Oh Tanif I didn't realise that either. I'm so sorry :(

maybebabyR · 23/03/2011 13:13

Ah, I'm so sorry tanif

I MC in December after falling on the pill too. Hope you are feeling stronger now x

Tanif · 23/03/2011 13:15

maybe I noticed your story in another thread, it's very similar to mine. spidookly and molly I don't get too upset about it... we hadn't been planning a baby and I wasn't really pregnant long enough to actually accept I was pregnant, if that makes sense.

Anyway, just had a chat to my mum, and apparently it took her six months to conceive me, and three or four months to conceive my brothers, so I probably should just chill out :) this is a great place to be, it's nice to have people that will give out hypothetical slaps when they're needed.

spidookly · 23/03/2011 13:24

Oh no, that was not meant to be a slap :(

I'm sure a MC must make that feeling so much worse, but I have felt like you describe. I was just saying that our feelings about it don't have much of a relationship with reality, not that they were silly or wrong.

Tanif · 23/03/2011 13:31

I don't mean a literal slap... more a reality check. Anyway, I've decided since it may take a few months, it's probably worth getting my body into the best shape I can. Started a diet last week and just got weighed, I've lost 7lbs! Hurrah!

MollyDefoe · 23/03/2011 13:33

Wow, that's amazing! 7 pounds in a week?!
Tonight I'm going to a local running club for the first time. I think it's going to hurt a LOT :(

spidookly · 23/03/2011 13:34

7lbs in a week? Envy

Brown goo status = gone

Iggly - I won't be testing on Friday now. I'm pretty sure there's no point.

iknowanoldlady · 23/03/2011 13:38

Tnanks spidookly... think I will not feel safe about adding it until actually past AF due date, wish I was sensible enough not to have tested until then! Sorry about mc Tanif, it is bound to put you on edge.... I worry for Britain as it is and have so far been so lucky with all this business.

iknowanoldlady · 23/03/2011 13:38

Thanks I mean, doh.

Tanif · 23/03/2011 13:40

spidookly what do you mean brown goo has gone? Gone and nothing is there at all or gone and replaced by ERTD? You have nerves of steel to not test!

spidookly · 23/03/2011 13:55

Gone and replaced with nothing.

Tanif · 23/03/2011 14:08

A couple of days of brown goo followed by nothing doesn't sound like a let's not test situation to me. Please test! You're killin' me smalls!

MickyLee · 23/03/2011 14:10

Sorry about the MC's Tanif and maybe :(

Was going to add lots to that but decided not too. Sometimes words just come out so different to what you mean to say and wouldn't want to say the wrong thing.

FX for some BFP's now :)

MickyLee · 23/03/2011 14:12

Can you imagine if spooks (your new nickname from me) was 3 months pregnant and never knew because she wouldn't test Grin

maybebabyR · 23/03/2011 14:13

Grin mick shall we start a book...

spidookly · 23/03/2011 14:14

Yes, I'm 5 YEARS pregnant :o

I will test on Monday if all stays at is.

There just hasn't been any brown goo yet today. It'll be back. Or tide of doom.

Tanif · 23/03/2011 14:35

She'll be going into labour and still insisting she's not...

Iggly · 23/03/2011 14:37

Monday?! spidookly, I thought AF was due Friday Hmm Grin

MickyLee · 23/03/2011 14:39
Grin

You girls are funny

LB1982 · 23/03/2011 14:41

Afternoon all. Quick Q. It occured to me the other day that I only ever get what I believe to be ovulation pains on my right side. I get this 'ovulation pain' every month - but I thought the ovaries take turns in releasing one egg. Learned this from my friend who had an ectopic pg and had a tube removed (basically, the doc told her that she'll now ovulate once every 2 months - becuase of the missing tube).

I have done a little googling but I can't find anything and wondered if any of you know more?

Thanks in advance Grin

Tanif · 23/03/2011 14:47

LB I read somewhere it was more common to feel it on the right side. Not sure why.

LB1982 · 23/03/2011 14:52

Thanks Tanif :) Maybe I'm imagining things and I only feel the pain once every two months - Although hopefully I won't have to feel it for 9 months Wink

spidookly · 23/03/2011 15:13

Iggly - AF was due tomorrow.

But it has made something of an appearance and the silver lining of that appearance was that I got to have a nice weekend going out with friends from work.

I don't want to be pregnant this side of the weekend, basically.

Also, I don't think I am. So I just can't be arsed agonising about it.

And finally, I don't know where the second test is that came in the box of 2 I bought when my period was late with DD2. So I can't test, can I? I really have no idea where it is and I'm not buying another one Wink

LB - I'm going to remind you you said that when you're 8 months pregnant, OK? :o

BoogiesBunny · 23/03/2011 15:39

LB I think it depends on every woman (like all these things!). I mostly get pains in my right but occasionally on my left and always assumed it was a 'who was ready first' thing - as long as it happens I don't mind!

A colleague just asked me when I was going on maternity leave - I didn't know what to say (as I desperately wanted to say in 8 months time!) but didn't want to give anything away so tried to play it cool (by mumbling - nice). Anyway - text DH and told him to make me go to the gym tonight, no more excuses! He has said - 'no gym, no sex' - that'll do it!

Iggly · 23/03/2011 15:41

The voice of wisdom, you are spidookly! glad you're so chilled. I, on the other hand am the voice of denial with a proper BFP I don't believe it. If I'm honest, I love this bus so much I can't bear to leave Grin
