Tanif - I'm obsessed with baby names, so I have given it some thought :o

But be warned: you will get bored of any name you like now, so don't waste your best names by thinking about them too early :o

My DDs both have names I hadn't thought about before I was pregnant with them.

Spidookly I don't have a choice if we have a DS, DP has a family name that's been going since the year dot, so Thomas Alfred it will have to be.

Hi to everyone, especially my fellow Passengers on the nov bus.

My stats are:
TTC no 1, cycle 4, ucl (well thought it was 33 but was 28 this month) af due 14th April onwards ish???

My clear blue ov tests came today so hopefully will figure out when I ov and actually have sex somewhere near the right time- my closest so far has been 5 days before (from calculating dates).

Roll on the December babies!! (not literally...)

Tanif Not definite names, but DP and I have come up with a few names that we both like (hopefully this isn't tempting fate! It's just idle speculation, huh?!). Since we started talking about TTC, we'll often be watching TV and - inspired by a certain character on a programme or whatever - one of us will ask 'do you like Balthazar'? (well, not really, but you get the picture).

At least Thomas Alfred is a decent name. Our family has a name like that, but my brother is going to break the tradition.

The last person who would have cared was my Granda and he died last year :(

Both my Dad and my brother hate their name, so there's no pressure. Not that SIL had any intention of being pressured anyway :o

Dh has already a girls name , apparently its his choice as he has never named a baby before. It will be his first. Dc are his step chidren. I was a little miffed at first as I love choosing names, but he really loves this name and has for a long time and he is'nt at all bossy or like this in any other aspect of our relationship so I suppose I should allow him in this one aspect . The name is actually nice and has grown more on me the last couple of years. As for a boys neither of us have a clue, have already used my two favourite boys name.

If I am PG this month (1st time lucky) then it would have more than likely been conceived on St Patrick's Day. I would consider calling him Patrick if a boy but how would I explain it to him when he's older?!

It is very hard for me because we have to choose a muslim name (being DH is). I love Muslim girls names but was hard enough finding a boys name we liked with DS nevermind picking a new one. Dh wanted to called Welad- no way was I going to let my son share the name with a dog from eastenders

Trying to secretly catch up with the posts at work whilst eating my lunch but each time I refresh the page the large MN advertising keeps blaring out things about babies and maternity wear which I clearly don't want anyone at work to see...and that's with the internet window shrunk to v small on my monitor v irritating!!

Micky I had a client in who had just had a baby boy, she's British, he's Iranian, they'd called the baby Diako (which apparently means 'prince', however my spelling may be waaaaaaaay off), I thought that was quite a nice name.

Blue I have exactly the same problem, our computers are being updated so have to remember to close the window every time the IT guy needs access to my laptop!

That is quite nice Tanif Most Turkish names are Ali, Mohamed, Mustafa blah blah blah..

Also it all goes by meaning here so prince is cool!

I am going to be a size 0 by easter. The firm have moved premises and now I have to climb four flights of stairs to get to my office and the loos are two flights down. Amazing work out, especially since I have to physically go down to the ground floor to collect clients!

AF got me I'm afraid ladies :(. However, just recalculated my dates and if I concieved this cycle my due date would still be December so I can stay on the bus :).
