OK so I caved this morning and peed on an internet cheapy. At first there was nothing then later when I went back to look at it the faintest of faint lines but enough to make me cry! Then when I went back later not really a pink line but almost a crease or a dent where the line had been and possibly a faint line if I held it to the light and squinted.

Roll on tomorrow morning so I can test again. Im still reading high on my clearblue fertility monitor and my temperature shot up from 36.5 to 36.8 this morning and its never been this high in 6 months of tracking.

My back is aching too and I have really bad wind!

OK time to stop obsessing now, put my sensible head on and go to work. But i'll be back, just as obsessed tonight. xx

Iggly · 21/03/2011 07:41

seven I'd pay attention to the cm andcervix and have the opks as back up. This month I did that although no EWCM Hmm I did notice my cervix change.

Oooooooooooo Thinking that sounds promising! that's what happened to me - a faint line if I squinted then two days later was a bit clearer and could see it when held at arms length although still not dark yet. I POAS this morning again (cheapie) and it was the same as yesterday.

Nell have you had cysts before? I hope things are ok.

Fx poppy! I had loads of creamy CM with DS and there's a fair bit now (TMI!!!) so here's hoping for you.

I can feel we're going to get some nice BFPs soon Grin

WaitingforStork · 21/03/2011 08:19

Morning all, hello to the new people and congratulations to those who got their BFPs since I was last on! Sorry to all those how have been got my the evil witch too.

CD 17 here, not charting or anything so not sure exactly when I ov'd but suspect it was Friday, had a few cramps Thursday and Friday and some EWCM so good signs there. Guess I'm officailly in the tww again but will continue dtd (just in case you understand!), poor DH doesn't know what's hit him the last month.

No symptoms to spot yet (still very early at 3DPO!), having said that, very bloated this morning (like I have a balloon in my stomach)and feeling quite hormonal, kind of a flustered feeling, like I feel I should be doing something and I'm not sure what, makes me quite frustrated. Usually feel like it in the run up to AF but that should still be a while away. Anyway I'm off to work and to continue fantom symptom spotting...

Poppyjen · 21/03/2011 08:33

seven I agree with the other ladies here, OPKs not as reliable as cervical position and CM in my experience.

Fx Thinking Smile

Nell I had sharp pains on my right hand side until about 9 weeks with DS, so bad that I went in for 3 early scans to make sure all was ok as I was worried about ectopic (as this had just happened to my cousin). They told me that it was probably just that I had ovulated on that side, then the wee thing had implanted on that side and my body was stretching and pulling in that direction.

If you do get a BFP and it carries on I would definitely tell the docs about it and push for them to give you a quick scan when you are a few weeks along just to make sure all is ok. It will put your mind at rest at the very least Smile

Iggly So excited for you...all fingers and toes crossed Grin re the CM this happened to me too with DS, funny I didn't remember that until yesterday when it happened. We'll see Smile. Cervix has now got lower and firmer so I think there's a good chance that I did ovulate on 17th (ish) so I guess we'll just have to see!

I notice from the stats there are a good few ladies with AF due in the next few days, any news ladies? Smile

Youremindmeofthebabe · 21/03/2011 08:56

thinking that all sounds really exciting. Fx for you.

seven I have opk'd, temped and cm'd. I have found that opk and temping was the best combo for me. It is possible to miss a positive opk simply because it's quite a short period of time that the LH lasts for. Luckily I have a kind of fade in, which helps to indicate when I may ov. Sounds like the cervix info says you have ov'd. Obviously the only way you'd know definitively is by temping, but I'd say it's pretty certain. I've actually found the opk's quite good, although I use the Internet cheapies and sometimes the results have been debatable.

orange sorry AF got u.

Karbea · 21/03/2011 09:01

Hello Ladies,

In the middle of the 2ww arghhh.... good to see a couple of BFPs!

I'm going to try and hold out til Friday to test, but i've friends staying Friday and Saturday night, so I may test Thursday or hold out til Sunday!!!!

Everyone have a lovely weekend?

xx

rew108 · 21/03/2011 09:04

Hey!

12 days into the 2ww! Although the dates could be wrong this month! I doubt i'll get pg the first month of trying...but someone tell me it does happen! To back up a bit I had a fake period as I stopped a pack of pills 5 days after taking it! Think I ovulated around the 17 to 19th march! Just the waiting now, has anyone had this experience, or got pg just after coming of mycrogynan?

Rew

rew108 · 21/03/2011 09:05

Sorry i meant 2 days into the 2ww! getting ahead of myself!

sevendwarves · 21/03/2011 09:10

Thanks ladies, I will assume I ov'd on Sat or Sun unless I find a reason to believe otherwise, I know I should just trust my body really.

thinking sounds very promising, fx!

iggly can we class you asa BFP yet?

Not yet seven! if I make it til the end of the week without AF then yes! I have been weak and bought a couple of cheap tests to do at work Will report back later.

rew I got pregnant with DS straight off microgynon. So stopped at Xmas, pregnant by the January.

Thanks poppy!

Sassymk · 21/03/2011 10:00

Hey ladies. Still no AF! I haven't tested yet as I've got a feeling it's going to be a BFN!

I tested on 19th and was due 20th, got a BFN! Have had AF symptoms but nothing else. It's the first time I've really tracked my period so I've got a feeling it might just be my ucl being longer than 28 days

I can't face testing and getting a BFN again!

spidookly · 21/03/2011 10:11

CD26 - pg symptom = nausea tinged hunger pangs on waking

Waiting
"kind of a flustered feeling, like I feel I should be doing something and I'm not sure what, makes me quite frustrated"

Thank you for putting into words exactly how I've been feeling :)

I'm not sure it's a pg symptom in my case, just a side-effect of having my head up my cervix at the moment iykwim :o

Sassy

TEST, TEST, TEST

Stay calm and test when you feel ready :)

Or, tell us more about your symptoms and we can all speculate :o Hmm

Iggly · 21/03/2011 10:26

spidookly I admire your resolve at not testing!

sassy maybe test tomorrow?

Ok I POAS (boots but not an early one). It's a BFP.... Ok took a minute to appear but still. I think, I think I'll tentatively accept it Grin the miscarriage has completely shaken my confidence but I may as well revel in it unless something happens to the contrary(ie chemical pregnancy)

So I'll Grin for now!

Ha! Well I had usual AF pains middle of last week, boobs are fuller but not sore but I usually get that too. I have been having number twos a bit more than usual lol. Also, I have noticed discharge over the past few days which I don't normally get or should I say don't normally notice as this is my first cycle trying! Argh, I really daren't test now don't know what's up with me I tested loads before AF was due!

Congratulations Iggly so pleased for you hopefully I will be following you. I did POAS this morning and got a BFN.

I felt really sorry for my DP and DS yesterday I was in such a grump poor things were walking on egg shells. I also have had AF cramps for 3 days now and this is very unusual for me. Can this be a PG sign?

I'm am not going to test till Friday. Well thats what I say now haha. I have one boots test left and do not want to buy anymore this month.

iknowanoldlady · 21/03/2011 11:14

Hello everyone, may I join you? Am on second month of trying for number 2, have an 18 month old DS. Used clear blue sticks this month, not the digital ones though, and AF is due Saturday...
Good luck to everyone and congrats on the BFPs
