No harm in mentioning it

BlueCrane · 22/03/2011 22:23

seven sounds like a plan to chat to the nurse about TTC and suspected early ov re. smear. Hope it goes ok!

spidookly · 22/03/2011 22:25

Shit seven sorry, meant to say earlier to have the smear and just mention it. Got distracted by some antics or other. Redundant now, but wanted to say I did give it some thought :)

MollyDefoe · 22/03/2011 22:37

Oh god, I definitely meant yum to the pizza, and definitely NOT to the EWCM/semen test water [gag]!

Just back from RL food: tagine, not pizza, but yum. Although am shattered and my breasts are really sore :( am currently 10dpo, with a usual LP of 15 days. I know I shouldn't test until AF is due, but seeing as this is my first ever 2ww, do you think I can test early? Just this once? (not sure who I'm asking for permission!)

Poppyjen · 22/03/2011 22:37

spidookly did test today as had similar thoughts...BFN on dreaded internet cheapy (as didn't have any others) so still Confused. I had this type of CM a lot when pregnant with DS, but its been so long since I have had a pill-free cycle I can't remember whether this happened when not pregnant and on my own home-grown hormones....

Still hoping that my ovulation guess-date is correct and that things will resolve themselves next week one way or another.

maybe fx for us both then, lets hope its a good thing!

Feeling super-emotional today, just sobbed in a heap on the floor when I couldn't take a blind down (in advance of windows being replaced tomorrow). Poor DH doesn't know what to do with me...made me a cup of tea though which was nice Smile

cookiemonster100 · 22/03/2011 23:13

Ahh Poppy what a nice hubby!! They do put with our antics sometimes!!
Think AF is coming tonight. Spotting a bit and not going to kid myself it is anything different. Decide to make appt to spk to doc re TTC as it is starting to get me down and need to take some action.

spidookly · 22/03/2011 23:24

:(

Awww cookie, me old due date mucker. Come on down the back here and have some cake.

That is a good idea to make a doctor's appointment, I think. 6 cycles is not really all that long, but good idea to get the ball rolling since these things can take a while.

Molly even if you're going to test early, give it another few days before you do. You've another week to wait if you were to go the distance, it's probably a bit pointless at this stage.

spidookly · 22/03/2011 23:26

Oops!

BlueCrane - sorry forgot my knicker update - still brown goo

Shelbury · 23/03/2011 06:32

Morning all!

This is the busiest bus ever - is there a tube strike on or something?

Not much to report here other than I've completely gone off tea which is a pain as I love the stuff.

I went to another floor at work yesterday and the secretary there took one look at me and guessed I was pg - she was very discreet though and I've known her for years so didn't mind. So either she is psychic or I was wearing a really unflattering dress...

Fx for everyone testing this week, Thinking have you tested yet this morning?

Oh and I love Nate for a boy too!

Morning all!

You had me wanting pizza last night but ended up having pasta with cheese instead!

So I was a little bad this morning and did a test. I got a faint but definitely there BFP! I am going to test again on Saturday just to make doubly sure. Am cautiously excited at the moment!

75sarah · 23/03/2011 06:44

Wow, Londongirly.
That sounds like a congratulations to me. CONGRATULATIONS Smile

PopsyWind · 23/03/2011 06:51

Congrats LG!!!

spidookly · 23/03/2011 07:15

London - hurray! :o

We really needed a nice BFP after all those pesky AFs, but it was hard to see where it was going to come from.

Are you really not going to test again until Saturday? Wow.

Bet you test again tomorrow morning :o

This is your first, right? How very, very exciting! :) Can you believe it?

:o

Poppy - how perplexing. You're amazing at keeping your cool through all this :)

Iggly · 23/03/2011 07:15

Congratulations LG!

Thinking, how are you today?

weimy sorry to hear about AF although as I said to spidookly, it's not over until it's in full flow [tmi]

My brown spotting has stopped for now. So starting to believe it could be real.

spidookly · 23/03/2011 07:18

Oh Shelbury - some people have a weird 6th sense about pregnancy, don't they?

It kind of freaks me out :o

Hope you're feeling well :)

MickyLee · 23/03/2011 08:11

Morning Ladies.

Congratulations london

Good luck with the smear seven

All good here.. hanging on with the dreaded 2ww. Due AF on Sat so not much longer to go now. Resisted POAS so far

shines halo

blushingm · 23/03/2011 08:21

hi - can i join your bus? AF was due 14th but no sign as yet. Having a lot of wierd cramping though Confused

MickyLee · 23/03/2011 08:23

Welcome to the bus blush Have you tested? sounds quite promising :)

blushingm · 23/03/2011 08:26

i did a clearblue digital on friday and again on sunday but got 'not pregnant' so i have so clue what is going on? Is cramps a good sign or just a sign of the evil AF getting my hopes up and then dashing them???? - she's a witch!!!

blushingm · 23/03/2011 08:28

i have ordered some internet cheap ones though Blush. It says ultra sensitive (10mlu or something) same ones as nhs use - is that good?????

Iggly · 23/03/2011 08:40

blushing they are sensitive but can get your hopes up if you get a faint line -if you end up having a chemical pregnancy which ends with an AF like bleed. If you hadn't use the cheapie, you'd never know. However I've used them and got a faint line nearly a week ago but has got stronger.

I'd try one if I were you but I'm weak - unlike spidookly and Micky Grin

blushingm · 23/03/2011 09:22

just did a boots own and it's a BFN Sad

Tanif · 23/03/2011 09:29

I've been trying to keep up SWI every night, managed it every night from CD6 right up to CD 15 however DP cried off last night. He got into bed and informed me he'd had to put some cream on his willy as I'd 'broken it' the night before! How rude!

ThePippy · 23/03/2011 09:33

Morning all! Blimey this bus moves fast!

Congrats london very happy for you. Of course I now notice you were expecting AF on the same day as me so now I want to test again. I am only DPO6 though so I think it is unlikely to be anything but a disapointing result.

Hopefully this will be the first of many BFP's over the next few days and weeks!
