read banana and daisy's finger shenanigans. Think we've all done it at least ten times!!

Think I agree with pink re the ClearBlue digis. I have been very tempted to buy another but I AM NOT GONNA DO IT.

Hope your all okay - 2 more days before my FIRST SCAN. I have to go to London for it and as I live in Leeds - I can't help thinking how I will feel if it doesn't go to plan. It's such a bloody long journey home. Please, please let it be okay Smile

Ninunina · 28/03/2011 22:00

That's a long way to go for a scan Mattsmama Why do you have to go so far? Hopefully you'll be grinning all the way home.

katherine2008 · 28/03/2011 22:06

stop with the fish - i'm gagging too...

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 28/03/2011 23:54

Fab scan news ninu !! Grin Grin

mattsmama that is a really long way to go for a scan - i assume there's a reason you're travelling, so hope the journey goes ok (on Wednesday?) and that you have a lovely scan

I've now surely reached the height of sadness; the teetering mound of peesticks carefully stacked in date order on the bathroom shelf was threatening to fall so I've just been through and date-marked them all before putting them away, so I can get them out whenever I want and line up in order Blush God help me, I used to be really quite rational Confused

Night, all x

kat2504 · 29/03/2011 06:49

izzy I have been opening up the clearblue tests from Saturday and today. Surely just as sad! They have two strips inside so have had to do some serious internet research to figure it out. Annoyed that it hasn't gone up to 2-3 weeks yet, but one of the lines does look a bit bluer now - must try not to panic!

Collie2 · 29/03/2011 07:53

CB digi said 3+ weeks today Grin so I?m adding myself to the list (yikes!!) Had totally convinced myself that it was going to be too low so spent about 10 mins just staring at it this morning! Feeling mildly reassured.

Collie2 · 29/03/2011 07:54

OMG thats very scary seeing it up there in black and white.

banana87 · 29/03/2011 09:00

Mild freak out alert: This morning when I wiped there was a string of CM that was mainly green but had brown tinge to it. Could it be that progesterone leaking out is preventing brown CM from coming through? So that I am blissfully unaware that things are going pear shaped again? On subsequent wipes there was just white (presumably left over suppository).

On another note, I feel very much like I have been hit by a bus this morning...

Sorry for me me me.

Youremindmeofthebabe · 29/03/2011 09:01

Ladeeez

The list over on ttc after mc is getting V long. Particularly lovely is the massive list of BFP's. However is anyone ready to be classed as a graduate? I don't really want to remove anyone from the BFPs without going on the grads.

I'm looking at anyone around 12 weeks, perhaps emoo, tigger, pink, mamap, and dachs? Just yell at me if you're not readySmile

LaraMi · 29/03/2011 09:04

Banana - don't freak out.... All manner of things is happening to our bodies internally and we can't analyse each and every drip (couldn't think of another word). Just chill and go and have a huge pain au chocolat / almond croissant!

DoubleDiffedDachs · 29/03/2011 09:20

yrmotb I'm not ready yet.. sorry :( I've got my scan tomorrow and appointment with the obstetrician on Thursday - I may feel differently after that, but at the moment I still don't feel pregnant and am quietly mentalling away trying not to obsess about things (the latest obsession is poring over the pictures from the last scan and convincing myself that at least one of them has an oversized nuchal thickness and am therefore totally paranoid about tomorrow)

banana brown is nothing to worry about - most of us here have had lots of brown. I second larami's suggestion of a nice almond croissant - yum :)

collie good to see you on the list :)

Wombat33 · 29/03/2011 09:38

YRMOTB if I'm still on the BFP list you can put me on the grads xxx

Youremindmeofthebabe · 29/03/2011 09:46

ok dachs

You are wombat- I'll move you later. Ta x

Velvetcu · 29/03/2011 10:14

I want an almond croissant.... and a pain au chocolat!!! You lot always make me hungry Grin

YRMOTB lovely to see you in here, let's hope it's permanent soon. I was gonna say move me even tho I'm not 12 weeks but as I thought it I had a wibble so best not to!

So day 4 of flu and the snot is on the move which is a good thing! Work have called to check I will be in tomorrow coz I have arranged a workshop for my yr 11s!

