I just googled AF becuase it's not on the acronyms page and it's been bugging me for days what it could be lol Grin

I'm now eating pineapple because I've heard it helps implantation Wink

sevendwarves · 22/03/2011 15:04

Thanks carmen

Karbea · 22/03/2011 15:05

Afternoon all.

How are we all? I am so so tired!

OH has a family middle name if it's a boy, it's a funny kind of name, more like a surname...

Still no symptoms really, my belly has been a bit odd, and i've been going to the loo ALOT more than usual, but I think that's more to do with the fact i'm eating healthier!

whitegold · 22/03/2011 15:07

Hi ladies, I posted yesterday about getting spotting a couple of times last week and what it could possibly mean, but af got me last night and is well and truly here today (6 days early too!) so I have no idea whats going on, only that I am definitely not pg! Sad Trying not to be too disappointed though as we weren't really expecting it to happen on our first try.

I worked out that if this cycle is the same length again then I will have a due date of 28th December, so will stay on this bus for now if you'll all have me?! Will change myself on the stats with my amended cycle length...

BlueCrane · 22/03/2011 15:09

I've been trying not to think about names but do have a secret list on my phone which I add ones like to Blush ...though v short of boys names at the mo! Not really got around to telling DH about the list though... Hmm

Sorry about AF sassy Sad ...but maybe you can bring some order to the unruly lot at the back of the bus?!? Wink

whitegold · 22/03/2011 15:11

haha I too have a secret names list - in the back of my diary! The OH knows nothing about this of course... Grin

sevendwarves · 22/03/2011 15:12

Blue :o

Sorry whitegold, you're welcome to stay though

Tanif · 22/03/2011 15:13

Are we all keeping the names to ourselves to prevent mass name theft lol?

BlueCrane · 22/03/2011 15:13

ooh and whitegold Sad

MollyDefoe · 22/03/2011 15:14

:) Tanif! OK, here goes: I like Benjamin for a boy (a bit boring, I know), and Molly or Jessica for a girl.

Tanif · 22/03/2011 15:17

Molly they're really nice, I love traditional names. Like I said, my arm is being forced into Thomas Alfred for a boy, but I love Emily Grace for a girl...

BlueCrane · 22/03/2011 15:17

Glad I'm not the only one with secret list of names..makes me feel a bit better! If we're doing confession time then Blush Blush I also have a few items of mat clothes stashed at the back of my wardrobe that I spotted in the Jan sales just as we were starting TTC...naughty I know but they were so reduced that it seemed silly not to Hmm Have definitely not told DH about these as he would probably freak and be a bit cross as he worries about the risk of MC etc and says he wants to wait until 1st scan before buying anything...oops Blush

Karbea · 22/03/2011 15:18

I like Nathaniel (Nate), Edward, Sebastian (although OH Nephew is called this, so could never have it). I like Grace for a girl... I also like another name, but can't think of it...Hmm

maybebabyR · 22/03/2011 15:20

Lovely names moll and tanif I like Ruby or Eva for a girl, and Charlie and Alfie for a boy.

Grin at blue But my DH is the bad one. We already have one of those baby towels with the built in hood thing in the back of the wardrobe, along with a little jumper!!

MollyDefoe · 22/03/2011 15:20

Tanif - Those are lovely names! Thomas Alfred is a fab name - really distinguished! And I love Emily Grace: one of my colleagues has the sweetest toddler called Grace...They're names which are good for both children and adults too...not too childish, not too grown-up!

MollyDefoe · 22/03/2011 15:22

Ah, you all have lovely ideas for names!

whitegold · 22/03/2011 15:24

Thanks ladies Smile

bluecrane I haven't actually bought anything yet but would definitely have done the same as you if I saw good things in the sales!

In the meantime I must confess to spending far too much time browsing baby websites like mamasandpapas, mothercare, etc, and picking out items for the future like prams, cots, etc! DH would go mad if he knew I was doing this when I was pretending to be working Blush

sevendwarves · 22/03/2011 15:31

I like James for a boy and Rose for a girl.

I bought some bodysuits as part of a present for my DSis when she was pregnant which I deliberately forgot to give to her Blush

MollyDefoe · 22/03/2011 15:33

Mmm, I really like Rose too, but my DP's ex was called Rosie, so I think it's probably a bit too close for comfort...

rew108 · 22/03/2011 15:34

Argh!

Really tingly boobs, feel nackered, continuously hungry and headachey... Then I just think oh i'm being over sensitive to what my body is doing... I wish I new when to expect af!

spidookly · 22/03/2011 15:35

:o

I've had a "secret" baby names list or other on the go since I was around 10 or 11 Blush

It's like those girls who dream of their wedding all their lives, only more weird.

spidookly · 22/03/2011 15:40

Karbea someone was suggesting Nate on a thread the other day and I suddenly realised how swoonsome it is.

Gorgeous. Also love Sebastian.

I am way more into boys' names, which seems to be unusual.

Tanif - Emily is DD1's middle name. I love it. :)

maybebabyR · 22/03/2011 15:45

Grin spidookly you are so right!

Everyone has such lovely names!

Samantha16 · 22/03/2011 15:55

Can i jump on too!! me and my partner are trying and have been since december after been on the implant for a year so i am hoping 2011 will be my special year (grin) i am due my period at the end of this month (hopefully not!!)

Iggly · 22/03/2011 15:55

Grin at secret names. I'm not one for sharing names - didn't for DS til her arrived. I have had a go on the MN name finder - it's funny!

Am dreaming of maternity wear though.

Welcome thecake! what kind of cake would you describe yourself as??