DH and BIL have done nothing around the house while I have been ill so there is not a single clean plate, knife or fork so I'm off to do the washing up in a minute.

Collie well done for getting on the list. It is scary seeing it but lovely as you see the days/weeks go by.

banana don't panic, I have had a wide range of goo colours and so far all is ok.

dachs sorry you are mentalling. After your scan tomorrow you will be able to chill out and enjoy it :) stop looking at the pictures, you are only stressing yourself out.

izz and kat I only peed on 5 sticks and 2 of them were cb digi which of course arent on any more. Izz will you get the sticks out to show beans first g/bf, along with the baby pics Grin

Have a good day everyone

LaraMi · 29/03/2011 10:17

Good luck with the scan Dachs - will be thinking of you. Stop obsessing - your pups will be fine. (Remember - the tenth commandment says we're not allowed to behave like Dr Google!)

I'm not even ready to put myself on the BFP list until I have an early scan and see a little heartbeat!

PinkFondantFancy · 29/03/2011 10:18

Hello YRMOTB you can put me on grads too - I have pretty much done everything to goad the jinx pixies so one more thing can't hurt Confused

I feel hooooorible today. I've called in sick because I got no sleep at all last night - have been feeling really breathless and had a pounding heart when I've been trying to sleep. V scary Confused. My results of consulting Mr Google at 2am were mildly reassuring though, apparently progesterone makes you breathe deeper which can make you feel winded, even if you're not doing anything, and especially if you're lying on your back. Apparently the scary heart thing is a result of the extra load on your circulatory system of being diffed. Experienced ladies - please tell me my body isn't actually breaking and this is normal????

Also am quite scared because the latest news from the clinic is that my immune cells have woken up and I need intralipid or IVIg to calm them back down. Confused Am gutted that every time I start to relax a bit, some new scare comes along. So I am mainly spending my morning googling this stuff to try and get a list of questions to grill the clinic with later on and make sure that a) I do actually need this stuff and they aren't just trying to make some more money and b) whether anyone has actually proved it is safe. Arrghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghg

Sorry for mememe - v. stressy today.....

PinkFondantFancy · 29/03/2011 10:19

velvet lock both DH and BIL in the shed with the washing up bowl and all the washing up. grrrrr that sort of behaviour is just not ok!!! Angry

mattsmama · 29/03/2011 10:22

Ninu and Izzy - I am under Mrr Shehata for high killer cells and high thyroid antibodies and he is based in London so that is the reason for the lengthy journey. I'm hoping it will all be worth it - lovemysleep is also under Mr Shehata.

Izzy - made me laugh when I read that you have been dismantling the preggo testers. I have done that so many times and got splashed in the eye in the process with WEE! Why do we do it to ourselves!!!

Have a lovely day everyone Grin

nickstermum · 29/03/2011 10:31

Pink, chill babes, its normal. Dont sleep on your back x You arent supposed to later on in pg as it can lie on the oxygen supply (?) or somethng, maybe its just in a funny position ? Try your side with pillows wedged up under bump, between knees etc? Open a window and get that cool air circulating - might help! I cannot sleep without the fan going atm, windows shut cos the birds start at 4am (and i live rural!) so the fan has been a godsend :) Great that they have picked up on your immune system hon :)

velvet great news you are feeling more human x sod the washing up
dachs best of luck for today. Those pics you can hardly see anything - dont fret. My bean looked legless and faceless :) i can assure you all is fine with mine :) xx

Banana - goo of all colours is a given on this thread...

Well... its all moving and going well at ChezNicks Grin DH is darn sarf flat hunting, job secured, package agreed, just got to sort out a budget for running two householdsConfused and get him kitted out for a bachelor lifestyle.... whilst he leaves single pregnant wife at home...Grin.. also got to get the house secured in terms of extra locks, fire ladder etc so i can sleep at night knowing i can get me, DS and bump out in the event of emergency in the middle of the night if need be. Sounds a bit daft... but i have always worried about that. Heres hoping 2011 is our year xxx

mattsmama · 29/03/2011 10:38

Katherine2008 good luck with that first scan! FX for you
